3:02What would you say to those who are critical of Dan Orlovsky's opinion analysis of Ty Simpson over Fernando Mendoza? Yeah. Look, I talked to Dan quite a bit after that thing that he said with Ty Simpson over text. He's just explained to me. I'm like, dude, you don't have to explain to me. You have an opinion and you're one of the few people that watches every single snap. There's quite a few that are out there. But then to be able to regurgitate it to the public. Here's where I told him that he was a little bit untrue. And when he went on the Pat McAfee show, because I have no issue whatsoever. And I told Dan that's to his face. Like I like that. Like I tend to agree. Like I think Ty Simpson's way closer to QB1. I don't think he's QB1. Maybe he is QB3. But here's where I went and got on him a little bit because we're friends.

4:04I said, you said to millions of people out there, whether social media, Pat McAfee show, whatever, that Mendoza didn't play in any big games. I'm like, I'm like, Dan, did you see his college football playoff run? Did you see him against the number one defense in the nation in the big 10 championship game? And then he went on to be like, I'm like, no, Dan, you don't understand. 10 touchdowns, one interception during those four games. It is the greatest, one of the greatest runs that we've seen in history. Plus you did it with Indiana against blue bloods. I mean, that was a row of teams. And so I think that's probably, I don't really care. There's a lot of people. I've talked to some teams. I talked to a few teams last night that have Simpson over Mendoza. And that's fine. But we just got to understand that quarterback evaluation sort of a crapshoot. I appreciate Dan in his opinion and the platform that he's given.

5:07And I think it's absolutely ridiculous that people are saying Dan's represented by CAA. Ty Simpson's represented by CAA. Look, I don't play any attention to that. I just got on to Dan for him saying Mendoza didn't play any big games. What is Ty Simpson do better than Fernando Mendoza? Yeah, I think he's a more natural thrower of the football. Like when you talk to that mean. Yeah. And when I talk to people in the league still or former players who are analysts, it just like his throwing motion, his mechanics from the ground up just look beautiful, Dan. Like yesterday in his pro day, it was like everything you would ever teach a young kid on how to throw a football. This is what you want it to look like. And so Mendoza is a little bit more robotic. I think Mendoza has a little bit of a stronger arm. And so when you're throwing it and you're watching it in shorts, you're going to be like,

6:08man, like look, I get Mendoza 65. I get Ty Simpson 6162. But like people who have played the position, I think more so gravitate toward that and get lost in that. Although that's not that's not even remotely all of the evaluation. But when I watch him, I feel the same thing. I'm like, man, he's really, really good within the pocket. Got really good mechanics. Now he's only played 15 games and I saw you're taken. I thought it was right a couple days ago. I'm like, you want your quarterback to have more than 15 starts. Like I totally agree with you, right? But you watch the quality of those starts at the beginning of the year. And I've said this before and I don't think this is a reach. And you can go back and look on my ex account for its year or whatever and pull this up. Because like I said, when Ty Simpson, after like, I think the Missouri game, which was game eight or nine of his season, I'm like, there's nobody playing better in college football. Like he is locked in to like a very high top pick.

7:09And he is probably going to win the Heisman if he continues it. That's not being facetious. That's not being hot take. That's not being clickbait. Like you just watch it. And it's like, wow. And then all of a sudden, it's like a huge drop off in play. Yes, he got sick. Yes, right. Yes, he got hurt a little bit. The offensive line didn't play very well. No run game. And then the last four or five games, he really struggled. Got a lot of happy feet. And I think if you're taking Ty Simpson in the draft and that's the number one thing that you have to ask. And I've talked to teams that have asked, like, what happened? Was it just because you were sick? Was it just because you were down to 185 pounds? He just looked like a completely different player. That's my issue on why Ty Simpson's not quarterback one. There was a massive drop off in play. Where would Tom Brady's arm today rank among the starting quarterbacks? Wow. You know, for me, I never thought of Tom Brady as like this, like, huge arm type guy, like John L.A.

