This is an I Heart Podcast. Guaranteed Human. I believe that whoever was in that room and did that was a murderer. A new podcast series, Fault Line Haditha, tells the story of a shocking crime and a cover-up at the highest levels of the United States Marine Corps. If you've got five players and you offer immunity to four, you better be right about the fifth because if you're not, then you've just given immunity to your color. Listen to Fault Line Haditha on the I Heart radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. I believe that should be categorized as rude. This is one more thing. I'm strong and getty. One more thing. One of your rare Katie hosted one more thing podcast before we get to whatever that is. So everybody seems to be uncomfortable with this topic of my current physical condition
as I have not done that in four days and counting. There are ads forward on television all the time. It's clearly a common situation. Right? When I was a kid, I was always like, why are there so many ads for this? I remember watching sitcoms. The old guys had always be like, you know, fist bumping or, hey, I did it today. You know, like, really is that me? What? It's not common enough for you to go, oh, this is common. I'll just let it happen when it happens. No, you need to keep an eye on it. All right. Well, it's uncomfortable. And I am starting to get to concerned. I think it was, I think it's been since the last weekend. It was five days last Thursday that you hadn't. Not a good weekend, but since then, but so Joe said we're getting lots of emails, stuff like that. Is there a common theme on the remedies? Probably fight or is a common theme. Yeah, hammer down some mirror laks in this and that.
Hey, warm prune juice. I swear to all that is holy you will. That was what I did when I was pregnant. I should try them all because it might be everybody's body is a little different and one remedy works really great for one person, not other. I'm doing the mirror laks, which is what chat GBT suggested. I'm doing the max dosage every day all week long. So mirror laks takes 24 hours to react to your body is what it says on it for I've been doing it every day for several weeks. So go get the not like the prune juice extract, but like the glass bottle 100% prune juice and warm it up for like 30 seconds in the microwave and drink that and be near a bathroom. Yes. I will try that. Joe's disgusted with his conversation like it's like it's not part of the human boss like peasants right now. I just see our demographic going entirely 80 plus. I mean, well, or pregnant women. Hey, here's another one. Tell Jack to mix one tablespoon of baking soda and eight ounces of water drinking within 30 minutes.
He will have a clean down system. Well, what are 30 minutes? Curb Louis. I'm wondering if people aren't confusing hiccup remedies with this. Stand on your head and drink water with a spoon in your mouth. Wrong. That's the hiccups. All right. Here's the colon cleanse given to Vanessa by her doctor for caps and mirror laks and eight ounces of water. Repeat four hours later. If no movement by morning repeat again, you will go then at least one cap of mirror laks every day and something you drink and stool soften her every day. It will keep you regular. Ask me how I know. So those that some people say that you shouldn't use that stuff because it throws off your system. It does. Recent research says that's not true. I don't know, but I'd hate to do any permanent damage to myself. Hold on. Magnet next to your belly. Now that's how to tell if it's a boy or a girl. No. So I can tell you from recent pregnant issues, mirror laks does mess with your like regular routine.
Oh, I don't want that. So of course my regular routine is, you know, once it's done, it's done. That's a pretty cool moon. Jack, if you're going to be home all day, warm prune juice, just hang out for like 20 minutes. You'll be fine. All right. Oh boy. Yeah. That's great. Well, I don't believe like you don't. Joe's pretending this is an old person thing, but I guess it's super common with anybody on GLP's and that's everybody. GL would prefer to discuss the magic of the free market versus collectivism. Not pooping. Use me. Entertaining. Where is it going for days? Save it like money. Okay. So what is your thing there? I'm collecting it. It's like it's Pokemon cards or something. Oh boy. All right. Here we go. This is, I mean, I feel like I'm beating a dead horse at this point because I've already talked about it. Breastfeeding. Mm hmm. I feel like now that I'm four, almost four months into this.
I feel like it's a rude question to ask a woman. Oh. Are you in what setting? Well, so like yesterday I'm at the gym and I brought Van with me and he's just hanging out in his little little stroller and everybody's owing and eyeing over him and this woman leans in and she goes, so you're breastfeeding him, right? And I looked at her and I said. And I still had a line. Well, but that's where I'm going with this is it's like for whatever reason. And this is a woman to woman thing. So you guys start whiskey only whiskey. Right. Yeah. By the way, I don't take care of your other problem too, but I did this bank in Jamison and he shuts up. That's what I do. No, but I guess this is like a woman to woman thing. So I'm putting it out there on the podcast right now. Ladies, that is that is rude as hell to ask another woman. She goes, so you're breastfeeding, right? And I said, no. And then, oh, why?
And now I have to go into like the whole, oh, my supply didn't come in and it's nobody's effing business. But that is like a regular question that you ask a new mom apparently memorize this. I don't discuss my private life with people I don't know. Yeah. Or you're an A whole. I mean, I know, I know, I know, I wish her like she's like in a clink. Like I work out with her all the time. And I wouldn't even ask my close friends that question. Right. And that's what I'm saying is it's like you don't ask about politics, religion, how much they make in life and don't ask a mom if she's breastfeeding. Like that's weird because when you do, if she is, oh, that's beautiful. That's so great. Your body's getting all the nutrients. And if she's not, oh, well, why? What happened to you? Are you okay? Let me send you this study. Yeah. And it just turns into this whole thing. And I had to tell her, you know what? I couldn't press feed.
