About this episode
College football is officially back, and Stefan, Mike, and Eric kick off the season with a loaded week one slate presented by RotoViz. The guys open by trading storylines before the picks even start: what a new coordinator and receiver room could mean for Utah, whether Georgia's rare roster continuity points to another Kirby Smart title run, and the UCLA-Cal quarterback matchup between transfer Nico Iamaleava and Cal's returning signal caller.
From there it's straight into the picks, and the card is stacked. The crew breaks down Miami's trip to Stanford, Clemson traveling to a rebuilt LSU team led by Arizona State transfer Sam Leavitt, and that UCLA-Cal showdown they teed up earlier. They dig into SMU's road trip to a shaky Florida State squad, a busy afternoon featuring Auburn-Baylor and Cincinnati-Boston College, and a Wisconsin offense getting tested by Notre Dame. Fresno State heading into USC gets its own debate, along with the New Mexico game and the Colorado State-Wyoming rivalry matchup for the Bronze Boot.
As always, the hosts run through three rounds of picks, decide who's getting tailed or faded, lock in their show picks of the week, and close it out with the Frat Boy Parlay, a four-leg group bet built around Indiana-North Texas.

Hello and welcome to Ready Bet Action presented by a roto viz college football week one is here and I could not be more excited. I don't think Eric and Mike feel very differently than me. You guys we have a jam packed week one. We've got some really exciting matchups. We've got Miami going to Stanford. That's what we all want to talk about. No, I'm just getting of course. Clemson LSU Louisville Ole Miss, Boise State Oregon. There's just so many great games to choose from this week. But before we get into the show and make our picks, this is a college football week one episode. So we know a little bit about a few of these teams because few of these teams played in week zero. But a lot of these guys, you know, it's a brand new season week one.
What is one of the key story lines you're looking for? Something you think you're going to learn this week one way or the other Mike. Utah football baby. What's this new team going to do? New staff, new coordinator can damp here, actually take a step up as a passer and not just have to rely on his legs so much or this is the death that wide receiver actually going to be what we're hoping it will be. Is it actually going to be the best ride receiver room that Utah's ever seen? Super intrigued by that. I'm also very intrigued by Georgia. I'm giving you my two home or play shocking. But Georgia did not have a lot of turnover this year. We're bringing back more players this year than we have in the last three. This time this happened, Carby won a national title. He has been very open and his challenges with the transfer portal and how much better it is whenever he has some to actually develop as players.
That does kind of concern me for the long call. I hope this is not another dabbo thing happening slowly over here. But as of right now, I'm very intrigued at what this team looks like with the amount of continuity that we have coming back. So yeah, much a home or place. Eric, what are you looking for to? What's the story? What do you think you're going to learn after week one? My favorite part of week one, because I don't think it's really happens in week zero. Week zero is kind of like preseason. It feels like of college football, which is great. We still got football. But week one with a big difference between week zero and preseason is week zero. I lost a lot of money. Preseason, I don't bet. Exactly. I think I made more money on NFL preseason than I made in week zero. That's for sure. No, no, I love what I love. Like my I will be on my couch, like my plan for the day is Saturday is to just watch college football. But I'm looking forward to like my phone buzzing with upset alerts, even if like they don't turn into upsets.
It's like, what's happening? Like at halftime, you tap is like tied with Oklahoma for some stupid reason. You know, it's like for like just some ridiculous scenario is happening. And we're all flipping over to frantically find the channel where this upset could happen. You know, like one of the all time upsets. And they rarely kind of pan out that those upsets happen. But like, you know, getting those upsets alerts throughout the day that like, you know, because teams are just kind of getting their engines revmed. And, you know, some of these lower teams might be like hyped up. And this is their super bowl to go play a big team. So I love getting those in week one and just like being really intrigued. And who knows? Maybe we get the one of the big upsets of all time this week. Yeah. The mission again first, app state from 2007. Yeah. Oh my God. That was crazy. I'm old. So great. I won non-homer play that I'm excited to see that happens this week is I think we'll know this week, whether or not Mike Norville will make it through the end of the season.