8:14Right? I would say it probably be middle of the pack. I mean, that's not what Brady was ever going to win you with. Brady was always going to win you with his brain and his arm. And I feel like I'm getting back into a little bit of a hole right here. Because I'm like, well, Brady, like, he's like not this strong. The goat for sure, but there's, and I think this is a good point because it's like there's so much more to playing quarterback than looking good in shorts, like I said with Ty Simpson. And I think that's where Fernando Mendoza really crosses that line for me as quarterback one. Yeah, but I was bringing up Brady because he played in that flag football and he still looks good, man. For a guy who's what, what is he, 48 now? Yeah, he's unbelievable. I mean, he's still, he's still slinging it. He really is. Still got it, man. We're talking to Chase Daniel, ESPN NFL college football analyst. You know, we, we look at this draft. It's not a sexy draft. You got, you know, Mendoza is going one.

9:15The curiosity is Jeremiah Love is the top five pick. And then you're going to have Ty Simpson. Other than that, you got, you know, a few wide receivers, some edge rushers there. But I'm curious about your philosophy of drafting a running back. And I don't, I don't look at Jeremiah Love as a running back. I just look at him as an influencer. Like he's, he's going to be out there returning kicks, catching passes, and he can hit home runs. Would you take him in the top five? If you're Tennessee, do you take him if he's there? Yeah. That's where it gets interesting for me. I think you have to really look at taking an offensive weapon for a cam ward. Because I like for the most part what cam ward put on tape. Now it was a tough season, a lot of change, a lot of all this. He just doesn't have any weapons. And I would agree with you. There's not many backs out there that do the type of things that Jeremiah Love does. I just think he's a really, really good prospect. And a really, really like shallow draft class of like top tier talent.

10:20Right. And then you're going to get a lot of pressure. You've got the quarterback really one. That's in the top five in my opinion. So then you're thinking, well, you know, do you want to get an edge? I don't think an offensive tackle necessarily goes in the top five. And so I think you're sort of backing yourself into Jeremiah Love. Here's what's interesting to me is like his contract's not going to be that much compared to Seikwang Barkley or compared to all these other guys. If you take him in, you get him for five years in the first round regardless. But if you can have a guy that can come in and be a free down back. I think he's a lot better blocker than people give him credit for. I think he's really good out of the backfield. Like there's no way he's going to make it there. But like the Saints to me make a ton of sense. Because like I was with Alvin Kamara when Sean Peyton drafted him. Now, I don't think they're the same player. I think Love's a little bit bigger. But he can have that kind of impact that early on out of the backfield catching the ball. And just the type of person he is, I would absolutely be interested in taking him if I'm Tennessee Titans.

11:23Is there a third quarterback? Yeah, look, that is the thousand dollar question, man. Because when you look at it, it's like for me at least, right? It's like my opinion is like Mendoza and Simpson. And I do think they're close. I think Mendoza's one, I think Simpson is two. And then to me, there's a huge drop off to where it's maybe, maybe end of day two, beginning of day three. And that person to me would be their Garrett Nussmeyer or Jurella. Now Garrett Nussmeyer to me is an interesting one because he's a little bit, you know, coaches kid. He's going to interview well. He's going to look good in shorts. Watch the film this past year. Yes, I know he was hurt, yes, it just wasn't very good. You go back two years ago in 2024 and you're watching, you're like, okay, like I can see some traits of a high quality backup. Maybe in the right scheme and right fit.

