1:55And we're going to see obviously they did unique things. They put two on the field, two of the quarterback same time quite a bit. Most of the time it's four quarterback and 15. He's really playing running back doing things. But they do with the running backs, motion out, move, get them out in space or screens to them, follow things like that. But it promotes a little threat across the board. You got to be aware who's in the ballgame where they're at and what they're capable of doing. That is Ron Roberts talking about what Arkansas is up against this week against Utah's who welcome back in for our second hour big Joe Klein is here for another 30 minutes or so. I thought Oklahoma Michigan was going to be a good game, but maybe I don't feel that way anymore. Our question today today has to do with Michigan Phil. 2:57The zone question of the day should Michigan's win against Western Michigan be overturned, even if there is no NCAA protocol for a protest. Why the there is not. If you missed it, the Mac came back yesterday and said, uh, upon further review, you screwed us. So Western Michigan was too nice about this too early on. I think you, you maybe should have left it open more, but when you kind of concede, not conceded, but you kind of went along with it too quickly, I think. I'll tell you why they gave up on this too early. They don't have an athletic director because my brother-in-law left there to take the job of Michigan state. The interim doesn't want anything to do with this. The school president took it from a completely different perspective of education and, um, yeah, it was the AD when the interim jump on this chance. But the commissioner or the Mac as a league came out and said we support the decision after reviewing. So yes, that's on them. All right. That's our question today today. They got jobbed. Okay. We have already heard from both coordinators Ron Robertson Tim Krams. You will hear a little bit more from them here as they spoke yesterday with reporters as the razor backs prepare for the 20th ranked Utah youths this Saturday. Be the hogs first ever matchup with Utah. They'll play them in two years in Fayetteville. Both teams coming off wins over FCS programs Utah over Idaho by 52. The hogs took down North Alabama 31 to 14, expecting both teams to attempt to establish the run at Rice Eccle Stadium. Hogs rush for just over three yards per carry. Utah rolled up 364 yards on 49 carries against Idaho and average of 7.4 yards and they had five players rush for over 30 yards, including 89 from true freshman Lamarcus Bell 72 from junior Wayshawn Parker. The second string quarterback whom Ron Roberts just referenced number 15, Bird Ficklin,

5:06running back Steve Chavez, Soto and QB1 Devin Dampier also ran for more than 30. Parker last year was second amongst all powerful running backs averaging 6.6 per carry. Dampier ran for over 5.5 per carry. Here's Ron Roberts on the Utah quarterback. He's a really good athlete and he's really when he carries the ball he's more like a running back. He's a strong, powerful kid. He doesn't run like a quarterback. He runs like a running back. He does have a rocket arm. He can make all the throws. He can reach anywhere on a field. So he's got a cannon. He's a good athlete. He's a great player. He's won a lot of football games. You know what I respect for him and 15. 15 is basically the same thing. Copycat coming in. He's a well younger version. You just heard him talk about Bird Ficklin who he will sometimes couple to be on the field at the very same time. Ficklin had a good performance. Didn't just get garbage time against Idaho. He ran for 70 yards on eight carries also through eight passes completing four of them for 93 yards in a couple of touchdowns.

6:07But expecting that they're running backs. The Marcus Bell and Wayshawne Parker will do the heavy lifting and here's Ron Roberts on those two backs. Bright tackles without doing it. People just bounce off of them. They're both physical. They're both physical runners. They're impressive. I mean, they're a good job. You know, we're going to have to gain tackle. We got, you know, we got to do it like I said, pursuing to the football, make sure gap sound how you really fits. And then we got to tackle. You know, we got to make sure we're wrapping up and got to get to two to the party and get them down. The Utah defense is led by Colton Swani. He was elevated from linebackers coach by Morgan Scali during the off season. They still run the Scali defense. He's run it throughout his long tenure as Utah's defensive coordinator. And here is offensive coordinator for Arkansas Tim Cramsey on that Morgan Scali defense. Now last year he was a 27% blitz guy. Okay. He brings every type of blitz or is he's a four down four down structure completely different than last week four down structure 27% blitz guy last year. All right. Last Saturday he was closing on 60% blitz guy. Is he doing that just to mess with us?