Given the way that FSU started last week in national was ass. Yeah. Very intrigued by that game. Absolutely. Yeah. I love it. One of the things I think I'm going to learn this week is I'm super curious to see what goes on in this Cal UCLA game. Two super fun quarterbacks, new coaching staffs. Kind of like a, you know, in state, former pack 12 rivalry game. Super curious to see which of these quarterbacks. I mean, Nico Yamalayava was one of the dudes that we were expecting to be making a huge push for Tennessee and maybe take them to a championship, maybe with a high spin and now he's on a new team and. I love the kid over in Cal. I can never say his name, but he's fantastic. So that's one of the things I'm really excited to look at. But real quick, you guys, before we jump into the show, let me just tell our great listeners kind of what to expect from this episode.
You're going to hear each of us give our three favorite plays for week one. Then we'll break down each other's picks. We're going to decide if we want to tail them. If we want to fade them or if we just want to pass. Then we're going to put forward our favorite one of our three picks as our show pick. These can be vetoed by the end of this episode. We're going to give you one to three picks that we absolutely love for week one. And then at the very end, we've got a frappway parlay. We each give one leg of a parlay that will get us to at least plus 500. A no doubter every time it caches. This is week one. We did not we did not cash in weeks here. Did not cash last week. But it's all good. Thanks for you. Hey, I'm excited for week one. It's here. We're ready to rock and roll. Let's get into our picks for the week. They're supposed to be a button there. What is the soup? It's the soup of the day. That sounds good.
I'll have that. Picks of the week. Week one. Here we go. That was rough. Hey, we're to go, but up from here. Mikey, what's your first play of the week? I'm going to get to that Clemson LSU game. I'm going to go first half under 26 and a half. Clemson finally named their starting quarterback. He looked really good against SMU last year when he got his one start, which is not nothing. Through for 317 and 3 touchdowns. You just have a new quarterback behind a brand new offensive line that struggles on the road in general. And they've struggled against the SEC as of late last season. Clemson had six road games every single one of them cash the under. And then you've got just so much new turnover going on at LSU. You've obviously got Sam Levitt coming in from Arizona State. You've got Lane Kiffin.
You've got 40 plus transfers. You might even have some NFL dudes. We don't know yet. But there's there's going to be adrenaline flowing with all the new that's happening at LSU. That's such a tough stadium to get to really get going in. I think as much as as Clemson's going to struggle offensively, their defense is actually going to be really good. We talked about that in the preseason between those two things. You know, that just doesn't really give me a lot of confidence and a lot of points here. I do think there is a world in which LSU kind of gets settled in late in the game and kind of pulls away late. So I'm going to stick to the first half here. I also like Clemson plus 10 and a half here. I think is the number there now, but I feel a little bit better about taking the first half under in the slow start. Eric, if you don't mind, I'm just going to go ahead and give my go first play of the week here. It's similar vibe similar idea, but I'm going to take that full game under in Clemson at LSU. So it is a different bet. If it was the same thing, I would have come up with a different one and just tailed you.
But I like the full game under and for a lot of the same reasons you said. I mean, the under in this very game, which you know, we've seen a few times now, is 3 and 0. Last year it hit under for all the reasons you said, you know, I do think LSU wants to run the football. They've really struggled the last few years. Our boy Lane Kiffin is known as like an offensive guru quarterback whisperer type. But really, if you watch his style, he loves to run the football. His offense is based around the run. It's kind of similar to how like Oregon gets mislabeled as this like pass heavy offense when really it really is the run game and then working your offensive play going vertical off of that on a play action. So anyway, all that to say, I think we're going to see them try to establish a run game. And we will see this clock tick tick tick tick tick offly quick. I like Blake Baker, the defensive coordinator for LSU to kind of put visit,
put him in a blender. I don't think he's going to see the field very well. I don't expect Clemson to come out the gate looking very strong at all offensively to your point, Mike. But I do think that defensively they could be pretty strong. Clemson does have a really strong wide receiver room. So we could see them try to get those guys going, but one of LSU's strengths on defense is their secondary. So I think they can shut them down. And I think one of the top wide receivers, not West go, but the other one. I think is maybe on the injury report. So something to monitor as well, regardless, I like the under in this game for all the reasons we said. So Eric, will you please give us your first play for we. Yeah, absolutely. So Clemson LSU over. Stay fun, joke about it. But I'm going to go with the Stanford Miami game. My ampies, my ampies go into Stanford. I'm going to take Stanford plus 24 and a half here. I love throwing out one that I think you are going to fade.
