We sift through several elements related to that depth chart and how much of it can be taken seriously. The Steelers have reportedly now made a contract offer to CB Joey Porter Jr. as of Tuesday, so Alex and I go over the piece of news. We discuss what common ground the two sides could end up with should an extension ultimately get finalized before Sunday. The Tampa Bay Buccaneers signed QB Baker Mayfield to a contract extension on Tuesday so Alex and I make sure to pass along that news on the heels of there being previous speculation that he could ultimately land in Pittsburgh in 2027. Steelers HC Mike McCarthy, in addition to the team's three coordinators, all spoke to the media on Monday, so Alex and I go over the main talking points that came out of those press conferences.
