Lord I have loved the habitation of your house and the place where your honor dwells. Let us humbly confess our sins to Almighty God. Almighty and most merciful Father we have aired and strayed from your ways like lost sheep. We have followed too much the devices and desires of our own hearts. We have offended against your holy laws. We have left undone those things which we ought to have done and we have done those things which we ought not to have done. And apart from your grace there is no health in us. O Lord have mercy upon us. Spare

1:06all those who confess their faults. Restore all those who are penitent according to your promises declared to all people in Christ Jesus our Lord. And grant almost merciful Father for His sake that we may now live a godly righteous and sober life to the glory of your holy name. Amen. Grant to your faithful people merciful Lord pardon and peace that we may be cleansed from all our sins and serve you with a quiet mind through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen. O Lord open our lips and our mouth shall proclaim your praise. O God make speed to save us. O Lord make haste to help us. Glory be to the Father and to the Son and to the Holy Spirit as it was in the beginning is now and ever shall be world without end. Amen. Praise the Lord. The Lord's name be praised. O glad some light pure brightness of the ever-living Father in heaven. O Jesus Christ holy and

2:11blessed. Now as we come to the setting of the Son and our eyes behold the Vesper light we sing your praises. O God father son and Holy Spirit you are worthy at all times to be praised by happy voices. O Son of God O giver of life and to be glorified through all the worlds. The Psalms appointed for this evening are Psalms 23 and 24. The Lord is my shepherd therefore I can lack nothing. He shall feed me in green pastures and lead me forth beside the waters of comfort. He shall refresh my soul and bring me forth in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake. Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death I will fear no evil for you are with me. Your rod and your staff comfort me. You

3:16shall prepare a table before me in the presence of those who trouble me. You have anointed my head with oil and my cup shall be full. Surely your goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever. Psalm 24. The earth is the Lord's and all that is in it, the compass of the world and those who dwell therein. For he has founded it upon the seas and established it upon the rivers of the deep. Who shall ascend the hill of the Lord or who shall stand in his holy place? He who has clean hands and a pure heart and who has not set his mind upon vanity nor sworn to deceive his neighbor. He shall receive blessing from the Lord and righteousness from the God of his salvation.

4:19This is the generation of those who seek him, even of those who seek your face, O God of Jacob. Lift up your heads, O you gates, and be lifted up, you everlasting doors, and the King of glory shall come in. Who is the King of glory? It is the Lord, strong and mighty, even the Lord mighty in battle. Lift up your heads, O you gates, and be lifted up, you everlasting doors, and the King of glory shall come in. Who is the King of glory? The Lord of hosts, he is the King of glory. Glory be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit, as it was in the beginning, is now and ever shall be, world without end, amen. A reading from the prophet Micah, beginning with the sixth chapter, the first verse.

5:19Hear what the Lord says. Arise, plead your case before the mountains, and let the hills hear your voice. Hear you mountains, the indictment of the Lord, and you enduring foundations of the earth, for the Lord has an indictment against his people, and he will contend with Israel. O my people, what have I done to you? How have I weeried you? Answer me, for I brought you up from the land of Egypt, and redeemed you from the house of slavery, and I sent before you Moses, Aaron, and Miriam. O my people, remember what Balak, King of Moab, devised, and what bail him, the son of Bayor, answered him, and what happened from she team to Gilgol, that you may know the righteous acts of the Lord. With what shall I come before the Lord, and bow myself before God on high?

6:25Shall I come before him with burnt offerings, with calves a year old? Will the Lord be pleased with thousands of rams, with ten thousands of rivers of oil? Shall I give my firstborn for my transgression, the fruit of my body for the sin of my soul? He has told you, O man, what is good? And what does the Lord require of you, but to do justice, and to love kindness, and to walk humbly with your God? The voice of the Lord cries to the city, and it is sound wisdom to fear your name, hear of the rod, and of him who appointed it. Can I forget any longer the treasures of wickedness in the house of the wicked, and the scant measure that is accursed? Shall I acquit the man with wicked scales, and with a bag of deceitful weights? Your rich men are full of violence, your inhabitants speak lies, and their tongue is deceitful in their

7:31mouth. Therefore I strike you with a grievous blow, making you desolate because of your sins. You shall eat, but not be satisfied, and there shall be hunger within you. You shall put away, but not preserve, and what you preserve, I will give to the sword. You shall sow, but not reap. You shall tread olives, but not anoint yourselves with oil. You shall tread grapes, but not drink wine. For you have kept the statutes of omri, and all the works of the house of Ahab, and you have walked in their councils, that I may make you a desolation, and your inhabitants a hissing, so you shall bear the scorn of my people. The word of the Lord, thanks be to God. My soul magnifies the Lord, and my spirit rejoices in God my Savior,

8:35for He has regarded the loatheness of His hand-madeen. For behold, from now on, all generations will call me blessed, for He that His mighty has magnified me, and holy is His name, and His mercy is on those who fear Him throughout all generations. He has shown the strength of His arm. He has scattered the proud in the imagination of their hearts. He has brought down the mighty from their thrones, and has exalted the humble in meek. He has filled the hungry with good things, and the rich He has sent empty away. He, remembering His mercy, has helped His servant Israel, as He promised to our fathers, Abraham, and his seed forever. Glory be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit, as it was in the beginning, is now and ever shall be, world without end, amen.