7:10Okay. Is that who he is this year? Is the fact that Colton Swans calling it. He's a little bit more aggressive than what Morgan was at times. Is it because he felt he could do that Idaho and play the man covered in the back end? All I know is that of the 13 games I watched on them last year and in this year. He is the same guy. He runs his scheme. It doesn't matter. They lost a lot of players, some of the graduations, some to Michigan, whatever may be. Okay. He's running the same exact defense he ran last year. The same types of blitz as he ran last year. We saw them all this past Saturday. I would think he'd he'd narrow it down to a couple of that he likes against us and we'd go from there. 8:12Iowa, Oregon, Oregon State and Tarleton State, the opponents. One game of Dickie Stevens Tuesday, April 20 against Memphis. There'll be a root 66 stadium newly named in Springfield, Missouri, March 23rd against Missouri State, the SEC home schedule, Bama, LSU, Mizzou, Auburn, Kentucky on the road Ole Miss Tennessee, Texas, A&M, Mississippi State, Midweek Games against South Dakota State or Roberts, Eastern Illinois, Arkansas State, Missouri State, UCLA, Little Rock and Grambling and Zach Stewart is practicing with the razor backs as he awaits an eligibility waiver from the NCAA at 15 home runs last year for Arkansas. If he is on the roster, he will start the season as the NCAA's active home run leader with 59. How do we feel about that? Will he you how do you feel about the likelihood? I think it'll happen. I think it's some of it that has to do a lot with the Washington County Circuit court cases for the two football players and the one softball players. We'll see how that works out later this week. I don't know if this was mentioned before.

9:13So this may not have been news when they released the Skycholue yesterday, but the midweek game against our Dickie Stevens is Memphis. Yes. So that's good. Yeah, I love playing. I think that was the first opponent. They have been Memphis at Dickie Stevens. He was either them or Louisiana Tech. So I love that. You play. None of us remember. So we'll take your word play in all the in state schools. You go to Arlington again, which is like a second home and second year in a row go into Springfield. So with all the, you know, so many games at home. It's like the team will never play a road series until SEC play April 20th is a Tuesday by the way. Is your interest. Yes, sir. I'm going to ask if you saw that we got the punter on raise eight this week. Did you catch that? I did see that. And I just kind of wonder what the folks who run social media is when the one thing that they can promote for the weekly lists would be the punter. You're being too negative. 10:14So that means I guess gave up. Yeah, I'd say odds are we're probably seeing this week at least once. So hopefully not, but you know, we'll see. Can I say something in defense of JW for a quick moment? You may not. All right. Let's go on here from the eight seven home. Think Arkansas could ever get Texas at Dickie Stevens. No, I don't think they'd want to play Texas at Dickie Stevens. They're never going to have an SEC weekend at Dickie Stevens. Um, who were the globe life opponents? Uh, Iowa, Oregon state, Oregon. And then that Monday, Tarleton Tarleton Tarleton Tarleton, Tarleton state. The text. They play a 10 Tarleton. They are that's not part of the globe life event. No, it's a globe life field. No, because they, they, they play college baseball games weekends and then mid weeks for like a month and a half before the Rangers start their season. So hogs are just taking advantage of one of those mid weeks, proving the point of people to in and out a lot of times out. Uh, from the 501, I caught the end of this. But did I hear Phil say that Arkansas has a baseball player who entered the season as the

11:15NCAA career home run, run later? Yeah. The life steward is on the active roster. 59 home runs would lead all active players in the NCAA. He was Missouri state before. Yes. Right. Three years Missouri state last year, Arkansas, a lot of power, but a lot of blowing lot, a lot of hair. He does have great hair. That's right. Lot of hair, a lot of home runs, a lot of swings and misses. And I think if he does, if he is going to be a razor back, he'll be a full-time DH. Um, I know. No. Yeah, what do you got it? You want to say something nice about JW Nuxuf? Well, it wasn't to say something nice. It's just I was, you know, he's, he's looking for something to hold on. We are. He pointed out the, the, you know, how well the team did on third down. I don't remember what it was. You know, KJ is 12 to 13 and a second half against North Alabama. And, and, and you know, you could hear leading up to the season when he would call our text. He's looking for something to hold on to. I don't blame him for being like that. Honestly, um, it's just there are other things that overshadow those in a lot of people's

