Welcome to the Terrible Take, a daily segment telling Steelers Nation what's on our mind. I'm Alex Kazzora. Who are the final 14? That's what I'm asking myself. The final 14 names to be brought in for pre-traff visits by the Steelers. We know 16 of the list at least as of Thursday afternoon, either one's completed or one scheduled, but few of that bunch are first rounders. Washington wide receiver Denzel Boston is one and maybe Texas tech linebacker Jacob Rodriguez and San Diego state quarterback Chris Johnson, though the latter two are stretches, especially at number 21. That makes the final visitors even more critical. I imagine there will be plenty headline first round names now the pro days are effectively complete. Given that Mike McCarthy and Omar Khan only made it to Georgia's workout, there are plenty of prospects they've had limited or zero face time with. Even under a new head coach and maybe a different philosophy,

it's hard to believe the team will draft its first round pick without any meaningful time spent getting to know the person instead of just the player. That list of 14 may be added to by the time you listen to this terrible take. Visits end around mid-April so the group should start coming in fast Monday at the latest. If history serves as any indication, one of those final 14 visitors will be Pittsburgh's first round pick.
