The Dark Truth About AI Workflows

In today's episode, I am going to be talking about the torque truth about AI adoption. Plenty of people marketed as if you want to incorporate AI into your company, everything is going to be easier. They're going to say, what used to take you three hours to do, nowadays you can just do in five minutes. That is somewhat true. There are going to be a lot of things that are easier to do, but at the same time, there are going to be a lot of problems that are introduced. For example, when I was trying to bring in AI workflows into the Amonitex brand, I noticed that it saved me a lot of time, but then it would open up a brand new can of worms.

1:00For example, something small, I would normally put CTAs at the end of my podcast episode descriptions, so I would program the AI to say, whenever I am telling you that I am uploading an episode into SoundCloud, I want you to get the CTAs ready, so I don't have to go into my Microsoft Word document and manually copy and paste it. Then AI was like, sure, I could do that, and then when it was time to do that, it wouldn't do that. It would give me something completely different. So for the next 10 minutes, I'm over here yelling at the AI until eventually it's able to do it, but it doesn't even give me what I want. It gives me missing information, which was not good. That's when I realized that yes, AI helps you in many ways, but it takes you back a couple of steps. I would still say that this is good because all data is good data, eventually the more that you're

2:01yelling at AI and you're saying, no, this is not what I want, the more that AI eventually learns, just understand that in the beginning everything is not going to be working out as you expect. Sure, you're going to get fooled. There's going to be certain things that have worked out brilliantly, but then there are going to be other tasks which seem easy, but they're not working out as you expect it.
