It is not hard to destroy a college. Last season, the podcast Campus Files brought you stories of fraternity drug rings, stolen body parts, campus colts, and more. And now Campus Files is back for another season. There's a guy screaming into his phone. He's like, I just saw Charlie Kirk assassinated right in front of me. Every week is a new episode and a new story. It's okay, I like, it's almost like a university on a siege. Listen to and follow Campus Files, available now wherever you get your podcasts. Here's a good one. The stony just brought up a little thing that bothers him. The really, really bothers him is when he orders pancakes and they bring a butter pad and it's cold and it won't melt. It's not just pancakes, it can be toast too, it can be a lot of things. There's one from Dickie that I completely agree with. Many phrases upset me. Top three is number one is when people say I could care less. It makes sense that you, when you say I couldn't care less because you're making the point that whatever this,

you're saying I could not possibly care less about this topic or what you're saying or anything like that. And somehow I would say more than 50% of people say I could care less. You're right. 2485 3997. We got the, the JV night as you heard there in the update got a lot of reaction earlier in the show. That was announced today, the 25th and 26th. It's been reaction from people looking forward to it, the people that are mad about it. And how can you be mad about that one caller said he thinks it's a clown show and that he's just going to go out there. He thinks they're going to, he's going to go out there and get embarrassed. But there's no guarantee he pitches. Correct. We would think that they would try like this would be a goal as they have faded from actual contention. Is there anything wrong with paying homage to JV and his career in Detroit? No, absolutely not given the fact that he goes to other stadiums that they're doing videos for him. Yes, it would actually, it would actually seem kind of weird if they didn't do something for him in Detroit.

Now, is it employed to sell tickets? I mean, sure. Yes. But there are tickets of 15 bucks that the, they started 15 bucks. So it's a lower price. We suspect there was a new the product, 35 cent dogs. Yeah, they should do it because they said they're having just in Verland or themed food. So I say 35 cent dogs. Also talking to football today, Dan Graziano, ESPN did predictions for every team. He worded it. Thusley. Don't be surprised if, and for the Lions, you wrote, wrote, don't be surprised if James and Williams is a team's leading receiver. Lions, Michigan, Michigan State fans, give us your best. Don't be surprised if we'll take Eastern Western Grand Valley Ferris at all of them here in state. By the way, they can sell special candy. He called them, uh, chocolate candy boys. They call them Kate Katz. Huh? Kate Upton. Oh, his wife. Kate. Kate Katz. You know, my people, I think I've said about the Verlander thing too, is I think it's a reminder of what didn't happen.

A reminder of a field season, a field signing, and also like, of course, the Tiger Team. Of course, the Tigers should do something. All right, we get that. And they are, they're going to do it. But I think for fans that don't like it, it's also, it's like it's a retirement tour, but there's no tour. Right. He didn't do anything. He didn't play any songs. He didn't do any sets. But we're, you know, like, that's when I think they're upset. And I think, you know how it is, man, when you have a bad year, nothing makes you happy. Express all machines, make people pissed off apparently. And maybe the fact that it's two days might upset some people to me. It means more people get to go and see it. I think they can do the same thing both nights or just. I don't know. Because I'm not thinking Verlander's even going to pitch. And probably I would, I'm more leaning towards you. Yeah, I just think it's the night they're, hey, these are two nights. We're going to do tribute videos. We're going to do giveaways. I have no idea whatever it is, but that's what it's about. There's zero guarantee that he's actually going to take the mound either one of these two nights. Yeah. You would think that he would try.

You would think that that's the selling, the big selling point. And it would be cool to, you know, plod them off the mound one last time. Even if it's just a pitch. 248-539-9797. Let's get back to your open line calls. We're going to Keith and Rochester Hills. Hi, Keith. Hey guys, how you doing? What's up? Well, I am my list of things that drive me nuts are almost all related to drive. You know, obviously the person in the left lane that just feels like they can't get over doing slow or people who won't turn on red. But my biggest is what I call truck on truck crime. I just love when you're on the freeway and you got a truck in the left lane doing about 62. And the other truck decides he has to pass him and he's doing 63 and you got to make about three miles to get around them. That does happen. That does happen. That does happen. You get one slow truck to pass by a slightly less slow truck. Yeah. Oh, and you follow them side by side for miles.

That's funny. Keith, thank you. 248-539-9797. Lew and Waterford, you're next. Hi, Lew. Hey, the guy that was complaining about the guys when they strike out and how they look to the outfield and as they walk away and stuff. Yeah. They're looking at the scoreboard, the instant replay on the big screen to see where the pitch was, to see how far off they were, if they're up or they're down, if they're inside outside where they stretch, they didn't stretch. They're just, they're learning. They do it in the pros, they do it in the minors, they do it in college. They all walk away and they're looking at the replay as they have to they strike out to see where the pitch was. I don't remember unless it's a big strikeout them showing that on the big board of America. I mean, they usually go and look on their iPads right afterwards. Yeah, they're looking at the replays are walking off and then when they see what happened, you can see the look of discussion if they go, oh shit, you know, or whatever. But there's usually, there's usually no reap. They don't show replays of strikeouts on the scoreboard. Yeah, I wonder about that because I notice it on TV more than anything. Yeah. You can't see the scoreboard, so it's possible.

When someone doesn't say thank you when you hold a door for them. Yeah, that's true. Is that how Stoney made three trips around Indianapolis? He never left the passing lane, that's from Tom and Flat Rock. True. Might be my favorite Stoney story of all time. There's a litany on him. It's called the Circle City. There's a highway that circles it to go around the entire city, probably would take 45 minutes,

and you circled it multiple times before you realized. Yeah, you were headed west. The road... A little thing that drives you crazy, the roll of toilet paper goes over, not under. You know, I don't care. I don't care at all. Don't you? No, I used to, I'm more of an under guy, but I feel cute. Yeah. Really? Doesn't make a difference. I think Stoney's an under guy's a stat of the day. Over. No, but that's the perfect... That's what we're looking for though, right? That's what he's probably with him. He's got any little thing. He only bothers him. I still need somebody to help me out on the difference between the mustard packets and the ketchup packets. Why one is easy ketchup? It's so easy. It's like opening that mustard. It's like you lose your teeth trying to bite it open. Yeah, some packaging major. Let us know. I sit on the packets of butter to make them heat up quicker.

It's from a name text. I hate you if I let you merge and you don't wave. I want you to stub both baby toes at the same time when you get to your destination. Yeah, I can't believe everyone doesn't know this by now. Just put a hand up. That's it. That's all it takes. Thank you. Thank you. That's it. A name text are chewing with your mouth open. Drives me crazy. I'm the worst. That's my family. Really? They make me go have dinner sometimes in a different room. I have a tour. It's horrific. Don't be surprised if when the lions and saints kick off next Sunday, the ball is returned by Amman Ross Saint Brown. That's from Scott. On a kick off return, I'd be less surprised if it was JMO. Tom and Graham Rapids don't be surprised if the lions hand the Buffalo Bills their first loss in their new stadium.

That one stunned me. No. The NFL, anything. Lions have a good team. Don't be surprised. 2485399797. Get to more your phone calls and feedback coming out. Also, a little bit later on, can I discovered something today? I wonder if it's ever happened to you. We will get to that at 1235. You're on 971.