12:24If you have to play, you can be successful. And then Drew Aller, I mean, to me, like I really like them two years ago, but he's probably the most frustrating prospect I've watched in the past couple of years. He's going to take down quarterbacks because he has all the traits in the world. Like you look at him just physically, Dan, and you would have said in 2024, I mean, this is what I want my guy to be made of. And then you watch the film, you're like, what are you doing? Like there's these dope plays here and there that you're just like, ah, and it shares a sentiment of some NFL teams I've talked to with it. But like if you have good coaching and if you feel really good about developing, I'm not going to say he's going to come in and play right away. But if you develop him high level backup, can be a starter. And then obviously like Carson Beck, I think like there's, there's hit or miss on him. It's just a really, it's like if you want to back up quarterback after Tyson sent him and dozo, this is possibly your draft. How does Kyler Murray work in Minnesota? Yeah, that's a great one.

13:24I really like it a lot to be honest with you. I think the second that, you know, KOC signed Kyler and then resigned Carson Wentz. Like I just think JJ McCarthy is going to be quarterback three and could be, you know, on the move in the draft if someone will take him. Like I just, I don't think his, as far as, as, you know, JJ McCarthy goes, I think it's time with Minnesota sort of probably done. Now with Kyler, here's what is really good about Kyler because I like the way he plays. But he's very much, I want to do it myself type quarterback. Right? So like I'm going to put it all on me. I'm going to do all this. He doesn't have to do that anymore. Like you look at the offensive system. He's going to plus the playmakers around him. If KOC can get him to just be like, hey, just throw an out route to the field on time. You don't want to take his stinger away by scramble, but like just throw a three step pitch. Let's just, let's just move the ball down the field. He's never done that. But with Kyler, it makes a lot of sense. You're getting him for $1.3 million.

14:25But he can turn his career around. I mean, he really could. And the fact that he's going to a guy like KOC, man, I really like it. Great to talk to you as always. Thanks for joining us. I think my teammates, they were, they're like, you're getting this record tonight. So they had my support and they really wanted me to break it. So it was a really cool moment, man. How much could you score in a game? The 59 was pretty exhausting. I don't know. I don't know how much more I could do than that. So I'd probably say that's close to my limit.

20:46So you can't go 83 like bam out of bio. I haven't done it yet, man. I don't know. That's incredibly impressive. I think no matter what the situation is. So that was really cool. What are you told? Because we see your abilities, but what do teams tell you when you get a 10 day contract or you're brought up for a little while, and then you go back to the G league? Yeah, it's kind of different in every situation, you know. I think, you know, being in the situation where you're fighting to find a roster spot, you, different teams need different things. So whatever it is, I try to adapt and do that, you know. And it's, it's been tough, man. A lot of times I've, I've been told, you know, you're an NBA player like a coach I had actually one year. You know, being on a two way, you're at the bottom of the roster. You made the roster, but you're kind of the guy that goes back and forth and had a coach tell me one year, he's like, man, you're an NBA player. Like, all you need is an opportunity. And like, almost like was laughing. I was like, well, you got to give me the opportunity. But really, I'm just trying to make the most

21:48of whatever this situation is. It's, it's tough, man. Well, you hear about, you don't play defense, or you're not good at playing defense. You're not good off the ball. Like, these are things that have been said. Are those fair, those fair criticisms? Um, you know, my two games this year, when I got called up at the beginning of the year, where I got legit minutes. I was actually leading the league and still. So I don't know if I agree with that totally. So, um, it's tough. There's always going to be something, man. I feel like that's the thing I've been trying to do. And the Geely is just show like, oh, you said this wasn't that. Well, that's not the case. And some people are always going to say certain things, man. But I've really got a lot of love and respect from, you know, peers in the league that I really appreciate. And coaches in the league that I really looked up to. So I think just, just trying to find that opportunity in that right situation there. What was your welcome to the NBA moment? Um, I would say with the, with the Lakers, that was where I started. And that team was LeBron, Carmelo, Rondo, Dwight Howard.