12:19minds. And I think in Silverfield's mind, too, you know, the turnovers over shadow, how well you did on third down. Yeah. The screen passes, you know, that might have been successful to the running backs are still sort of overshadowed by an inability to hand the ball off and run it for positive yardage more than two or three yards. He makes a lot of good points on occasion. Um, the problem is like last year he was divorced from San Pitman before the season. And he was married to Ryan Silverford before the season started. So he's going to beat the positive drum until he's absolutely proven wrong. I hope he's not. Hope he's absolutely right. And I hope it turns out great. Isn't Kayn Archer Utah says Jeff? Yes. He is. Yes. Not playing. I'm assuming. No, it's not playing. Think Arkansas is who are the favorites to win the SEC baseball next year? People already turn on the page. Who sports? You got me. I don't know Arkansas. I will say that LSU and Arkansas. Speaking out of school, you could tell Matt Hobbs and Matt's not a smoke blower. He was very optimistic about the roster they've assembled.

13:20I think he's got reason to be here. You know, we're talking about depth in terms of who can be a starting pitcher. Um, I think the outfield looks like it's got some depth. You got good power from the right on the left side. Um, yeah, I mean, I think they've got a lot of reason. Plus, I think they felt like they're in a much better financial place than the year before. No doubt. So I just think that in their minds means the roster should be better. Money supposed to equal a better roster. Um, and maybe it will. On the 501, I'll say this. We don't serve field as more money to use than Sam Pittman did. If we get Sam Pittman results this year, that's a problem. I agree with that. However, can we pump the brakes on that and just wait and see? Joe, I have maintained that Dr. J was the most influential basketball player in our lifetime. Not the best mind you, but the most influential. He clearly influenced Michael, then interactly Kobe and LeBron thoughts on Dr. J. Great, great, great player. My opinion easily top 20 player of all time. So very influential. You can't argue that. Can't argue that at all. I mean, influential in the ability to play above the rim.

14:23Right. He did some things with that, you know, highlight stuff that really resonated. When I was a kid, Dr. J was the one we all wanted to be. Yeah, absolutely. I was a must see TV. He was must see TV when the games were delayed. Listen, but let me tell you what we also, I mean, I used to must see Dr. J in the finals. Tape delayed. Yeah, I'd run out of the room at the 10 o'clock news because the guy would go, he'd tell you the highlights since I'm getting ready to run highlights and tell you the score of the NBA finals. If you're getting ready to watch it when the news is over, maybe I want to watch it. NBA finals was not on live in the world. God, you are famous tape delayed. When I was 79 or something, when I was a kid, we also practiced the Joe Klein, put your butt on a guy and get that, get that post and then the two hand power dribble and go up strong and finish at the rim. That was specifically for basketball. Yes. Also good with basketball. I was way better at that than the swooping under the basketball underneath the goal and

15:25trying to flip it up off the glass. That was way harder move. The Dr. J emulating was way more difficult than Joe's. He had the fro man. He just he was and he was cool. Well, he's a good dude and and yeah, when you met him and I got to meet him and be around him. A good amount. Client. I mean, just class. I'm saying he's a good dude. Remember because I remember he committed to UCF flipped to Utah, even though they had you know that winning hand was gone at the end of the year. He's still committed to him instead. I was watching that tennis match. Eastern time. That's when it finished. It was the longest latest match played at the US open. What a tennis match it was indeed. Uh, it was the latest finish. It was the fifth latest major finish in tennis history, but the latest of the US open is the first US open in which multiple men's quarterfinals went to a fifth set tie break since the tie break was introduced in 1970. It's also there's some other history here. It's the first time. Um, or at least the US is guaranteed that a rep in the final and would be the first time if they win one of one of the two win between Shelton and Tiafo. Then an American has won a major since 2003. Wrap your mind around 23 years of no majors for an American man. The future is definitely getting brighter though for American majors. No, no, no majors, no Australian, no Wimbledon, no French.

