Start Fast with the Perfect Week 1 Lineup - RotoViz Overtime

0:00To the end zone, touchdown. What a crap. It's big pride. Oh, one-hander. CD-LAM. There he goes. Please hold to the end zone. NFL week one is here. It's hard to believe, but we are ready to set those lineups and try and start the season fast. Get the week one W to get off to a positive start. Sean, it always feels good to start off one and O rather than chasing your tail from the very, very start. Do you want to mention off this start here? We are doing a little bit of an experimental thing to start this season. That's been the first of them or we're going to record our shows as we normally do myself and Sean. Like we're doing now. We're going to record them also as members live streams over on the YouTube site. If people want to jump in, each choose it. 10-11 AM Eastern rather. It'll be 4 PM. My time over this side of the pond. We're going to try and record our shows and put them there for people to see.

1:00Sean, we're going to try and make them nice and clean. Not have to edit too much. I try not to cut too much out. It'll be a lot of fun. But I'm really looking forward to trying it out. Everything else will remain the exact same. We record like this anyway. And then the shows get posted pretty sharp on the audio side after it. Any edit and all that that has to be done. But nothing will change on the audio podcast side. It's just kind of an additional opportunity to go in. And watch the shows live. Maybe if you have some questions that you want to answer or ask in the chat, we might even get to those. But it's going to be a case that Tuesday morning 11 AM Eastern will record these. I believe Sean and Ben are going to do some recaps of the weeks, especially the early weeks of the season. If I'm not correct, Sean, you can correct me on that. But that will post on Monday, morning's Eastern standard time. But Sean, the season is here. It feels like we're always waiting for it to come. But the last week and a half has really, really flowing by there as we try and get into some last minute drafts.

2:00Yeah, it seems like we are. If my math is correct a little more than a day from the first game and kicking off. Colin, when you pitch this, you didn't say anything about recording them clean. I didn't do that, but I also thought that. Yeah, so maybe we'll intentionally, if there's any mistakes made, Sean, they are intentional. That's what we'll say. Intentional mistakes. We do. Sometimes we could treat these exceptionally clean. Sometimes we get a little, myself and certainly on some of the entries get a little bit tongue tied as I talk along. But luck and forward to this. And Sean, you mentioned just we're lucky and we're going to set some foundations to how to set the perfect week one lineup on today's show. One of the things this year in particular is there's a game on Wednesday. Don't be waiting to set those line up some Thursdays. That would be the first key step, Sean. If you're playing on the FFPC, for example, you can get that first peak and it doesn't really matter. You can still set those lineups on Sunday. If you're playing in your standard home league, you need to make sure you get those Patriots, get those Seahawks into the lineups. And then you obviously get a game. Sean, I'm excited to see what happens.

3:01The 49ers are playing the Los Angeles Rams, Iden Melbourne. For long time listeners of the show, they might be from I love Den Melbourne for about a year. That's actually exactly around 10 years ago because as we record this, Sean, it's two days before my 10th year. We were in Australia just shortly before that. So, yeah, time's flying by here at the moment. But it's in the Melbourne Cricket grind, which is a big stadium in Melbourne. So that should be a pretty unique view and experience. Some of the stadiums that have been implemented in recent years for these NFL games that are not in the US have been more unique rather than, I think, that some of the ones like Wambly, for example, in London or Tottenham's Grand in London are more towards your trip. And I felt kind of saddened. So, two games early this week, then we get into the Sunday slet as well. So, Sean, as we look at this week, there's actually a lot to decipher. I think sometimes going into week one, it might feed a little bit more clear. But one of the things I want to start off with is a lot of people are going to have injury decisions this week and that might become clear as we get to Saturday and Sunday.

