5:10The Dr. Catherine Albrecht Show. This is the Dr. Catherine Albrecht Show. It's Thursday and we are getting a little closer to fall. We actually had a tornado in my area yesterday in Michigan, in Southeast Michigan. What a crazy thing to have a tornado in August in the Midwest, the US is not an area known for tornadoes. By the grace of God, it spared my house, but left a wake of destruction and there is just crashing.

6:11I don't know. It feels like swords clashing in the heavens, coming in the form of rain and wind and another tornado warning. So sirens are blaring literally. You can hear them outside and lots of alerts coming up on the phone. Hopefully everything will be okay. I've been in a lot of prayer about that, but this is, and I'm going to be talking about acting today, so 20th century and acting as I promised Tuesday, but first I got to say something about this weather. The craziness in the weather, the strange occurrences that we are seeing more and more of are just the beginning. This is just the start because science is telling us that with the ocean temperatures rising to an unprecedented level that they've never seen before, that we are going to have weather disturbances, El Nino's and other weather disturbances, the likes of which we have never seen before, at least not in our lifetimes.

7:11So brace yourself because weather crazed weather patterns are coming. And it's interesting because I have been from my insurance company and elsewhere I've been getting notifications and alerts saying we have a new program in for X amount of money per month. You can be protected against these threats and risks, which are things that I've never really felt and need to be protected against before. And I'm actually really starting to take some of those seriously and think, yeah, maybe it is time to change my homeowner's insurance policy. Maybe it is time to update and include some of these threats that I've just never thought of before. So I need to check my policy and say, am I covered for it? Torinato? Like is that? Is that somehow an exclusion? I know when I lived in California that earthquake damage is a separate attachment that you have to put on your insurance for many homeowners policies because if you don't have it, then you and suffer earthquake damage.

8:11Well, I guess you're out of luck because you didn't pay for it. So these are the sorts of things, depending on where you live in the country. And I think every part of the country has its risks. That is flooding or earthquakes or droughts or hurricanes or tornadoes or who knows what your area is, maybe wildfires. Take a second look at your policy, look at your local weather and make sure that you're protected, that the things you care about and your life, what essentially your assets and your ability to move forward in the future if something terrible were to happen is covered. So I just wanted to throw that out there and say that we'll be talking more about this is more and more events unfold. But with flooding and the grand canyon and flooding in Nepal and major cities across the southwest growing concerned that they're not going to have enough water in their reservoirs for not only irrigation.

9:14It's a lease of their concerns, but actually for survival for people to be able to take hours and drink water and grow crops and survive. We may be seeing some real shifts in terms of population as we continue to decimate the planet. So as I said on Tuesday, if you did not get my encouraging message on Tuesday, if you didn't listen to that, I encourage you to tune in and head over to the Republic Broadcasting Network website and make sure that you listen to the archives of my Tuesday show because I talked about the fact that all of this, the ice caps melting and the penguins, you know, vanishing and we don't need to be ringing our hands over this as Christians because we know that this is not our world and there is a new earth and a new heaven which are coming our way and all the good stuff will be restored without any of the bad stuff that we have been struggling through and waiting through like luck for our entire lives.

10:15All the good stuff will be here, none of the bad stuff. So it's all good. It's just a period of time that we're going to have to get through some rough stuff and we can do it if we keep our eyes on Jesus because he foretold this. We know the prophets all the way back to the earliest prophets in the Old Testament have foreseen and told us about these days. So nothing is happening that Jesus is not entirely in control of. Nothing is being allowed to occur that he is not aware of and this is all the result of free will, right? This is humanity's free will saying we want, we want. I'm just going to put a period there. We want the wants of humankind unbalanced by just concern for the planet and I would say concern for God overall and submission to his just bending our knee to his sovereignty

11:18and his immense goodness and his incredible provision for us. When we try to do it on our own, well this is the what you get. He told us, if you guys do that, this is what you're going to get. Here we are. So all right, well enough of that. Please say a prayer for my part of Michigan and indeed all the other parts of the globe that are dealing with the aftermath of disasters or coming disasters or just whether phenomenon which are kind of scary. I have friends in Pennsylvania and Arkansas and elsewhere who also have had tornado warnings recently. Also places that don't normally get tornadoes. You think of Kansas, right? With our vies, you think of Dorothy out there and the tornado shelters and there are parts of the country that you expect tornadoes and other parts that it's like, what is this? So. All right. As promised, I want to talk about the events of the 1900s, the 20th century, from the

12:19turn of the century up until the end of that century, 1999 and up through where we're living currently in 2026. How everything sequentially piece by piece built one block onto another to get us to the point where we are now. And let me quickly just give you an overview of what I believe the point we are at now in society. We have removed God. We have removed faith in Jesus Christ from the public sphere. Now it never, according to the Constitution of the U.S. it was never intended. We have separation of church and state, right? Right there in our bill of rights and we Congress can enact no law about the, you know, favoring one religion over another or prohibiting a religion or really having anything to do with religion at all. But the fact that our government can't do that does not mean that we can't do that. Doesn't mean that we have to abandon our faith.

13:19Doesn't mean that we have to be religionless. It simply means that the government has to give us the freedom to have as much religion as we choose to in our own lives. And there's been a lot of confusion, I think, around that issue that the government has to maintain a strictly atheistic view about everything. That is one of the developments that came about in the 1950s, 60s, 70s and has just progressed a pace is to remove all mentions of religion or mentions of God from the schools. Some people are trying to turn that around and not sure how good idea that is. That's a topic for another show. I will say that unprecedented numbers of Americans when asked, do you believe in God? When asked, does God play a role in your life? Does your religious faith play a role in your life? An unprecedented number of people are saying no.

14:20No, I mean, atheist, I don't care. Or I'm a Christian in the same way that I am Caucasian or I am Asian ancestry or whatever it might be. More is an identity label than an actual belief system that informs how they are living their lives. And that has very severe consequences. One of the things that religion does to protect a population and protect an individual in their lives is giving them prohibitions and putting that pretty plainly. People don't like to hear that in America because we've held freedom to do whatever of the heck you want up to the highest pillar of value in our society. But it's not a governmental prohibition. It's a moral prohibition that says there are certain things that if you do them, you'll pay a price for them. There are certain ways that you can become immoral. There are certain wrong practices that you can engage in. And though they might be legal, they're going to have bad fallout for you, for your

15:23family, for your loved ones. And if everyone practices them, they're going to have tragic fallout for your entire society. And so that is what we're also living under is the pretty much wholesale abandonment of any kind of breaks on our behavior. The idea, well, in the legalization of marijuana and other talking about the legalization, of course, they tried it in Oregon, the legalization of hard drugs. And now they're discussing legalizing psychedelic drugs and hallucinogens. All of that, it may be legal, but in a Christian worldview, people would say, well, that's not a good idea. That's not a good idea to go into other realms of mental consciousness. It's not a good idea to cast about in the spirit world and go and have ayahuasca ceremonies in South America with shamans who are worshipping different entities and summoning those entities.

16:27That's just a bad idea. That's not a good idea at all. And the other, one of the other key prohibitions is the prohibition against engaging with the occult. And now we've got tarot cards and Ouija boards and occult movies and people clasting spells and following Wica and doing all sorts of things.
