About this episode
The bio on Travis Meadows' website reads,
"An orphan who turned into a preacher
A preacher who turned into a songwriter
A songwriter that turned into a drunk
A drunk that is learning to be a human being"
Travis is a songwriter and singer originally from Mississippi who now makes his home in Nashville. He has written songs for Wynonna Judd, Dierks Bentley, and Blackberry Smoke among others. We talk about alcoholism, getting clean, co-writing versus writing solo, his creative process, and so much more. Travis is an amazing guy and was so gracious with his time. Cheers, y'all.
