It's a game show where we put the generations against each other and of course today Alexis is going to be answering questions, revering Gen Z to see what she knows really about the

90s. Because that's the majority of what I call my questions. It's the best decade. It was. I was going to say it was the highlight of the last 34 years. Like the more I dig into it, the more I'm like, oh, it was a good time. It really was. The music, the movie is like the whole world. Yes. I need to rub it in everyone. Yeah. At a great time. Oh my god. No social media. So everything I did in the 90s is not recorded, which is good. I know. Back when I used to just walk up to people and go, do you like me? Yeah. Do you like me? Now they can just click like. Yeah. Sure. Sure. All right. We're going to start first question. Are you ready? Okay. Yes. We're starting with the movies. And I just want to ask, how many Mel Gibson movies have you seen in your lifetime? Oh. He's the volleyball guy, right? No, that's Tom Hanks. Oh. He's the legends. Maybe I've seen Tom. So this is going to go well. All right. So I mean, he's kind of a controversial guy these days. But back in the 90s, he like ruled the Hollywood scene with blockbusters. Okay. One of his most famous movies came out in 95 and it was called Braveheart.

Yes. Okay. All I want you to do is I want you to tell me what the plot of the film was. And Alexis, I'll even give you multiple tips. Oh, thanks. Okay. I was going to confuse because I think this is the one that people argue over if it's a Christmas movie or not. But that's a different one. Anyways. Okay. Okay. Was Braveheart about a show vanistic advertising exec who magically requires the ability to hear what women are thinking? Oh. Oh, my gosh. It's a good one. Sorry. I'm sorry. Was Braveheart about a medieval Scottish patriot who leads a rebellion? Hmm. Okay. Or was it about see a man whose body is cryogenically frozen and then forgotten about? I told a kid accidentally wakes him up 53 years later. Oh. Frozen heart. Wow. Okay. I lean towards the reason I know the title of this movie besides that I get all I've gotten like 10 movies confused so far in this. This is because my high school boyfriend at the time loved all the movies about like nights and fighting and stuff. And so I just remember you'd have this on and talk about it's his favorite movie all

time. And I was like, I hate it because you like it. And so I think I had to do with a war of some Scottish thing that you said. Just some type of war. Hit the audio question. Would you be willing for one chance, just one chance to tell our enemy that they may take our lives, but they'll never take all freedom. That's right. Okay. He was William Wallace. It would have been amazing if it was the mind reading when we were young and I still the same. So the other two plots are actually also Mill Gibson movies. That's what I thought. Yeah. So the show vanistic advertiser who magically wakes up and here all the way up. And here all of women's thoughts is it's terrible. It's what women want. Yeah. Look at David that one. Oh, I saw that when I was younger. And then the one where Mill Gibson's body is cryogenically frozen and then forgotten about and then 53 years later, a kid stumbles upon it and wakes him up. It's called forever young. It was also a male gift movie. I saw that. And it's like racing because that he starts aging really quickly.

Oh, no. I know. You can use his other plot lines and they sound like they're jokes. That's a good boy. Yeah. Yeah. All right. We're starting off strong. Shout out to my high school accent. There we go. Yeah, I bet he listens. All right. Next we're going to play a round of lyrical fill in the blank. Oh, I'm always so good at these. Yes. And I'm pulling a song off one of my favorite 90s albums. No doubt's tragic kingdom. Oh, no. So good. So good. This album came out and I got to say just as a brag, no doubt was my first ever concert. Really? I'm going to pick sure mid 90s skater girl Brooke. Do we have glasses on? Oh, big. Okay. Yeah. I think I'm in eighth grade and no doubt open for Goo Goo Dolls and then Bush, which is where Gwen Stefani met Gavin Ross. Oh, that's right. Oh, I got married, right? Dude, and I went in the mosh pit and I almost lost my glasses. Oh, eighth grade in the mosh pit. Yeah. Not the glasses. All right. So we're going to see how well you know their smash hit. I'm just a girl.

