Juno musician Taylor Dallas Vidick is stepping into the spotlight with her debut album, Cat and Mouse, set for release this April. She spent years singing with big bands, Motown groups, and other songwriters, and now her first single, Trash Birds, is already streaming everywhere. The album splits into two distinct halves, like a playful chase. One side leans jazzy with rich arrangements, while the other feels more fokie and intimate, pulling together tracks she's crafted over the years. Vidick credits her journey to a supportive community and parents who pushed her early on. She's grateful for the chances given to her as a young artist, way above her level at the time, turning her into the performer she is today.
