Yes, it's not a full-on works team, but Toyota Gazoo Racing has stepped up its collaboration with Haas to transform Gene's team into TGR Haas F1 Team for the 2026 Formula One season. This is more than a simple increase in Toyota stickers on the car; but the pinnacle of what's been going on for the last 12 months or so. The realisation of a proper driver program in the junior formulae AND the success of Haas having a proper test team in Japan with access to Fuji Speedway AND finally having its own simulator, not having to borrow stuff from Ferrari so much anymore.

But the question is, when will Haas remove the prancing horse from its equation? Does it need to? Can it manage two titans of motorsport in the same room?