9:43A reading from the Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ, according to Saint Matthew, beginning with the 8th chapter, the 18th verse. Now, when Jesus saw a crowd around Him, He gave orders to go over to the other side, and ascribe came up to Him and said, Teacher, I will follow you wherever you go. And Jesus said to Him, Foxes have holes, and birds of the air have nests, but the Son of man has nowhere to lay his head. Another of the disciples said to Him, Lord, let me first go and bury my Father. And Jesus said to Him, follow me, and leave the dead to bury their own dead. And when He got into the boat, His disciples followed Him, and behold, there are rows a great storm on the sea, so that the boat was being swamped by the waves, but He was asleep. And they went and woke Him, saying, save us, Lord, we are perishing.

10:49And He said to them, why are you afraid, O you of little faith? Then He rose and rebuked the winds and the sea, and there was a great calm. And the men marveled, saying, what sort of man is this, that even winds and sea obey Him? And when He came to the other side, to the country of the gatherings, two demon-possessed men met Him, coming out of the tombs, so fierce that no one could pass that way. And behold, they cried out, what have you to do with us, O Son of God? Have you come here to torment us before the time? Now a herd of many pigs was feeding at some distance from them. And the demons begged Him, saying, if you cast us out, send us away into the herd of pigs, and He said to them, go, so they came out and went into the pigs, and behold, the whole herd

11:53rushed down the steep bank into the sea and drowned in the waters. The herdsmen fled, and going into the city, they told everything, especially what had happened to the demon-possessed men, and behold, all the city came out to meet Jesus, and when they saw Him, they begged Him to leave their region. The word of the Lord, thanks be to God. Lord, now let your servant depart in peace, according to your word. For my eyes have seen your salvation, which you have prepared before the face of all people, to be a light to lighten the Gentiles, and to be the glory of your people Israel. Glory be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit, as it was in the beginning, is now and ever shall be, world without end, amen.

12:56Now let us confess our faith in the words of the Apostles Creed. I believe in God, the Father Almighty, creator of heaven and earth. I believe in Jesus Christ, his only Son, our Lord. He was conceived by the Holy Spirit, and born of the Virgin Mary. He suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died, and was buried. He descended to the dead. On the third day, he rose again. He ascended into heaven, and is seated at the right hand of the Father. He will come again to judge the living and the dead. I believe in the Holy Spirit, the Holy Catholic Church, the communion of saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body, and the life everlasting, amen. The Lord be with you, and with your spirit. Let us pray. Lord have mercy upon us. Christ have mercy upon us. Lord have mercy upon us.

13:58Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name, thy kingdom come, thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us, and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil, for thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, forever and ever, amen. O Lord, show your mercy upon us, and grant us your salvation. O Lord, guide those who govern us, and lead us in the way of justice and truth. Clothe your ministers with righteousness, and let your people sing with joy. O Lord, save your people, and bless your inheritance. Give peace in our time, O Lord, and defend us by your mighty power. Let not the needy, O Lord, be forgotten, nor the hope of the poor be taken away.

14:59Create in us clean hearts, O God, and take not your Holy Spirit from us. O Lord, grant your people grace to withstand the temptations of the world, the flesh, and the devil, and with pure hearts and minds to follow you, the only God, through Jesus Christ our Lord, who lives and reigns with you in the Holy Spirit, one God, now and forever, amen. O Lord, let us be blessed with your grace, and grant us the power of justice and truth. Amen. O God, you manifest in your servants the signs of your presence, send forth upon us the spirit of love, that in companionship with one another, you are abounding grace, may increase among us, through Jesus Christ our Lord, amen. I now invite you over the next 30 seconds to offer your own intercessions and thanksgivings.

16:42O mighty God, Father of all mercies, we, your unworthy servants, give you humble thanks for all your goodness and loving kindness to us and to all whom you have made. We bless you for our creation, preservation, and all the blessings of this life, but above all for your immeasurable love and the redemption of the world by our Lord Jesus Christ, for the means of grace and for the hope of glory, and we pray, give us such an awareness of your mercies that with truly thankful hearts, we may show forth your praise not only with our lips but in our lives, by giving up ourselves to your service and by walking before you in holiness and righteousness all our days, through Jesus Christ our Lord, to whom with you and the Holy Spirit, be honor and glory throughout all ages, amen. O mighty God, you have given us grace at this time, with one accord to make our common supplications to you, and you have promised through your well beloved son

17:45that when two or three are gathered together in his name, you will grant their requests. fulfill now, O Lord, our desires and petitions as may be best for us, granting us in this world knowledge of your truth and in the age to come life ever lasting, amen.