22:51And I was just like, I'm this kid from this small town against sitting up like, what am I in some video game right now? So that, that was shocking. And something I had to adjust to for a couple of days. Did you get to keep the uniform? Yeah, absolutely. I always, always try to make sure I keep that and have it, you know, some of my kids, hopefully, can see it one day. Do you introduce yourself to LeBron? Or does he say hello to you? Um, I would, I definitely introduced myself. And, um, yeah, I don't think he, uh, in that situation, he would ever have to introduce himself to me. So, you know, it was an honor being in just a part of that and getting to see some things. But are you star struck on the floor when you're playing? Like, I'm guarding this guy that I grew up watching. Did you have that moment? I think in my first year, you know, you just adjusted that. I think at the end of the day, we're all competitors and you want to win. And you kind of flip that switch once you get on the floor. But you, there's a level of respect, you know, when you're a little kid and you watch someone and they mean something to you, they make you love the game that you're always going to have for those people.

23:53Do you think, uh, you're too good at dunking that it overshadowed you as a basketball player that maybe you were looked at as he does that and not maybe being fair to your actual basketball game? I think that, that could be, um, maybe something from the outside of I, but like these scouts and these teams, like, their job is to know basketball players. So I think anybody that like knows basketball, like, that is just something I got to be a part of. And I'm incredibly grateful for I lean into it. You know, like, that was such a cool thing that I got to do. There's, I'm never going to be like, oh man, I hate dunking now because of that. Like, that's a beautiful part of my life. And I think, you know, the people that really love basketball and basketball, like, that's just a part of me. That's not really who I am. He's Mac McClung, the Wendy City Bulls. Uh, but why not be in the slam dunk contest this year? Um, well, they, uh, quite friendly. They didn't really want me in it this year. So that was, it was like, uh, they wanted me in it. And then some things happened.

24:54And, uh, you know, it kind of just went back and forth. And at the end, they kind of didn't want me in the contest. So I'd already prepared. That's why I released those don'ts on the social media because I'd already prepared. And I was like, well, you know, I teamed up with a, uh, a company marketing. And I was like, well, I'm not as well-made to most of this. But I'm just, was it, you weren't on a roster? Is that why they didn't want you in the slam dunk contest? No, I, I made the Chicago Bulls roster, um, a, uh, maybe a, a little bit before that. So, um, I don't know. They told me that it was, it was just a, it was a weird situation. And I think they, they said a couple guys didn't want to do it if I was in it. And I was like, okay, well, I don't want to ruin that. And, uh, wait. Why, why, why wouldn't they want to be in there? Because they, you were going to win? I don't know, man. I feel like a, these, a lot of these guys are really talented. So, that wouldn't make sense to me. I mean, a lot of things in this league don't make sense. A lot of time. I'm just going with the flow, man.

25:54I really am. Just going with the flow. How would you do Michael Jordan in his prime? You, in your prime, slam dunk contest. That's a tough question, Dan. I think, um, uh, the times have changed, like, kind of like in the game at basketball. Like, everything progresses. So, I think if Michael Jordan was in this era, he would probably have so much different dunks and so many creative things. So, I mean, I would, I think I'd be a little crazy to say I'd take over MJ like that, man. So, and I got a lot of, so much respect and love for him. I would never say that I'd beat him. But it'd be fun. I would, I would definitely take the challenge. It'd be a lot of fun. Have you met him? No, never met MJ before. Um, it'd be super cool though. Can you leave from the foul line? Um, my, my best jumps are off two feet. When I was in high school, man, when I was, when I was younger, uh, I used to be. That wasn't that long ago, Matt. It feels like it. I've really had three years to every one of you.

26:54You were, you were really, you got, you got the like viral famous in high school. It was like Zion Williamson. This guy, you know, everybody wanted to see those videos. Like, did you feel like a star when you were in high school? That was some crazy, crazy times. Um, I was, I was in a town of 1500 people. So everybody already kind of knew me. And it was the cool part about it was when we would travel to different schools. They would like school would like shut down early because people would be outside waiting for the games. And it kind of felt like we were the kind of like this band that was traveling. It was like me and my best friends, man. It was such a cool experience. And, you know, you go on YouTube and like, oh, I got two million views last night. It's just, it was, it was so weird being from a small town and like getting out of tension, man. But it was really cool for me and my friends. So it was boy band. You were like, uh, you know, new kids on the block or one dimension. What is it? One direction? Yeah, we weren't that cool. But we really did make us feel good.

