The New Look Senators & What’s Wrong With Buffalo?

Since the last episode of the podcast dropped, we’ve had yet another coaching change in the NHL as the Ottawa Senators fired DJ Smith in his fifth season with the team. Frank and Jason began the pod by breaking down the decision and talking about the timing of the move.

They also discussed the decision to bring in Jaques Martin and Daniel Alfredsson onto their bench. It’s obvious that Martin is a temporary replacement and Frank talked about whether or not he likes that move by Sens management. He also talked about some names who could be the eventual full-time Head Coach.

Tyler also had a new edition of Fill in the Blank ready for the guys. He got their take on the Devon Toews comments out in Colorado, Auston Matthews goal scoring heater, and how many true Stanley Cup contenders there are in the Eastern Conference.