17:28Wow. Also the match for those of you who like to keep up with the history of our nation, the match between Shelton and Tiafo will be the first major meeting in the semis or later between black American men in the open era. And one will be the first black American man to reach a US open final since Arthur Asher, 1972. So it's been a minute for men in general. Uh, and it's been a longer minute for African American tennis players to get this deep in the tournament. And Shelton's, I mean, the upside for him is insane. He's a big strong, powerful dude. Not that Tiafo is not great, but Shelton looks like he may be. Maybe one of those dudes different. Yeah. He's got his lady different cheer him on every day too. That's the kind of thing that can get me back. His lady's Rodman's daughter. Rodman's got a Trinity. She's a, he only knows because she plays soccer. He is a stud for the US team. Yeah. 18:31Um, my issue that somebody had and a hashed out yet about the quarterback was, uh, he didn't look off the receivers. It's almost like he was telegraphing where he's going to throw it. Then for Phil, whatever was the scoop behind the Tennessee coast that left was he pushed out. What was the deal? I'll hang up with Vitello. I don't think he was pushed out. He was just presented with an opportunity that I don't really see how you could have turned down and offered to manage any major league team much less. We talked about he left Arkansas when he left Tennessee. I think we must be when he left Tennessee because you leave Arkansas to go be ahead coach. Yeah. I think you leave that school to go make a whole bunch more money to coach the giants. Yeah. And if it doesn't work out there and I know it's been a miserable season. I don't think it's all Tony's fault. Um, somebody will hire him in college. Hey, Gus Malzahn talked about yesterday. When you got guys, it's a lot easier. Yeah. And by here's the other thing too, like for a college head coach to be presented with something like that, you have such competing interests on a campus, especially to place like Tennessee where they want to win at everything and expect to win at everything, including

19:36women's basketball, exactly, which might be getting some of the NIL dollars that you're hoping baseball gets. And when you work for professional team, you just work for that sport. Yeah, they want to win everything there. You're right. What a concept. Mark isn't little rock. What's up, Mark? Hey, guys, yeah, I'm just laughing at some of these delusional fans we have. It's like, don't be negative. You're the problem. It gives you negative. Hey, you're doing your job. You're being an objective and an analyst. And you're doing the right analyst. The analysis is that the hogs look bad and they're probably going to be lucky to win two or three games. And here is a suggestion. Watch football like an adult. These are kids we're talking about here. Watch football because football is a fun game. I enjoyed watching the LSU game the other day because they look like a great team. I'm a cowboy fan, but the cowboys have been delusional for 30 years.

20:38And they've been just completely disappointment after disappointment for 30 years. But I still watch. I watch all the games. It's not going to upset me when they lose. I appreciate good football. I like, you know, I want to see a great game when other teams win. And I just appreciate the game for the game. Don't get so caught up in the hogs or this team or that team. It's football. It's not. We're not curing cancer here. Nobody's dying here. If you're right, this is more important by kids. Mark, thanks for the call. And you're yeah, it's enough. Um, real quick. When do you do game balls and jocks? Mondays or Tuesdays yesterday. Because I'm late, but I hope that storming the field after the Western Michigan game. It got brought up. That was high on the list. That was fine. Here's the thing. Here's a deal. People are not anything but outcome driven.

21:39So to his point, and I've made this point before too, you should be able to enjoy the game. Your team's not going to win every time. But if your experience is solely based on. Did my team win and I get it. It's a lot more foam in your team wins. But you know, it is supposed to be entertainment. Now like I watched the game the other day, I didn't care who won an Ole Miss one on the last second field goal. That's a hell of a game. I didn't care who won. But if I have been rooting for the other team, I still have entertained the, I enjoyed the games as a hell of an entertaining game. Some people think that's what being a fan is though. Yeah. It is purely living and dying. Uh, that's why. And Arkansas was entertaining last year. We would like for them to be a little more successful. So I get why you're driven by outcomes. You need to find some joy in razor back football without getting the outcome you won every time because otherwise you're going to spend a lot of time in disappointment. And if you're like a 20 handicap, you're not going to shoot 68 very often. So get realistic about it. You happy when you break a, we got to find our joy somewhere else Joe. You got a search and find a thing to make you happy. And sometimes you're going to search and look inside a box score for things that make

22:42you happy. Sometimes you don't, don't look inside last week's box. Just look in the mirror and go. Yeah. I don't know. That's what I do. It doesn't help me just looking the mirror every day and I go. Yeah, you got some long arms, Joe. Pat yourself on the back like that. 1128. We got to go. Thank you. 28:51I was far more prepared for week one, even though there were more games, more ridiculous things that happened, obviously. And even more like there was good delays, which were just. I mean, maybe maybe we don't play games in the first game. Yeah, it's that I mean that and then the you know, the Florida state power outage deal was weird too. So I mean, it was it was kind of an honor. Yeah, we had some great games though. I mean, we had some really good finishes in there. Some last second field goals. I mean, it wasn't the cleanest game ever played once they finally kicked it off in Tallahassee, but they did come down to the wire with the field goal. So I think I still think they're better. Yeah. Who stood out to you as far as the teams that you're I mean, LSU, you know, blowing out Clemson offense says more about Clemson or LSU, but what any other teams that really made a statement for you that you know, stood out. I mean, obviously there were teams that had big mismatches and were expected to blow teams out. But anybody that really stood out to you. They really, I mean, they took what was well, our number two team in the country, they