4:09But as, you know, early in the week at this point, we do have quite a few players, the likes of neighbors, even I mentioned that game. And it looks like he's going to be all go for week one, George Kettle with the 49ers, you get Gen T with the ridders. And then, of course, there are very early draft picked for the Cardinals in Jeremiah Love. All kind of feel like they're going to play, but, you know, then you get into the situation of potential snapkines. These guys, I think, are of a high enough caliber that if you drafted them, you're probably going to have to play them. But, how are you trying to work through some of the injury news here ahead of week one? Yeah, I think you basically just have to follow your plan, right? So, if you selected a player with the idea that he was going to be a foundation piece and play in week one, and you haven't drafted contingencies, especially for that, then you have to go ahead and take the plunge. So, if you're a very reporting sounds like that player will play and play a reasonable complement of snaps. Now, when we're talking about guys like neighbors and Kettle, for example, it certainly sounds like they will not play to the level that they normally would.

5:18As a finishing manager, you have to make the call in terms of what you think those snaps will be like. Things that we talk about all the time and someone like a Jalen Waddle, you know, will come up as a guy with this incredible yards per route run, number throughout his career. But partly that's because he plays so few snaps. And when he is actually out there, then they do funnel him the ball a little bit more than a receiver who was responsible for the full game. Right? If neighbors is going to play 60% of the snaps, but get his normal target scheme to him, that's not a problem. If Kettle is going to play half the time to get those normal target scheme to him again, it's not a huge problem. I don't know that we can confidently say that though, right? I mean, that's sort of the aspirational look at how things would work out. Certainly with someone like neighbors, I mean, you've probably drafted him to play, but if you selected a zero running back team where you selected six white receivers early and all of them are good, then actually it will be just fine to sit him in the first week and I would recommend that.

6:22With George Kettle, if you're selecting him as the second guy behind say a Colson loved Linda or Tyler Warren, I would recommend sitting in one of the things that you mentioned in terms of these early games, the Australia game, FFPC stuff. It's fantastic to have those players if you're in the FFPC because it's almost an element where it can only help you, right? You know the result, you plug them in. Now, maybe if you've selected a few of these guys and they don't score, you're going to see other managers get them at a two, three, four, five round discount after the game. So you may then be operating with a roster that is much weaker compared to what other teams could potentially run out there in the sprint. But you've got to get to the sprint first. The number one thing you're trying to do is win your specific league. And I mean, there are a lot of teams in the sprint, especially in the big gorilla, for example, at the same time, those teams are have to start their lineups.

7:25You're going to be able to have another player. So if you've made those decisions and they don't work out, I would not be paranoid that the season has already gone completely against you. Colin, when we're thinking about some of the players a little bit further down, when you're thinking about guys like Atravion, Henderson, or Jonathan Brooks, hopefully you actually were not drafting them to play in week one or not drafting with the idea that they had to play in week one. If the last week and a half had gone a lot better, then yes, I mean, you throw them out there, you'd be excited. You'd still have some risk, but you'd have some upside. I mean, as we record things seem very dark for Henderson, we don't know exactly how additional elements will transpire over the next 24 hours. They don't really look very good for Brooks either. And so hopefully managers have contingency plans in place for those guys. Yeah, because I was going to kind of folded and then to go to players a little bit deeper down and Brooks is one obviously on the social media sphere. It's in getting a lot of talk over the last kind of we could say over the last week, but again, it's kind of ramped up as the season has got closer clips of them running, you know, how he's locking and things like that.

8:32But for example, me and you drafted a team, unfortunately we didn't get a chance to record the draft. I had some child watching duties to the care of. So drafted that team kind of along with our son. So hopefully that's not our sunshine by son with my wife. But try and hopefully that's going to bring us good luck for this draft, but we did draft Jonathan Brooks and we drafted a couple of real upside swing players. And that when we were kind of making decision points, we went for kind of the fun upside play. John Brooks is one of those. If we look at how we drafted that team, he would technically fit into the the start and lineup of players, but I would be guessing that by the time we get to decision point on Sunday that Michael Wilson and other player who we drafted, maybe the one that ends up slotting into the lineup for us. But there is the was there's no way about it. The things would have to really change over the next few days for that flux spot to be Jonathan Brooks. Yeah, I do think that as well. But that's kind of the decisions that some people will have and it might even be a case of as we work in like we have the case for optimism always this time of year. And we go through the NFL draft season. We go even through some of these guys who have had a rookie season that maybe didn't hit the heights that we had have hoped and we may even get into talking about the likes of let's say.