27:56Uh, so what's the future? What are you 27? 27 years old. Um, the future for me, man, I'm not sure. I've really like kind of going back to this situation and the record and my glee career. Like all I've tried to do, I've all tried to do is, is make the most of wherever I'm at in that moment. And whether that be the don't contest, the opportunity I was given with that or being in the glee. I've just tried to make the most of the situation. So I'm not attached any outcome, but just whatever happens is I really truly believe I'm not a victim of anything, man. So whatever happens is, is, is how I supposed to be. Official height and weight. I'm measured. I have to come out. I measured six to one eighty five. Okay. Maybe it looks better when you're shorter. Like if you're six six doing that, it's not as impressive. Yeah. Maybe I maybe wish I was six six. That would probably give me a if you're six six, you're not winning the slam dunk contest, but you're playing in the NBA.

Maybe this time of year. Everyone knows that everyone's watching. So the referees also got to be careful that they don't give me a week technical. Oh, I hope I didn't jinx you here for tomorrow night.

34:02Yeah, Mick Cronin got one for clapping. Yeah, I was pleasantly surprised. I didn't know what the obviously the prop bets were. I'm sure there were lots of them on. I don't know what I went off at, but somebody wants some money. Are you now Dan Hurley like Danny Hurley is that that's a previous life? No, I think maybe when I get in my 60s, I'll go back to Danny when I want to feel younger because I'm old. Maybe 70s. I'll go back to Danny. Okay. All right. I know that you reached out to a lot of people when you considered the Lakers job. You reached out to Tom Iso who you faced tomorrow night. What did Coach say? Because I know he was thinking about going to the Cavaliers. What was that? That LeBron left the Cavaliers. He was going to win in coach. So what advice did he give you on the Lakers job? Yeah. Coach Iso, he walked me through just his thought process when he went through the decision making of making that move to the NBA and the pros and cons.

35:17And he obviously, at that time, college was very different. And the point that coach had made to me was, I think he really got to consider it our sport right now. It's someone regulated at such a mess that I would have considered this more now than I did back when college basketball was more regulated. So I, but I, you know, coaches have been there for me on lots of different things. You know, and I've studied coach for a long time. Like I have all the great coaches, you know, I studied, you know, their films as a high school coach trying to learn, you know, favorite practice drills of Tom Iso, anything on motivation and leadership culture building. You know, I've studied all the great coaches and taken advice from all the great ones. Can you see yourself coaching at his age? Can't see myself coaching at his age, but I also can't see myself not coaching.

36:19You know, like with your part of teams, and this is so much for a part of your identity, I always say to myself, I can't believe these guys are coaching in their 70s. Yeah. But then, you know, then you find yourself coaching in your 70s. Like Patino. I mean, he's alive. I mean, these guys are, it's incredible to me, you know, like it really is the energy level. How they, you know, the thing about college, you know, college coaching college basketball is like the, you know, the head coach drives the organization. I mean, they drive it, drive it, drive it, and are pushing everyone around them to the max. And, you know, obviously, you know, with the amount of years those guys put in and what they achieved and to still be pushing that hard in their 70s, incredible. Can you be outcoached? I think that's a little bit of a whoever won the game, outcoached the other guy thing. You know, I think, I think it's more about matchups, especially this time of the year. You know, you've got great coaches, coach and all 16 of these teams.