29:55don't insist, but I know it's pretty easy. And I understand that you know, nobody else is watching about that. It's not a dumb easy thing. I don't think that's a big thing. But literally just like I thought that Bushy State came out, they punched him in the mouth, and they ran with him to the toe. So Dan Lennon is going to have to, if that's what that looks like against Bushy State, they're going to have to, they're going to be in some fights. I know a good, they get right. Game is going to play Oklahoma State. It's really good. Say what? It's a good get right. Game is going to play Oklahoma State. Yeah, that's, yeah. Bushy State was, they looked really good. I was very impressed by them. And I thought, I thought, he used to kind of galvanize themselves, oh, J and U. I had a friend who's, I have a friend who's a J and U of law who's convinced that Liberty was going to beat them and Game 1, Bill and APR, we've all seen him. Right? We've seen him as an offensive coordinator. We've seen him as a head coach. We've seen him go to get one of the APA's jobs and then he's a J and U. And we all expect that to, or at least a lot of us just like to lose that game, they were able to get

30:57that one out. That was good. Virginia Tech. I don't know how growing week, obviously they're expected to be the MI, but it feels like James Franklin and Brent probably have a really wonderful connection and they did something and I, many people don't know about this, many people do, but they blocked, they almost blocked three, they blocked two punts and that's to me is just like, they want to pay homage to what Virginia Tech really is in the court, talk to some Virginia Tech folks and people that, that's the thing that was the most excited about. Not the points on the school board, but the fact that they, they're back, they, they want to play some beam of ball. All right, Michael, let's talk about Arkansas a little bit here. I don't know much of how much of a change you got to watch them play North Alabama. There were a lot more intriguing matchups for sure. Arkansas's defense played pretty darn well. We were pretty impressed with what Ron Roberts did offensively, especially in the first half had some trouble getting in sync through a bad pick in the end zone late in the first

31:57half and didn't run the ball very effectively against the team that, you know, you expected dominating physically. And we're, you know, some people freaking out around here. Well, they'll, we'll know more after the Utah game for sure, but what, what do you think? Is that, is that offense redeemable? Yeah, I think so. I think it's, I think it's the end of the day, like this game won, new staff, new focus, you will in terms of what they want to do and how they're going to try and get it done. But getting to win is better than not getting away. That's best job one. True. Okay. Number two. And getting an actual one, I mean, 31 14. The problem. I think the biggest thing for me is looking and making sure that you continue the final years around the football. I don't know if it's going to be by committee was it? Is it, um, Russell and Smith? Is that correct? Mm hmm. I'm really. They were missing their, they were missing their, sorry, they're missing their third back also. So, I'm just, I'm reading my notes right now. It's so, it's my handwriting's not good.

32:58I was the senior officer. It's not great. Anybody. Um, but they got to figure out who's going to, if you have a main guy, do you have a guy that's better for short-orderly, they, they've got to figure that out as well. So it's going to be interesting to see how that shakes itself out. And you're just going to have to make it work. And I keep on calling KJ Jefferson, but it's KJ Jackson. Yeah. So he didn't delete, they didn't do any favors on that, on that, on that level, by, at the end of the day, it's about patience and finally, it's the principle, it matriculates the ball down the field. I think the biggest key is, I'm then, I'm looking at, I'm trying to get first downs. First downs are the most important thing in football. And we talk so much about explosive players, because you think they're important. It's, you know, loosen up state these to create space in the right game. But I think first downs is the most critical thing in football, because if you, if you keep getting first downs, that gets you to the red zone, you keep getting first downs in the red zone. You get a first down in the red zone, get you to first and goal, first and goal, and you keep four touchdowns. Let's go do it. And I think first down to where teams have to start the same thing when I talk about defensive teams, third downs, the most important down of the game, no matter where you are on the field.