9:42I'll do third board and the expectation we're having jumping in two year to you, but there's that kind of case in week one for balancing the optimism of the upside of when you're in the off season and you're like these guys will be hit by week sex. So you're drafting a lot of them. There's also the pragmatism of week one where maybe it's a case where we decide like the team decides well it's going to take that rookie time to get that additional workload like another name that's in that team that. Optimism has belted out the course of this off season had a tremendous rookie year had already disappointed second year Brian Thomas for example and the mix in that team as well. But when we look at other names who have had like for one reason or another positive let's say six months period from the draft true now. Looking at somebody like a rookie and a Giddury on price for the Seahawks you'll be playing in that early game with the expectation on the week one workload for him and then obviously you get somebody like Martian Lloyd who with the situation around. Josh Jacobs has kind of been vaulted into a likely starter role for the Packers, although he has been you know unproven due to injuries and different reasons tried to course of his early portion of his career.

10:51How is it again looking at the running backside of things where judging the workload off those particular players let's say John and Brooks does and go does that mean that you have a hybrid as a 90% workload guy for the panthers this week it's kind of the expectations of maybe some of these guys who are not in the top round. But are wrench five true ten let's say and we're trying to decide who to slot into the line. Yeah I think you just want to make sure every single time you're looking at the individual situation you're working through how that projects for you. And in both of the cases that you've mentioned there the sort of second stringer or the elevated second stringer with some receiving workload could actually cut into the situation a lot and you can probably speak more for us on what you think is going to happen with Chris Brooks there with the packers he certainly seems like someone who could come out of this and be.

11:57A big waiver wire ad after week one certainly in Seattle George Hullani has been discussed as someone who could actually take a huge chunk of the high value touches and I some of that type of thing ends up being merely the narrative the coaches are trying to keep everyone fired up they're trying to keep expectations in check and when you get in the game and you're getting price rips off you know two or three of these they don't have to be twenty thirty yard runs right but you make a guy missing the backfield you hit somebody else you're both forward for four or five yards and it's a wow play even if the yard is just there then I mean you're going to get those touches as hard to go to that other guy at the same time when you think about where these teams are going to be and this necessity of winning week one and you think about how risk of verse some fantasy drafters are I don't know how coaches to be that much more so you think about what happened all last year. What happened all last year with the patriots and I'm taking the relatively mediocre to bad play of her laundry Stevenson you finally get Henderson out there he rips off all of these long runs and then it gets hurt at a time that makes it look like Stevenson has regained the job at the end.

13:15There are real questions around Lloyd and price that you just want to go into it eyes wide open right those guys are very playable week one especially if you built your roster in such a way that those would be the guys I mean you think about the drafts that happen recently prices expensive Lloyd is expensive if you're starting lineup you know has a couple running back couple wide receivers a couple flexes I mean probably those are the guys we just do want to realize they have other players on the roster it is the first week when you have on proven players. Frequently those players get pennilized for mistakes in ways the other players do not as well and so you have to be ready to ride the roller coaster a little bit and if you selected those guys I mean you sort of bought that ticket already now if you draft such a good deep team that you have other clear options there's also nothing that says you have to go out and be a hero and play these guys right away if your roster is equal with other paths you might take that path in week one and just gather the information as you go about.

14:15Yeah good point that you met some some people all of teams and some of these tournaments like the FFPC men event or the big relar the big relar that have been drafted could be six weeks ago could have been two months ago could have been even further back and and those situations you're going to have teams that drafted you know the likes of a Martian Lloyd very late with the expectation that Josh Jacobs with a starter those lineups like you're saying may have started with a couple of on the backs and the first couple of rounds I still think that likely projected points for this week for the likes of the players. I'm not sure if a Lloyd and what his workload is probably going to put him at minimum on those teams into the flex but it is kind of a case of some of these players that we go into week one thinking it's going to go in a certain direction it could very swiftly go in another way and you mentioned like the Packers Ron and back Sean I don't know if there's ever been a career Ron and backs that weren't all rookies. If we look at this Martian Lloyd has six career carries and one career reception and regular season action Chris Brooks is 82 carries and 24 receptions and then the third option on that roster who we were wondering if he still existed as Caleb Johnson Farmer pet sporks leader 28 carries one reception for a three of running backs that has to be at the low end of a team so the one option is that maybe that's really does push the Packers hand to get more into a passing game rather than lean specific.