37:21Yeah, when it all comes down, I think matchups, who's playing their best at this time of year, half time adjustments and all that stuff. I think it's way, way overrated. Talking to Dan Hurley, the Connecticut basketball coach, they got Michigan State tomorrow night. St. John's getting a five seed after winning the big east is blank. Crap. You know, I mean, I mean, you know, crap. And then having the, you know, the two big east teams, you know, in the same region, you know, it's probably the same. Do you think that they were hoping that there would be a rematch? The committee. Yeah, I mean, I think that they're definitely the committee. They got a weird sense of humor or they do a great job of trying to give the people what they want. And I think no matter how this weekend's up in, you know, in DDC, you're going to get an elite eight game.

38:22You know, it's going to be, you know, it's going to be incredible when you've got, you know, Duke, you know, Rick Patino and St. John's Yukon and Michigan State. I had somebody ask me this and I didn't know if they were joking. And I realized they weren't, they said, can Yukon be a Cinderella story as a two seed? I go, no. Well, I'll ask you, are you a Cinderella story this year? No, I don't think so. We've been, you know, consistently, you know, consistently great the whole year. You know, we haven't always, you know, we haven't performed in the championship moments. So it'll be interesting to see how we respond this week. But, you know, we played or we had as good a non-conference wins as anyone in the country. And then we went 19 and three in the big east. So, you know, and then we won our first two, you know, first two tournament games by double figure points. I do think we're, you know, we're kind of coming in, you know, a lot quieter than we did in 23 and 24. And that's probably serves us pretty well.

39:24I'm curious about the future of the mid major here, Dan. Because I don't know if these last two years are an aberration or is that the future of the blue bloods are going to take over. And mid majors are not going to be what they used to be. Yeah, well, I definitely think that, you know, I think it's going to get tougher for mid mid majors because I think more high majors are going to spend more money in this off season. So I think it's going to get even tougher. I think to make the NCAA tournament. And then I think it's going to be tougher for the mid majors, but then I also on the flip side. I think you're going to see in even more international players coming into college basketball. I just think the inventory is going to grow as it makes more sense for international players that can make more money in college in America. And then I think it is just going to create more inventory of talent that the mid major, you know, ends up with with better players and they could maybe win more of these early conference games.

40:29But I wonder, though, if you would rather get a transfer who has proven or you got a high school kid. I mean, in a perfect world, I'd rather have the high school kid. And I think the way that we try to do it is a majority of our team we want is homegrown boys that we developed a relationship with. We have a culture. We got a real connection. You got a real fabric of a team. And it's supplement with what you need in the portal or at least, you know, in most cases have multiple years with the transfer. So it doesn't feel so transactional and then feel like you've just put together a mercenary squad. What's the most money somebody has asked you for? Four and a half million, I think. How does that conversation go? It doesn't actually go on with me because I'll meet with the agents to talk about the vision for the player.

41:29You know, on the official visit with the transfer or the high school player, they could sit in on, you know, how we plan to develop the player. How do we use them in the system? But once we get to, you know, any type of negotiating that just goes to the GM, Tom Moore. And then he just kind of walks in and out of the boardroom telling me where the negotiations going. And then, you know, yeah, I try to stay out of that. I don't, you know, the negotiations get personal. How would you do coaching the Yukon women's team and how would Geno do well coaching the men's team? Well, I think, you know, Geno would obviously do better coaching the men's team. I went to coaching the women because you know, you know, because Geno's maybe the best coach of all time. So, I would be, I don't, I would be more relaxed. Obviously, I wouldn't be, I would enjoy, I don't know, they've won 27 or 30 games this year by 25 points or more.

42:33I don't know how I would handle that. I don't know what type of stress I would create. And, you know, what type of tension can I create there? It would probably make me crazy. I would long for a brutal loss at some point. You would probably consult your wife a lot more. I would, yeah, she would, yeah, she'd have a lot to say too. And she'd be constantly monitoring me. You would have to find somebody to yell at. And it'd be hard to find somebody to yell at on the women's team. It would be an, you know, and I don't know, I, I, are the officials are mostly female. Or, I mean, it's, it was half and half, you know, I just, it'd be an adjustment for a different world. Will you watch the games tonight? Yeah, you know, we'll keep these guys up and do, do video. It's, you know, the games could start for us close to nine. But, but last week we played it at, I think we started our first round game at 10 30 Eastern time.