34:00Third down in the middle in the green zone, you're going to get a punch. Third down in the red zone. The best thing you can do is give them a field goal instead of giving them a touchdown. Arkansas was great defensively on third down, one of 10 for North Alabama. So there's up. So Michael, they got Utah Saturday. And you look through the, I mean, the recent history of Utah, I guess you're going to just go straight back to Urban Meyer. And I just think it's amazing for a program to be able to consistently elevate coaches to head coach. They're on the second time doing this now with Wittingham, then to Morgan Scally. Scally elevates his linebackers coach to defensive coordinator. I mean, this is, you talk about the idea of how difficult it is to instill culture in football with, you know, a microwave on an annual basis now, but you look at how they've done it at Utah for the last 2023 years. You can kind of see how they can take Wittingham's culture to Utah under Morgan Scally. I guess we'll have a sense of it this weekend for the first game that he coaches in the regular season against an FPS team.

35:02So I got a couple of different ones. 2004. I they asked me to travel in 2004. I opted out to that already about a plane ticket to get a Boston to see my girlfriend. And I'm watching my team did demolish because of that 2004 Utah team. The Urban Meyer team that you just met them. So yeah, it was bad. I was like, I'm glad I'm not there. I'm glad I'm in Boston with my girlfriend too. They are a team and I was talking a couple of friends about this. Utah's a program where they are giving kids a chance to play football. Those kids are very thankful for a chance to play football. Wittingham, as we see it Michigan Michigan, if you play football Michigan, you're not getting a chance to play football. You expect to play college football. You just are picking where two different things. I was wondering what the culture would look like at Michigan. But to go back to Utah, they promote from within. They have promoted from within because those guys understand the culture. They understand the landscape, the layout and all those things. So I think that they're going to be okay. This is going to be a tough test for Arkansas. No doubt about that. And they're going in.

36:02Do you know, do you guys know what they're leaving? I can tell you, Tom. I would assume they're leaving Friday, but I don't know that. I think, well, I'm a little confused because silverfield said we're not leaving early and then I heard somebody say something to leave in Thursday. Yes. Well, find out from his coach. Yes. And I'm sure Chuck will ask him, but I wouldn't think it's not that long with trip from Fayville. It's not about the length of the trip. It's about the elevation. That's fair. But I don't know that most of the time teams do, I mean, my experience at least that hasn't been the case. I think it's a 3,000 foot eye prints in elevation between Fayetteville and Salt Lake. There's definitely a difference. But oh, no, we, I say this from experience. We left, you would see what they're to get that. You and see what they left on you. When we play them in 04, you would see what don't they're saying? Okay. I don't think it's a bad idea if you can do it. Yeah. So I just, I definitely ask the question because there is a difference. It is, it can be a real thing. So it'll be interesting to see, but I mean, go out there, play your football game,

37:02and obviously two coaches in this spot, one guy, first time head coach, the other guy. Obviously, I hit those in a bigger program. So we're going to see what, what, how it shakes out, but that's definitely one of the games that I've got so good for this week. All right, Texas Ohio State, where are you going? I'm going to go with Texas. Okay. I think there's, I think they're secondary. I don't think you can top Ohio State with staying in that wide, wide, wide receiver. But I do think that you can slow them down. Make them, make check down throws that they don't want me. And then at those times, you get greedy when you get them to get greedy, all the sudden, now the balls in your court. And with Ryan Wingo, I really want to see them stretch out of Ohio State deep in. Because I'm still, I want to see them get pressed. I know that their defense is good, but I want to see them be pressed by a team that has calling running back, calling wide receivers, and then obviously a quarterback back can, if he has to talk that ball in there. Michael, I'm a little, so I wonder a little bit of it.

38:04It's one of the somebody texted about this. Arkansas and Utah, you realize Utah is one of the teams that is sold to private equity. Like their athletic department is now a four, a four profit entity. I think Kentucky has done the same thing, but it's be the first time the hogs play against essentially. It's like, you want to call them a professional organization. I think you can now as a four profit entity. And it just, to me, just doesn't sound like college sports, doesn't. No, and I just, every time I'm probably private equity, stick with space and anything, I get where I get very wary, like in general. Obviously, I was my daughter, this one, and we're seeing private equity, and they give sports on a major level. I don't know if you guys know about paid a state of play, excuse me. For you at the book, the hotel, through the tournament or through the team, otherwise you're kicked in to play in the tournament. And that's part of private equity is doing those things to squeeze care. I don't know how they're going to do it with college yet.

