Stephen Curry's Knee Injury: Warriors' Bench Steps Up

Steven Curry of the Golden State Warriors is sidelined with Runner's knee, or Patel ephemeral pain syndrome in his right knee. He's already missed the team's last 10 games and will sit out the next 5 as well. The Warriors went 4 wins and 6 losses without him so far. The injury flared up during a game against the Detroit Pistons on January 30th when Curry looked uncomfortable and grabbed it as knee-wild, wearing a brace. Runner's knee causes pain around the knee-cap where it meets the thigh bone. The Warriors sit 8th in the Western Conference with a 31 and 29 record overall. Fans are worried about their playoff push without their star guard. Curry gets re-evaluated in 10 days per ESPN reports. In the meantime, Brandon Podzijewski and Pat Spencer step up his backups.
