The Newsroom's Favorite Ghost | Real Ghost Stories
About this episode
Every newsroom has that one person everyone counts on. At this small-town newspaper, that person was Charlie.
Even years after his death, the reporters still blamed Charlie whenever something disappeared, the lights flickered, or something impossible happened around the office. If a missing file suddenly turned up or an important item appeared just when someone needed it most, someone would smile, thank Charlie, and get back to work. No one questioned it. It was simply part of the newsroom.
The newest reporter assumed it was nothing more than an old tradition—a way of remembering a coworker everyone had loved and respected. Then one late night, racing to meet a deadline, Charlie seemed to help him too.
Suddenly, the stories everyone had been telling didn't seem like stories anymore.