39:05I say, yeah, because I know there's going to find a way to squeeze not just players, not just coaches, not just teams, but also in the final ways to squeeze universities in that flooded department. I just don't know how they're going to do it yet. I'm not smart enough to figure that out, but we'll know it's like a pornography, right? We know we'll know when we see it. And I think in their mind, it's a way to make up a gap between a place like LSU, Ohio State, Alabama. It's their way to make up that gap by letting people invest in them. But at some point, you got to pay the bifur, and I just don't know what that point is. I don't care about money. I don't care about equity. I'll care about his wins. Let's see how it goes this weekend. We'll talk in two weeks, Michael. Thank you for the time, man. That was good. You guys think it is. Appreciate Michael Felder. He says, go a day early. What does the US open? We're going to be a, well, I mean, it is an 815 915 central kickoff. You will be up a well pass midnight. It's 815 mountain time, I guess, in their defense. So I know, uh, boy, but I'm really worried about that turn around the next Saturday against Georgia, 11 a.m. I mean, that that's going to be tough. I'm just worried about it. Because if they were playing Georgia, like, you know, nine or 10 at night, yeah, this could make the difference. Like, I mean, Arkansas probably thump them, but anyway, wait until the games delayed until Sunday. You better pray to God. It doesn't really don't want that. You're really going to feel, but you know what? I love you. You'll be doing the show Monday morning from, uh, from Salt Lake City. It's not the worst place to get stuck. No, I love Salt Lake City. I spent the 99 baseball season out there, uh, in Ogden, just north of Salt Lake. It's a lovely place, but I don't want to get stuck there.

45:19Yeah, he comes from the part of the world. It's a Winnipeg Manitoba. Right, I think from you know, they have a great football team up there. Essentially we'll talk football because anyone know what they're called. In Winnipeg? Yeah, the bombers. You've got it. Yeah, the man knows his Canadian sports. Listen, I know the blue bombers. When I was, I watched their crappy hockey team a couple years ago in Nashville, there's the Jets today. Shut your mouth. But you know what, the predators aren't very good either. So it was kind of a, it was like a slab fight. It was nice. Oh my god. Not a slab shot fight. It was like a slab fight. You know, any pegs baseball team, the gold eyes? Do I know that one? I know that one. Winnipeg? Winnipeg, yeah. Even an independent team. Okay. I know. Is there a Canadian baseball league? No, but there's, there's independent leagues that have teams in Canada. Yeah, we got Triple A team out in Vancouver. And you know, the expose, obviously, they became the nationals and yeah, hang on to the blue jays. We're hoping to make that wild card run. We'll see if they can get ahead of Cleveland. Rooting for you guys last year. Oh gosh, that was terrible. Wasn't it? Either way, you're the only Canadian here who actually sounds Canadian. I sound a little bit bad. I've been here 20 years down here in Arkansas. Yeah, I must be around this production. We're doing come from away.

46:19It's a lot of Canada stuff in it. So maybe I'm just reverted to my old world. How old were you when you came to the US? To the US. I did my doctorate in music of all things the Ohio State got to say the Ohio State. And you know, and actually during 9-11, that's when actually, that's when I started doing my studies there. I got trapped on the American side of the board. I couldn't go back and forth because they closed all the borders. You're welcome. Yeah, I did so. He wouldn't let me out. So I came down to Arkansas. Well, Moose came when he was a baby Moose. And so he didn't really develop the accent so much. But he is a proud Canada born man who loves America too. So he's good. Yeah. All right, let's talk about come from away before we run out of time. This is a story that is based very much in fact with a few liberties. I'm sure taken with the dialogue. Yes, but it really is the Canadian connection to 9-11. A lot of people don't know this because we say it's not a musical about 9-11. That'd be super morbid. That's not what this is. This was the airspace was closed that day. And there are hundreds of planes, but 38 planes, carrying about 7,000 people end up in Gander, Newfoundland where there's a huge airport. It's literally an island.

47:20And there's only like 9,000 people that live there. And they have to find a way to feed 7,000 people, close 7,000 people find shelter for 7,000 people not knowing when they'd be there, not knowing how long they end up being there five days. And it's a remarkable story of kindness and generosity. And a musical was written about it. That is what come from away is. When was this first produced or when was this first presented? It was 10 years after I think. Yeah, 10 years after. And Randolph through New York and it was like how to huge follow. He's kind of like the anti musical. You know, back in those days, you know, you would see like, laymirs or you would see like Phantom of the Opera, which had all these monster productions things. But this was totally different. It's about 12 people on stage with 14 chairs. And they tell the story of all the characters who were living in Gander and all the Americans who came to live with them for those five days. And it was a huge hit in New York. And what they did, they released the rights just for this year because of course the 25th anniversary. Right. So small theaters like us, you know, we can pick them up and do them regionally and bring the story to everyone in the States. Okay, so basically this place doubled its residents overnight. Oh, yes.