My son has a tongue tie. I pumped for two months. And then my body decided, if you I'm not going to do this anymore. And the doctor said, don't worry about it. But for her, it was like, oh, well, you should continue, you should continue pumping. You should keep trying. I mean, I guess if you're not doing it, you don't know. But like, that's the most stressful thing on the planet. Yeah, I'm all through the early pregnancy, baby. The number of things people are willing to say or ask is pretty shocking. It is unreal. Develop a thick skin for it. They want to come down. They want to touch the baby. Yeah. Are you breastfeeding the baby? It's so unimaginable to me to violate somebody's privacy like that. I just, it's very difficult for me to get inside the head of somebody who would and even talk about how you would deal with that other than to say, I don't discuss that sort of thing with people. I don't know very well.
I think it's a, it's a girl thing. It's a woman thing. Like, you're part of that magical sacred club. So, Mendo, ask you. No, no, thank you. Actually, thank God. Thank God for the men of the world because they don't ask me that. But it's like this weird open door that shouldn't be open between women where they're like, oh, so, and like, let's dive into all your most personal, sorry, Hanson. Let's dive into all your most personal shit. And I don't know. It's a very bizarre world that I'm living in right now, but my son is just so cute. You got that going for you. Yeah. I had one more rude comment. I was talking to my son about this. So we meet this guy who's doing some work for me and his older guy. And we got on conversation about how long he's been doing. I said, how old are you? And he said, how old do you think I am? Which is a question. I don't have a question. That's not a dude. Yeah, I'm not fair. Dude's don't say that.
They just tell you how old they are. Chicks go with the how old do you think I am if you ask, which you shouldn't. Anyway, he said, well, we're about the same age. And then he said, I think we're the same age. And then when he announced his age, he told me, he said, oh, I thought you were way older than that. Why would you ever say that to anyone ever? I'm not offended. Part of being in this job is you see people. But I'm just amused by people that say things like that. It's just like, what, what result do you think you get from telling anybody at any age? Well, maybe when they're 12, but past 30 that I thought you were much older than that. Yeah. Thanks for that. A whole, whole, whole, whole. Cluelessness. But I, like I'm always asking, what else goes with that personality trait? Right. You would say that sort of thing to a random stranger. Right. So you just made their life less pleasant.
What's with, what's that? My mom taught me the best lesson when I was, I think I was in like seventh grade. I believe. And this one chick in my class came up to me and told, oh, Gladys is on point today. This one chick came up to me and told me that another chick in our grade didn't like me. And it hurt the hell out of my feelings. I don't handle confrontation well ever. And I didn't then. And I was really upset and I went home and I told my mom about it and she goes, what kind of person would tell you that? Right. Like what kind of person would go up to you and say, hey, Katie, Becky doesn't like you. Like what, what was that doing for that sort of person who is. Yeah. Yeah. That's a different kind of person and I'm glad I don't relate. I thought you're much older than that. No, I thought, well, are you blessed? Are you breastfeeding? You're not.
What? This job has been like a multi decade training course in developing a thick skin. Yeah. But I have this internal thing that I remember. I don't really have to try to remember anymore. I have in my brain a standard for whose opinion? Right. I care about even a little bit. Your judges as they call them in the therapy world. How do you say? Judges in your life, like my parents or judges, a very small group after that, very small. So that's like judges, you accept that they can play that role for you. Yeah. You care. Yeah. What they think. Okay. Intriguing. Yeah. Interesting. And yeah, there's a really, I have a really high standard partly because again, and a lot of you can't relate to this, but you encounter so many people who want to tell you not only their opinion of maybe the world, and that's always welcome, but their opinion of you.
Yeah. You look right. I mean, but I look thousands. How you sound, what you say. Yeah. And so, but you all can do that in your life. Think about, no, wait a minute. If I were to seriously consider whose opinion should affect me even a little bit, it would be a select group. I've got to have known you for a significant amount of time, and I have to respect you. Because if I don't respect somebody, what the hell do I think? What they care what they think. So I hope that helps folks. If there's one thing I could give to teenagers that I'm raising is the not caring what other people think that you get when you're older. It just seems so ridiculous to care what the people think about this or that, but you know what? It's part of the white thing, I guess. I'm, I'm quote unquote older, and sometimes I just get this wild anxiety over nothing about something that I might have said three days ago to somebody that really doesn't matter. It's weird. Well, I hope that fades for you a little bit.
Amen. And it's also worth considering that I'll show up. The sort of people who would say something hurtful like that little girl or the old Farger or whatever. They definitely would not make that list of people you'd respect. Right. The act of them saying something stupid like that proves that, oh, they would never be on the list. So yeah, I move on with my day. I've been asking the women in the office how much they weigh. No. Good. Does your concern for their health? Should I stop? Should I stop? What's your BMI? Should I stop? What is your arms or conference? Oh, no, no, no. Well, I guess that's it. Your arms or conference. That's a good one. Oh, boy. I believe that whoever was in that room and did that was a murderer. A new podcast series, Fault Line Haditha, tells the story of a shocking crime and a cover-up