I don't, I don't know if you'll fade my other. This is if I had to pick one, I think you all will. It might be this one. I do think Miami is like that good of a team. Was that men's as their quarterback this year, but is a new quarterback. Stanford's got the warm up week. They look clearly better in taking a step forward than they did last year. And I'm going with the two time zone travel rule. I don't care if it's week one. Miami's traveling back two time zones. Their bodies are 9 p.m. Eastern. This games at 6 p.m. on the Pacific Coast. So it'll be 9 p.m. Eastern physically for Miami. And yeah, I don't know. I think Miami is a big defensive team. And I think that that's going to lend itself to lower scoring and 24 and a half is a big it's just a big spread. So give me give me Stanford to cover the big spread after what I saw last week probably. Probably over reacting, but you know what? I'm going with it. I just love that we're starting off called the football with two unders and a underdog. So that's a that's a good start for betting.
My dude back to you. I don't know if you guys listen to the latest cover three podcast that dropped today. But they dropped a stat that like I think it was like 70% of the plays on totals right now in college football or on the unders. So that means the overs are going to start smashing come week five here. Yes. Yes. Speaking of I'll give you an over. I'm going to go to UCLA with Cal and we're going to go over 53 and a half. This game could be some serious pack 12 after dark vibes. Both of them in the home state not having to travel too far you already talked briefly about Niko. Eamali, AvA we know he's had the arm talent. But what's super intriguing in me here is bringing in the new crew from James Madison specifically the offensive coordinator Dean Kennedy. And what he has done with quarterbacks in his time as a coach. The last four years his quarterbacks have averaged 34 touchdowns that would have been good for 11th in the country last year.
And that none of them were even close to the arm talent of Niko Eamali, AvA. And that doesn't even mention what he did with Kyle Trask and Florida when trash just exploded for 40 plus touchdowns. I really like UCLA offensively to take a big step forward here. I don't know how I feel about the defense yet that remains to be seen. Same kind of story over here with Cal and JKS man and he we know he was going to be a stud when we came in. But it was also a blast watching him kind of develop throughout the season. He finished his season last year with 667 yards and five touchdowns over his final two games. Those are just two combinations of like fantastic quarterbacks in new situations. I think Cal's defense is going to come along throughout the year with loopway. But for now, this just feels like we could easily see like a 65 70 point game for now. So getting this a 53 and a half. I really love this play.
Nice. Yeah, and Cal brings in a couple new wide receivers to help out JKS, which yeah, I think could be really interesting as well. So love that play Eric, when you give us your second play for the week. Yeah, I'm still inside on my thirst. We're going to go with my favorite one and because I'm very decided on it, which is I look back at how I did last year on bed in college football. My bet some of my best plays were just, I call them money line parles. They're really just teasers where you're taking two teams to win and you're smashing those together. So we're going to do one of those. We're going to take Auburn to win against Baylor. And then we're going to do Cincinnati to win against Boston college should get you around minus 120, maybe minus 130. They're both seven and a half point favorites. If those lines move more favorably, it could get better. Auburn and Baylor projected both to be like these five to seven win teams. I just like that Hugh Freese is gone and I think that's a tremendous motivation and I will take the mid tier SEC team over a mid tier big 12 team all day to win a football game.
And then I'm going to take Cincinnati because I know since and I is kind of in the middle of the big 12, but like Boston college is going to be one of the worst power four teams in the country. This year and I am fading below Brian. I've never been a huge bill of Brian fan, but they're projection of three and a half wins. And this is not one of those. Well, this is not one of those three and a half wins they're supposed to get. So I'm going to take Auburn and Sinci. I like that the games are also like being played close to each other. I get you a nice minus 120. Cool. Yeah, Satterfield has a lot to prove it's in Cincinnati. Yeah, Baylor Auburn game low key one of my favorite games of the week, even though they're both unranked. I think it'll be super interesting, super, super fun game to watch. So having a little bit of interest in that one is appealing to me. I'm going to go to a game that you referenced the coach of earlier today. This is a line that scares the hell out of me because it makes no sense.