48:20There are 149 productions of it going on right now. But yes, the town of Gander basically went from the whole age of population. And they had no notice. They had no way of knowing who was coming. And so they opened up their homes. They opened up. Now we have the thick Canadian accents, which is a super fun part of it. And then they all play. We have about 30 different characters that 14 people play. So they have the accent when they're Canadians. And then they're the plain people that are scared. Don't know what's going on. Getting there, arriving there, going back and forth. The chairs are moving all around because the chairs are the planes, the buses, the Tim Hortons, which is huge in Canada, of course. Yeah, Tim Hortons is the place. The show actually starts in the cities. Tim Hortons. And Tim Hortons, we serve it at the end. If they buy Burger King or the Burger King by Tim Hortons, help me move. If I'm wrong on this, Tim Hortons becomes so big in Canada that he actually bought out Burger King. And then I think those guys got bought up by Wendy's. I can't remember where I was from. I remember that merger. That was the first time I'd really heard of Tim Hortons. But yeah, anyway, oh yeah, it's a big deal there. And so it's very real. They are real people. We actually have videos of three of the real characters

49:21from 25 years ago that did a video for us and the welcome to the audience when we get started because they still go to Gander every year. There's a reunion every single year where everybody comes. There's a couple that met in that five days and ended up getting married. I mean, there's so many good stories of what comes out. A Canadian and American or? It was actually a Texan and an English man. They were on the planes trying to get back to Dallas as we were going, ended up in Gander. Met, fell in love. Must be a very romantic place. Apparently they honeymoon to Newfoundland. How many presentations are you doing? How many how many? How many eight? Okay. I believe so. We open for two weeks. Yeah, we open on September 11th, which is fantastic. We're doing an actual tribute lunch in that day. Yeah, Craig O'Neill, Rex Nelson, who was kind of in charge of the state at the time. Governor Huckabee was one that was stranded and not able to get back on 9-11. And then Sharon Priest was our Secretary of State. She's actually from Canada originally. She sure is. We talk shock and more than one occasion. Oh, good. This is a Canadian connection going on. Really is the perfect. You said this is going coast to coast. This is just the local producer, right? Yes, yes. We're doing it locally. I mean, it's the right time to remind people

50:23that these two countries are closer than maybe the two countries. There's no shift going on. Oh, my son plays hockey. It's for Oscar Chicago. Yes, for now. It's terrifying. I like that. Or Cheri for all my French Canadians out there. But anyways, so we're sitting up there and my son playing, he's playing AAA hockey up in Chicago. He got started here with the Little Rock aces. That's where he started playing hockey. Ghani Mark Scott is son. He played hockey here with the river blades back in the day. Anyways, so he's up there playing hockey in Chicago. I get this phone call. He goes, Dad, it's going to cost 650 bucks for a hockey stick. Yeah. It's like, you know, because Tara's put them up 50%. Mm-hmm. So it's funny. Anyways, my family all lives up in Canada. They still say, what's going on down there in the States? They listen, listen, listen. This will blow over. But we've been French for 100 years. Yeah. We were there. Second World War, Afghanistan, Korea, all the big things. We are your best friends. And you know, honestly, we think if you guys are a big brother, we just want to be part of the family. This little stuff that's going on right now, it'll pass. And sometimes we're going to give you a nougat now and again, doc. You know, rivalry. How do people get tickets? How much are they cheaper than a hockey stick in Canada right now?

Well, look, after the other day, I might be changing my tune. We went to the movies yesterday, two days ago. It was $80 for two people. Oh, you were telling. $80 for tickets and $40 for snacks. And I'm like, what are we doing? This is why we sneak it in. Yeah. I want to keep them in business because I think it's important that we have theaters, but at the same time,

52:27anyway. Well, come see a live theater. That's a hell of a deal. $5 popcorn. That's high. It won't cost you that. Terafree popcorn's the best kind of thing. That's right.