15:34Because they did lean heavy on on Jacobs for multiple seasons and rely on that running game but for example if it happens that March on Lloyd starts slow and then Chris Brooks comes out somewhat hot specifically if he gets the receive and work in this game you could be in a situation pretty quick where that switches right I do expect Lloyd to get it but you know you think of Lloyd all this on proven young player but is 25 years old there's only a year difference between these two guys so I wouldn't be leaning you know with the huge confidence that Lloyd then becomes just the unmanned to get a starter for the rest of the season it is coming in and trusting one to follow and when we're kind of on that area of the veterans and some of these situations you know I mentioned earlier Luther Warden obviously second year but still a veteran hadn't in here you get a dunes a you know the bears wide receivers how that shakes out you get the Packers wide receivers who have talked a bit a lot throughout the off season maybe that choice Jacobs news helps those guys are one of those guys a little bit about further I mentioned with Brian

16:34Thomas on that roster like if you're going into a draft or a team this weekend and you have no the the jaguars options obviously maybe you've taken Travis Hunter as more of a flyer or a lit side you know up play when we look at the rest of the guys who's going to be interesting across numerous different wide receiver cores in particular to see how that shakes out versus where they can on official offseason depth chart looks versus who's actually getting targets and catching passes when it comes to week one and beyond is there any of kind of those that I mentioned that you're very optimistic it plays out in a certain way are you concerned that a place out in a certain way. I know you have pumped the breaks a few times on Luther Warden when I had some optimism there and I know we've kind of gone back and forth from the Packers receiver I find them all and try like one of the things of the show we're going to do is going to come out later this week is going to be about you know what we're looking for are looking forward to finding out you know in the air the weeks of the season I think some of these receive in course in particular going to be interesting because I don't think there's a case that you know three on each team you know thrive.

17:45Yeah you mentioned a couple of those teams one of the. You know excuses that you can use if you're trying to sit a price or sit a Lloyd is that with the Packers traveling to Minnesota I mean that is not a very favorable game for your entire offense there you think about having an early game having a game against the patriots that's not necessarily that favorable either for Seattle. Even though I mean my instinct is that Seattle will win that game again as they did in the Super Bowl it's also been a really fun one to play the. The New England defense because we can have something that's the exact opposite of what we got in last year's playoffs where Sam Darnell throws the four picks we know he's a four pick in the game guy and so you can have that go very much against you. You look at some of these matchups for the receivers that you're talking about Chicago against the Panthers even if they have some injury issues there I mean you're expecting that one to be a blowout now when I say you're expecting it to be a blowout doesn't mean that that's actually what's going to happen we have very wide ranges for all of these NFL games especially in week one we're going to have some teams really make the jump there hasn't been a ton out of Carolina that would really give you the impression that they even think that that's going to be them.

19:09But the Panthers do have some talent they've got some interesting guys it could be a little bit more competitive there than we're expecting the issue with the Bears that I have been tracking and it just it's been very tricky for fantasy managers as you have this burden injury you miss all of this time it's not just the potential for a re injury but it's the potential for all of that mistime to get burdened off to a slow start and for a dunesay to have taken the all of this work and you know really be the guy you think about some of the times that a dunesay has played especially early last year when he's not injured and there's been a little bit more room for enthusiasm he looks like a very compelling third year breakout and you're getting him around to around the half cheaper. Unfortunately if you are following that a dunesay thesis what's happened in the last week is that's flipped and now it looks like burden maybe and a dunesay maybe hurt and it's kind of a sad development for this Bears offense in general because Caleb Williams has been one of the most exciting potential secondary breakout right we got the breakout last year you have a secondary breakout this season now maybe he's in the MVP category you have these three guys where you expect the offense to be pretty concentrated I mean the thing that probably has happened and you know we were fortunate enough to actually make this pick onto the roster is that now