SMU travels to Florida state as a three point favorite. I don't understand this line. I am not sure how Florida state can keep this within three. So I'm just going to go with what I expect to happen. And I'm going to take SMU on the road as a favorite. Yes, going going to Tallahassee can be tough, but I think Jennings is one of the better quarterbacks. Not only in the ACC, but in the country in my Texas state dynasty in the video game season one Jennings won the Heisman. It's relevant. I'm sure. So I just like to throw those pearls of wisdom in there. I don't believe in Aston Daniels. I like that you called him ass earlier. So it's Aston Daniels. So did you just call him Aston Daniels? I appreciate that. Yes. He wasn't good last year. And he is not who Florida state wanted to have as their quarterback.
He was like their incase of emergency break glass transfer edition like this fourth or fourth option I think after missing on a lot because they underestimated the market. So I'm really nervous about this for the state team. They did not pressure new Mexico state hardly at all. They could not get there with four. If you're bringing five or six against this SMU team, who's who's offensive line? I mean, we do have some questions. But I think Jennings can pick them apart. I think you can be dangerous on the run. So give me SMU minus three at minus one, 12 as my second play for week 12. Let's go to our final picks for the week. I stay. What? How would you feel if I told you you could get it at minus two and a half at a bet in GM at minus one 10? Better odds and better big. I'll take it. It was on my card as well. That was going to be my third play. The only way I know. Okay. Perfect. I love it. I also consider teasing that up to six and a half and making it part of the Frappway parlay.
Oh wow. Love it. Love it. Love it. Give us your third play for the week. I think we go to Wisconsin and Notre Dame. Give me Notre Dame minus 11 and a half in the first half. Not only did Wisconsin only score more than 10 points once and their last four games or that number is wrong. They. I don't know what I tried to write on those notes. They scored 10 points. I think they only scored over 13 points once or twice last year because we talked about them. That's what I was trying to say. Yeah. They're awful. Yeah. Well, not only that, they ranked last in the country. It's 136th and first half points scored with an average of 4.3 points per game there. Dude, don't get me wrong. They brought in a lot of people. They brought in Colton Joseph from Old Dominion. They brought in Abusama from Iowa State. They rebuilt the wide receiver room entirely. I don't care until I actually see something enough that actually says, hey, you're actually going to be worth a shit here.
Just a little bit. Just a little bit. But, there's something really interesting. Noter Dame. They're not afraid to beat somebody down, especially early on in the season. Since 2022 and our Marcus Freeman, they have only played a non-top 25 team to open the season once. And that was Navy. They tortured some 42 to 3. Don't get me wrong. I am curious to see what C.J. Card does this year without having Jeremy. I love behind them. But as good as this, auction. It's an originarian price, absolutely. As good as Notre Dame's defense is, I mean, what's constant is gonna have to score a minimum of seven, eight, nine, 10 points for this to hit. And I just, I don't see a world in which they do it. The team total for the first half was the first thing I looked at, but it's at six and a half. I was very curious what it would have been if I could have teased that up to seven or seven and a half, but I can't tease first half totals in Utah. So I have no idea. But minus 11 and a half on the spread for Notre Dame here feels like a massive, easy one at minus 105.
Cool, cool, cool. That is great. I'm being very indecisive, but I feel like this game is going back to the well. I think it's going before me. I think it's that going back to the well. The time wouldn't have made a difference. So this is gonna make me go with two dogs on this show. And week one, which might bite me, pun intended. Yeah, so I got, I'm gonna go to Fresno State plus 22 and a half against USC. This team's gonna pound the rock. They're the best defense in the Pac-12. The, I should call it new Mountain West. They're the best defense by far in the new Mountain West. Very defensive team. And they're gonna run the ball, trying to kind of keep it away from USC. I don't know if they can do that, although I just wasn't impressed with USC against a much lesser team. Like San Jose State is not supposed to be a very good team. And, you know, they just made them seem better
than they were last week. So give me Fresno State. I've seen a number of people pick them. It was like a dark horse when the Pac-12 maybe sneak a college football playoff, you know, very, very dark horse. But like, I'm gonna go ahead and say that they're gonna be pretty hyped for this game. USC might actually have a crowd this week though, because the game's at six and people in LA might actually go to it when it's not 100 degrees outside. I wonder if USC is back in session if school has started yet. Oh, good question. Yeah, that might be an impact. Okay, for the second time today, I'm gonna have a similar, I mean, same game, different play. I like where your heads at. I think Fresno State to your point is gonna be able to run the football. Ray Sean Luke, I think, is really good. Donaldson's fantastic as well. And if you look at how USC specifically Lincoln Riley attacks these non-conference games early on, it's pedal to the metal on offense.