43:37So our body clock is used to play in late at night. But yeah, I mean, only in years that I get eliminated early, do I not watch? I, I, you know, I, I refuse. I, I, I, I boycott the tournament in years where, where we're not in contention. Yeah, I understand that. Why, why put yourself through the agony of watching somebody and you go, we're better than them. Yeah, and it's like, you know, when you're a little kid or something, and if you didn't get invited to a birthday party or a pool party, or something in your neighborhood, and then what are you going to do go up to the fence and listen to the kids splash around the water? No one's doing that. Is there something you're, you want to tell me that you didn't get invited to the pool parties in the neighborhood? Did anybody have a pool in Jersey city? Yes. There was one. There was one up at the top of the block, right down a couple of houses down from Darren Savino, buddy of ours, coaches at UCLA. And there was literally one pool in, in this like probably two block radius.

44:40And on the way to the park where my, where my dad and mom would put us through the drills. Me and my brother, the jump rope, the ball handling drills, the shooting drills in the heat of summer. We had to kind of dribble past that pool while they were splashing around barbecuing, listening to music in like June, July, August. So no scars. Yeah, but how many titles did those people win? I mean, I don't think, I don't think they, uh, sports wasn't their deal. Wait, wait, what's your mom putting you through drills with your dad? Yeah, because during a week, my dad, you know, he was a probation officer. You know, so during the summer, my dad didn't teach it's an Anthony. So he didn't get the summers off. So, you know, either me and Bob would write up the plan for today or my dad would have the workout written out. Do you be brown box drills? The agility warm up. I mean, we would make chalk, you know, exes on the court.

45:41So we could do our agility work. My mom would have a whistle and she would put us through the paces as the neighbor, as people would be looking out at us in astonishment neighbors. So your dad probation officer, I'm going to guess pretty tough to get away with stuff in the, in your teens. Yeah, scared. I mean, yeah, you knew, I mean, he, uh, just going up in Jersey City, you know, the things that he did, uh, just as a kid that was raised on the street and, uh, as an outside dog, not an indoor dog. And, uh, I mean, he, uh, you know, and then being a probation officer, kind of driving around with him when he would go on house calls, trying to find. Uh, yeah, I guess his clients that had not come in to take, uh, you know, the, the urine test or what have you just seeing grown men scramble as the Dodge Caravan was driving down Martin Luther King drive, you know, you, you, you know, you can't get away with stuff.

46:41But I wonder that had you been raised in the suburbs as opposed to where you're raised. How different would you be or would you be different as a person as a coach player? I would be a lot different. I, I think the, you know, the advantage of growing up, you know, where we grow up, growing up in the city, growing up in North Jersey, Jersey City. You know, I just think you, you've got a real versatile, uh, relatable way about you. Uh, you know, you feel like you could, you know, communicate with a, with a very diverse group of people from all different types of backgrounds. I mean, Jersey City, I, I think next to Queens is the most diverse city in America. So, uh, you know, it's, you develop, uh, you know, a connection to all people, you're comfortable out on the street corner, but you're also, you develop a comfort ability. Uh, uh, in the boardroom. Great to talk to you. Do you have big plans for today?

47:43Uh, just, uh, the final prep. I mean, this is actually a good time of your day because the practices are short. Uh, the hay is in the barn and, uh, and you feel a lot less pressure this year. You feel like getting to this weekend, you're back in contention. You're, you know, you're playing one of the best teams in the country in Michigan State. Uh, you know, let, let's, uh, it feels like a lot of pressure is off. Let's, uh, let it go rip. Did you just come on because you were bored today? Yeah, I do. I need time, filling.