20:35close to love and looks even better than he looked before and he's always looked very good that's what the reasons he is going so early in the drafts you flip over and you look at Jacksonville against the Cleveland Browns that's another one where you expect Jacksonville to win very easily and maybe try some different things see what they have going there they seem very confident that Parker Washington is going to be what he was last season one of the things that we know is historically the best finishes by guys who don't have a lot of previous production to justify it those tend to evaporate now doesn't mean that the player leaves the NFL all together it certainly doesn't mean that he couldn't when you think about Adam Thielin as someone who had a relatively late breakout it was a large breakout and then he becomes a foundation star for a handful of years we could be getting that from Parker Washington one of the things that I noted in the article that came out at the end of last week which was one of the more fun ones and I think maybe the most actionable one was looking through the top 120 players talking about how do you get the production from this player much less expensively and Parker Washington is basically the guy where like if you want to draft led Maconkey and you're not comfortable with that price just take Parker Washington later he's probably got a better thesis in the first place right at the same time with Brian Thomas I mean he's the guy that you need to be able to do that.

22:05Maybe the breakout superstar the player who everybody is talking about in round one or maybe the end of round one that kind of CD lamb area next season if the Jacksonville Jaguars are going to compete for the Super Bowl and frankly until they had that really tough first round matchup go down at the end in the playoffs last season they look like a potential Super Bowl team even last year for them to take the next step to be this AFC juggernaut where we actually have a lot of teams that look very good and very competitive. For the AFC title I mean it's got to be Thomas too and then you need Myers to be the possession guy and by possession I just mean you need him to be the safety valet type of player of veteran presence who does all the dirty work make some tough catches when you need to get that third down in these other guys for being blank and etc. And then you're going to have Travis Hunter who probably does work in on some gadget plays and if one of those guys gets hurt Travis Hunter probably plays a pretty big role. And so Hunter I mean especially when you're thinking about contention upside still very very interesting I think that I mean obviously if you draft a Parker Washington he's going to be in your lineup if you draft a Brian Thomas and you have other options I think you could still go with those other options in week one.

23:16If your other options are Matthew Golden or Xavier worthy it gets a little bit trickier but when you think about guys you could just slide right in you know golden and worthy players who have very clear role. Even though they have bargain basement prices on those guys are playable in week one in a way that macaque lemon for example probably is not. I think it's interesting to if we look through almost the whole slate like every game almost has significant questions at wide receiver based on how the market drafted and then how will perceive it moving forward even for example like I've noticed here that the Titans are a one and a half point favorite versus the New York Jets but even and not like instantly if you want to get that. And so I think instantly if cam ward has actually taken a significant step forward and take as a real all of a sudden that picture is completely changed and if you work down true the majority of the games are significant kind of you've mentioned the lat macaque thing like does that you know flipport is back to that kind of rookie season farm but I feel just so many intriguing question marks coming out of week one are going to set us up for what happens for the rest of the season very very excited to see how that every game is going to be.

24:27I'm excited to see how that I might even go back and luck here when we're on a shot that let's stick with the wide receivers before I talk with the Ron and backs you can lean into some of them you mentioned the Travis Hunter one there's a lot of kind of guys and one of the things you are very optimistic about doing. Let's say we're talking six weeks ago was drafting the Ron and backs early and having a lot of lit round wide receivers then to be able to to fell in but now we're at the stage where we're setting those lineups and unfortunately one of the ones that we absolutely love was Jett and Heggins and he's obviously out that leads to a huge opportunity here for Nico Collins and what he could do for the Texans this season but when we look then at you know the likes of Omar Cooper Ted Hurst those are the names Pat Bryant are they guys that are just like. We didn't see as we approach this week is that any of those kind of guys let's say from round 12 onwards that you'd be looking to push into a lineup and week one on that like and this is without significant issues ahead of it but let's say you have a Jonathan Brooks and it is active and able to be involved this week versus let's say one of those lit kind of rookie or second year wide receivers.