They like to move, they like to score points, they like to get out of there. They like to, unfortunately, for us last week, they like to give their third string defense some second half play. And then all of a sudden, you have to worry about a backdoor cover. Well, we get to celebrate a backdoor cover in this instance. But I want no part of that. I like your confidence in this Fresno State, but I actually wanna play it. I'm gonna take the over, the full game, over 51 and a half, because I think USC themselves, their average score has been in these games. Okay, so I'm gonna read something that I got off sports line. So Lincoln Riley has coached eight games at home against non-conference opponents in August and September. In those games, the average score has been USC 57, opponents 17. USC has never scored fewer than 42 points in any of those games. You can get USC team total over 37 and a half at minus 110. I like that as well, but I like having the full game total
because with both teams, because I do think Fresno State can move the ball. So we're gonna go over 51 and a half for the third play. Before we get into whether we want a veto, sorry, if we want to tail or fade any of these, let's hit a quick break and then let's regroup and talk through some of these. All right, we are back. Thank you guys so much for joining us on this side of the break. It is one of our favorite times of the week. Beat or tail? Yeah, let's go. Okay, we're still working through the kinks here. How do we wanna do this? Do we wanna just talk through each game real quick and see if anyone has a play? And then I also have a question. If I don't want to fade, but I just wanna tail twice, can I do that instead? We haven't talked about that before. I think it's your units and yeah, I think we can remove that limitation. I think it's your units and their units to win or lose.
We each have, we are starting the season with a hundred unit bankroll and they are your units to win or lose. Cool. I like that because I like a lot of your plays today. So let's talk through these. Or round one set of picks. We had Stanford plus 24 and a half hosting Miami. We have the Clemson LSU first half under 26 and a half. And we have the Clemson LSU under 50 and a half. I actually have a tail that I'd like to hang on. I'm such an idiot. Bobby is my best friend. And it's shaking back down. I'd like to, this is gonna shock you. I wanna go Stanford plus 24 and a half with you, Eric. This was something that I was looking at. It didn't make my final card, but I think between the travel and just the fact that Miami coming up, their last game they played was like, what, a national championship game. And now you're going to Stanford at night
and you're gonna be playing in front of 42 people. Like I just think this could be a hard game for them to get up for. And that's an awful lot of points. I don't think any of us think, what is it? I can't remember the Warren Davis, Davis Warren, quarterback for Stanford. None of us think he's great, but he just threw forward 300 yards last week. Like it wasn't bad. So I'm gonna join you on this one. We're gonna tail Stanford plus 24 and a half. I am not gonna tail your Clemson first half under Mike, but only because I already have some stake in that game. And I don't, if I miss it, I don't wanna miss it twice. Totally fair. How about you guys, anything in round one? Link shot, engage. Yes, Dave, give me a, I'm gonna take your minus two and a half for SMU versus Florida State. I'm smashing the hell out of that one. Okay, so anything, any particular points or reasoning or did I already kind of come up with something? Sorry, yeah, you asked, is Ashton Daniels?
Yeah, he's just, dude, he just looked awful. He had onto the ball way too long. Their defensive, or their offensive line got beat up way too easily by New Mexico State. Now they've got a much stronger front coming against them with SMU from what I've found so far. Kevin Jennings, he's got the fingering injury from smash and his finger in a locker. It's supposed to be pretty minor. And if his lower body is healthy this year, like he's gonna run the ball a lot more. And that's just gonna make him more deadly. SMU is bringing, I think it's like, they're 25th, I think it was, or top 25 in returning production this season. So just tons of continuity there. I think Florida State is going to continue to be at the bottom of the bottom for the rest of the season. And I was very wrong about this team last week. All right, I'm gonna follow StayFon. I'm gonna, I don't have any fades, but I am going to since we, we're in round two.