Oh, okay. Okay. I'm going to read the lyrics and then I'll point to you and you feel the blame. I know the main line. Okay. I'm just a girl. And we're going to start from the beginning of the song. Oh, good. Okay. Take this pink ribbon. Put it in your hair. No. I'm exposed and it's no. Oh, it's going to rhyme. I'm exposed and it's no cares. In the fairy. Don't you think I know exactly where you are? Because it stalked you. The world is forcing me to. Work. I'm just a girl. Oh. I'm just a girl. How's it going? Oh, living in the world. Don't let me down. Oh, man. Oh, I'm just a girl. It was rhymes with girl. I don't know. I'm just a girl. I'll live in my own world again. Why? How do you know what I'm doing? Don't let me have. What is this song? Don't let me have. Don't let me have. I'm going to be a lyricist's songwriter. Don't let me have. What is this song? Don't let me have. Don't let me have.

A heartbreak. Get. What? It's so close. I need to hear it. This was my female anthem. How dare you. No. What an eston. It's no big surprise. Don't just think I'm knowing that you will understand. This world is forcing me to do what I'm doing. I'm just a girl. I'm just a girl. I'm just a girl. I'm just a girl. I'm just a girl. I'm just a girl. I'm just a girl. I'm just a girl. I'm just a girl. I'm just a girl. Get. What's your hand? The one who Ik‑ shoulders. I'm just a girl. Oh, my baby. I don't let me out of your sight. I'm the honey, I don't let you go. I'm the honey come on, I'm just a girl. The third party has to go done with it. The third party's to go. It want to go as said. Anyhow. The last part of the homework? Wanna sing for us? The last thing I did later on. I keep talking about me last time. Next question. Hey. Bゥ루. I know. Hey, my head. I was thinking I'm like, happy hour getting your hair done, boasting your hair.

Jose would have done better jobs. I'm better at peel day. Jose. I have high-five for you. I'm sorry to go on spine. Yep. All right. All right. Next one. Okay. If you need to know why I feel like my generation loves puns and sarcasm and parody songs, all you have to do is look no further than the Animaniacs. I'm going to talk about Animaniacs. Okay. They were on from 93 to 98, and in my opinion, Best Show that ever lived. Really? Oh, yes. It's star the Warner Siblings, Waco, Yako, and Dot. Okay? We were lived in the tower. We were the Warner Towers, we were regular studios. That's right. And one of Yako's catchphrases was Good Night, everybody. All right. And he would say it in the middle of a scene, long before the show was over. It was really funny. Why would he say it, Alexis? Does he pass out a lot? Like, he's not getting knocked out. out, you know, or something. I guess violent. Somebody who knows are going to pass out. Yeah. Good night everybody. Yeah. Just like, I mean, it'd be kind of funny in the middle of the show.

That is a great idea. Maybe he's wacky. Maybe he's asleep during the wait. What's it called? You're not turn all these asleep, whatever. He's got weird bed times is where I'm going with this. It could be the kids have to go early. You were pretty young. I remember laughing. I don't, maybe I didn't get the joke. I just remember being like, this shows that over yet. I was like early teens and even some of the jokes I didn't get. Hi, everyone. OK. I think wacko's annoying. They kick him out of the show early. Like halfway through the show, the other characters, what are their names? Waco, Daco, Dottie, whatever they're going to do. Waco, Daco and Dott. Yeah, going dog is hired to wacko. They kick him out. So he says, good night everybody. Because he's not in the second half of the show. Is that what you're going with? Yep. OK, no. Oh no. No. He would use it after any sexual innuendo joke. Oh. So I'm really excited. Yes. And. So I probably didn't get it then. I'll pull the couple of examples. Oh, look at this. The stockings were home so our names clearly show. It hopes this old Santa would leave a big load. Not tonight, everybody. Ah. OK, there's another one.

It's good I didn't get it. There's another one. First, verbs, yako, and you conjugate. Oh, me? I've never even kissed a girl. No, no, no. It's easy. I'll conjugate with you. Good night, everybody. Hi. Hi. Hi. I wanted to love the revival, but it was ahead of its time. It didn't hit me as much as that original one. So I need to watch it. Yeah, go watch the Man of Maniacs this weekend. Thank you everybody for being part of the podcast. Yeah. For being with us, especially on the weekends, we'll be back Monday with your brand new loser line and lots of fun. And until then, leave us a comment, follow the show, and it's Brooke and Jeffrey in the morning. Have a good weekend. I survived nine months in captivity.