25:35Yeah, you would have to have drafted early in a way where you got very unlucky or drafted a very lopsided type of team and I don't mean that with negative connotations obviously you can go with an extreme robust running back build this year and there are a lot of ways to pull that off where when you're going down the stretch like I've got four of the top 10 running backs and two very solid wide receivers in the starting lineup come try and beat that team and obviously vice versa for zero. I do struggle to see how you would have put together a team where you want to play those guys early which doesn't mean that week one is not a gigantic week for them you think about a couple of the guys that I mean you're not going to obviously get them on every team but we have extreme exposure to and tray Harris and Pat Bryant. You're certainly hoping that those guys play and play a lot and then the flip side of that would be that if you have a lot of bread and Thompson and dynasty as we have you're hoping that one of those two guys plays and has a real role that it's not surely a two wide receiver offense with the tightens involved again we've got a lot of hamptons here hoping that he breaks some runs scores multiple touchdowns but when you have that Pat Bryant these are the ones that you're hoping to get the right

26:52for the success and part of it is that they're going to rotate receivers part of it is that they will have a decent number of three receiver sets and part of it is that when he's out there he's actually the most likely guy to get targeted out of Waddle Sutton and Bryant. If none of that comes to fruition in week one then even though you haven't played him it's still a borderline debacle now you can only have so much go wrong for someone who's a 15th 16th round draft pick and so mostly it's just disappointing that you didn't hit on someone who could give you yet another dominating piece for the lineup can as you move through the by weeks. The other part then to move into is kind of that zero or B range in terms of starting these running backs and this could also be part of the show for later in the week but lucky ahead there's going to be a couple of these places where obviously it may be just a close to a 50 50 split between the two backs but you did mention Stevenson and Henderson obviously not looking great at the start of the season we'll see how the whole season plays out for Henderson but you get like you know the Steelers run backs linked in there obviously we'll see what happens

27:55with John and Brooks but the Panthers run backs are in that area of the draft the Broncos with Dobbins and Harvey you get the commanders backs in there with merit and white and then you look through the entire like how things are are kind of going to play out and that range of the draft we've been very favorable to basal tooting for example but like Chris Rodriguez somebody that we have talked as a secondary potential option you can keep in much of them there Taipei Spears Tony Pollard all those sorts of gazes if you have drafted zero or B roster this year are you proceeding with great caution and just kind of our you know and previous years was very similar to or some of those guys maybe you would have to put in line up and week one weren't good to generate a huge amount of work but that's just part of building out those roster there in the season but the other thing with that sorry is the pitcher could just flip like I think we're very much on the jail and war inside of let's say the Pittsburgh battle but that could lean like one way or another very quick win week one and I could stay that way for the remainder of the season either positively or negatively I guess I'll be surprised at this point based on how that they have portrayed it if that happens I think we could have individual games that go one way or the other I think you could have either of those

29:08two guys have a big week one and then it be a 50 50 and then the other guy and week five has a big game other guy and week nine mostly 50 50 but part of the thesis there that sort of continues to go through even as you get reporting for doubt all that pushes back on this idea of Jalen Warren having a breakout season is that at least for me I have a lot of optimism about how this offense will run in contrast to what we got with Arthur Smith and so at the running back in the season it almost doesn't matter quite as much because he did create a lot of value for Warren and game well at the same time I think they can replicate a lot of that with Warren and doubt but you're also probably going to have more touches in the red zone because you have a much more dynamic passing offense you have a coach who wants to score as opposed to a coach who wants to kill the game and so I think you can go out there if you've drafted those guys you probably

30:11can and in most cases probably should go ahead and play Jalen Warren I think that the similar thing is true about Tyler Aljir now one of the things that we always talk about in terms of putting together a zero RB portfolio is that you can draft different styles of backs and you can draft different time frames for impact and especially ever since the injury happened in an happened a while back for love the impact that you're expecting with Tyler Aljir is now front loaded and so that helps you balance out maybe some guys who are more purely contingent like a tank big speed or made Davis it's certainly the case where I mean you'd love to have a roster even if you went very wide receiver heavy where you don't have to play Taijay Spiris and week one but his thesis is basically that he's receiving back he's Kenny Gainwell and I mean Gainwell is being drafted to play right so if you have that same thesis there if that's how you built your roster out and I think that you can play him right from the beginning the one who's a little bit more borderline is probably Chris Rodriguez but Rodriguez is a guy where he didn't end up on the zero RB candidates countdown he would have ended up on the update if I had a chance to get that out hopefully readers and subscribers were excited about how much content there was so leading up to labor they there and discussing some of those types of things but you think about some of the very cheapest