Bobby's my best friend. And it's shaking back to. Slingshot in case. I'll go overlapping sounds even though it was a glitch. I don't know why I just played all of those, but I kind of love that it did. I thought you were gonna take a double tail. Two for a moment. You can't give me, yeah, double tail gets all the sound bites. I'm gonna go with, well, I'll just follow up with you both on that SMU pick. I think like I spent a lot of last year and even coming into this year, like, well, it's Florida State. Like there's no way that they can be these underdogs and stuff. And you know, like they're gonna bounce back and show that they're Florida State, right? They are not. Like I think we have entered that era like with them. My other tail to bring a new perspective. I'm gonna tail Mike on his UCLA and Cal over 53 and a half. I love the play of just two, just like really fun college quarterbacks,
slanging it around on a Saturday. And I am down to watch that game and to be cheering for an over. So I'm gonna tail that as well. Love it. I'm also going to tail your parlay. We're gonna, oh, not that parlay. Wait, which parlay was it? Yeah, I don't know. Auburn Moneyline and Sancy Moneyline. Yeah, I agree with you. I think Boston College is gonna have a really long, hard year. I do not expect a whole lot from them. Auburn, I mean, I think this is a bold move for Debraanda to tie his fate to one DJ lag way. If it works, it's a bold move. It's a bold move, Cotton. I don't think it's gonna work out. I kind of like Auburn. I think you know, USF North, I guess, this year, bringing in the coach, bringing in Byron Brown. I think that could be pretty exciting. So give me that tail for that Auburn
and Sancy Moneyline parlay. Anything else? Round three, we got that Fresno Plus 22 and a half. We've got Notre Dame minus 11 and a half. We've got Fresno over 50, what on a half? You guys want to do anything with these? Yeah, I'm gonna make a comment on the Fresno Plus 24 and a half. That's what I think about that play. I have Stafes note, exactly what Stafes had written down, specifically of how well USC, how many points USC just scores in August and September at home? I agree with you, Eric. I was on the Fresno State team total or the future play of them getting, I think it was only seven and a half. I'm just worried about their offense. I don't know that their offense is going to be good enough to put up enough points to score here. I think USC offensively looked really crisp last week. My AVA was over 500 yards and 30 of 36. I think this is another world where USC can put up another 50, 60 points.
I think you're going to have to have at least 24 from Fresno for this to cover. And I don't think they have the offense to do that. I think in the Mountain West they're going to be fantastic because they're not going to have to score that many points. But against the pack 12. Oh excuse me. Excuse me. Is it like a pack 12 after 10 a.m. though now? Like I don't know what we get after dark scores anymore. But yeah, I just don't think the score enough points. So I'm going to I'm going to fade it. Cool, cool. Anything else? All right, hit that button, Mikey. Sorry, I was taking a. No, no, I'm here. I'm going to be so. All right, picks of the week time. Give us, and you mentioned already, Eric, what your favorite play is. Is that going to be your your show pick for the week? Yeah, we'll keep it quick. And since you tailed it, Auburn, the Auburn Moneyline and Sincere Moneyline play as my favorite play and we're making it, we're making it a show pick.
I love it. Nice and easy. How about you, Mikey? I'm going to go Notre Dame minus 11 and a half in the first half. I just think Wisconsin offense is going to be way too bad to do anything to matter. I did want to tell you on that one, but I already had tails to other ones that I need to be a little bit cautious with my early season excitement, I think. All right, my show pick is going to be Clemson LSU under 50 and a half is going to be the one I go with here. So now we get to decide if we are going to move forward with three picks or if we are going to veto any of these. I'm all in, baby. I don't hear any. I don't know. Vita's are we going to be picks this week? I put my I put. Yeah, this is this is this is great. I love our picks. This I love this card so much. I love it. Perfect. Okay. Well, I mean, there was a lot of agreeing with each other throughout only one fail lots of tails.
So that kind of makes sense that we don't have a veto here. I love it. So we're going to go with Auburn Moneyline and Sincene Moneyline as one that moneyline, we're going to do Notre Dame minus 11 and a half in the first half and then the Clemson LSU under 50 and a half. Now it is the time of the show where we just get to have the most fun ever. Um, boy, Carla, let's go. We each bring forth one leg of this three leg, Parlay. We do not get to veto or fade. We just have to go with whatever someone says here. So I'm super curious that we've already made. Thank you. And it has to be at the parlay has to come out to plus 500 or better. So just someone have a parlay calculator pulled up. I'm pulling it up now. Yeah, let's go. Mike's got it. I'm going to request to go last because I may have some deliberational mind. Okay. Let's go. Right. What do you want to go with Eric? Yeah. So I'm going to go with the, I'm going to go with another moneyline. I'm a parlay within a parlay.