31:33guys as we go down the stretch Chris Rodriguez Woody marks somebody else or not necessarily high on as a talent didn't really do a lot last season but in terms of people who were actually expected to play quite a bit I mean Woody marks is very cheap if you have him and you needed to running back you can probably put him in right away once you get a little bit below that I'm keep Mitchell both with like what's the role and what's the injury will probably get some more clarity on the injury as the injury reporting comes out I mean not not good clarity but more than nothing Emmett Johnson, Caitlin Black, Dylan Thompson, Dylan Samson, Dylan Samson actually might be in the same situation as Kenny Gainwell and Spiris but you probably want the Browns to prove that to you you get a bit lower the rest of those guys probably can't play a lot of the guys drafted above that I mean you probably wouldn't want to go in week one my Washington has gotten trendy probably wouldn't want to go in week one calm and on guy appears to be back probably wouldn't want to go in week one unless you have to certainly

32:41there's a lot of other shot white seems like he's in a horrible situation. Jenna Coleman is a third stringer Aaron Jones we don't really know what the Vikings are going to do there and in the same way that's probably not a great match up for your packers it's maybe not a great match up for the Vikings guys either now something that you certainly hope for the 2020 60s and we talk about aspirational plays or just talk about things that were dreaming may happen hopefully the packers in the back hopefully the packers and the Vikings will be both be more explosive so even though they have good defenses you could play this game and instead of one team hoping to win 13 to 10 you have one of these games for both teams are just powerhouses and even the defense is play well it's like a 2724 match up. What's your week one. Minnesota Vikings Green Bay Packers prediction. Well I was going to flip it and I'm going to go with it now though and I was going to ask you have the NFL set this up to really make my week one you know start off bad if call or he comes out and spreads the packers defense as that's what's going to happen here.

33:43I certainly don't think it is it's basically the the Sean Seagal versus column Kelly Kaillard Marty bull coming up here with who comes out on top and I'm hoping it's going to be green Bay Packers but I'm very intrigued to see how Cater works in this offense. We've talked about the coaching in the past, can that coaching kind of hide some of the elements that he struggles with and elevate them? Some of his strengths, you know, maybe get him, I've been a little bit of rushing and things like that and kind of allow him to do what his profile was in the past versus what we've seen from recent times with the Cardinals. But I think that the Packers will go into Minnesota and win this week. And I'm hoping that it, a little bit talked about the running backs there. I hope it's gonna be a Packers offense that does lead to more of a big play element through the air. I think if you're paying your quarterback, the money there now paying, Jordan Love, although it is fine across the market, I think you have to know at this point of his development, you know, put a little bit more on his shoulders

34:43because if he wasn't a Packers quarterback and it wasn't a Packers in this, I think I would be furious at this point if, you know, we were being this conservative. That might just be the Matt LaFlure way as we move forward. But I'm hoping to see the Packers offense take a big step forward in that passing game. And although what has happened off the field, which I'll shake up, is disappointing from an off the field perspective and the NFL and everything else will be with that, I think the opposite of that might be that the Packers are forced and do it if they weren't already, going to do it in terms of the passing game. So I would hope to see, you know, Justin Jefferson still be able to be worked in. I want to see Jardinadasen continue to develop, but I want the Packers to also win. So nice high scoring shootout might be the way from a defensive side of things, it may be a more of a battle than not. But I want to leave it, Sean, as a teaser for the show because I want to set show to what the idea of counting the NFL get back to high score and contest

35:44and more scoring across the board. But we'll leave that for the second show off the week. Hopefully people have enjoyed our kind of conversation true. So maybe the lineup decisions that people will be having from a broader perspective is you get ready for week one, obviously I mentioned the Wednesday games, the Thursday games, the Sunday games, and then we'll get into the regular routine.