You might call it parlay exception. So the inception of a parlay, we're going to another moneyline parlay for my fat boy, my FBP of the week. I'm going to the New Mexico game on Saturday. They're 10 and a half point favorites. So I like them to win. I don't know if I love them to cover. So I like them to win there. New Mexico is going to be great this year. The second leg of that. I always whenever I bet against them, I lose. So I'm going to bet for the Colorado state Rams. And I'm going to do a new Mexico moneyline plus a Colorado state money line that gets you even money at plus 100. The Rams have Wyoming coming to visit, which they have to do now being in different conferences. And so, wait, did Wyoming join the pack 12? I might have mispoked there. No. But they never played this game the first week of the season. And it's for the bronze boot. I grew up in Fort Collins, Colorado. So this is a Homer pick that I live in Albuquerque. I grew up in Fort Collins. This is the only crowd Colorado state will have for the entire season in that stadium.
And I love Jim Mora as a hire for them. Well, I love in Heydix. I don't really want them to be good. But that is such a steal of a hire. Like I will not bet against Jim Mora. So give me a UNM and Colorado state at plus 100. Yeah. And Yukon was great last year with with more and he left Colorado state. So I like that. I think both these teams win. So I don't hate this at all. I love it. Eric, can you find the numbers for each of them so that we can actually track it as a full cohesive parlay for somebody to follow along with? Absolutely. I guess I guess I added a fourth leg is pretty much how that. Yeah. We just made this a four like, which is the fratiest of boys parlay. Is it great? Yes. I'm struggling. All do y'all want to be the tiebreaker and choose which one we go with here? Let's do it loud. Okay. It is now. So you can either we're already going to be watching UCLA at Cal. I like Cal plus two. You get that out minus 105. So how ballsy do you feel with them at home?
The other one I like, you and LV travels to Hawaii minus three for you and LV. I like that one too. Both teams coming off the loss. I think you and LV is a better team here. I think that the injury to their center really through the Mofflast week, you and LV that is now. They have a whole week to prepare. You know, the minus three. Yes, it's tough going to Honolulu, but which one of those two do you like better? Cal or you know, the what was the Cal play was a plus two or minus two? Cal plus two. Home dog. I love that. I had Cal on the money line as an option for my Frappoy Parlay play. Okay. I like that too. I don't mind paying. Hey, I don't mind paying for the Frappoy Parlay this week. We got Cal plus two. All right. I don't think you guys are going to like mine, but I don't mind. 105 by the way. Oh, thank you. So we're we're going to go with a very large cover here. We just have to decide how much we want them to cover by.
I'm going to go with Indiana to beat the ever living dog shit out of North Texas. The line currently is at minus 40 and a half right now. At minus at minus one 10 and I wouldn't hate teasing it to minus 44 and a half at plus one 45. No, what's already. Well, here's the thing. North Texas, we all know they're completely diminished at this point. They they're bringing back like two star lost my. He's back. He's back. I'm back. Okay. So North Texas completely just gone at this point. They're only bringing back like two starters. All of their offensive weapons are gone. Quarterbacks gone running back. All of their thinkers are top 11. That was a state. Exactly. On top of that, they're bringing back not a single defensive starter on the entire team, brand new coaching staff, complete rebuild at the big 10 media days.
Signet he was asked, which win? Did you lose the most sleepover? His answer was old dominion because they did not beat them into the ground enough. That was week one of last year. You bet your ass. This dude has been using that nonstop to his guys. After that win last week, they won or last year and week one. They won their next three games by an average of 57 points. And they ended up winning seven games last season by more than 40 points. I get it. They lost so many guys as well. I'm all in on Josh Hoover. I know that he threw a ton of picks last year. Every pick he threw last season except for one of the 13 was either in a loss or in a one score game. But every team that they were supposed to beat and destroy, he protected the ball. He threw for 300 and four or five touchdowns. So I'll put this number at whatever you guys want to put it at between 40 and 45.
We're keeping the normal 40 in my opinion. OK. Yeah. 40. I don't want to lose a four leg parlay because we got greedy over three points. We're in the end up. When they win by 60, I'm just going to remember this moment. And it's OK. We'll be cashing it regardless. So we'll be having. I love it. So like the UNM is minus 470 on the money line, but CSU is minus 167. So that's what gets it to minus 470 and minus what? 167. All right. So our friends are for that boy parlay in at plus 623. OK. Lose. So I like it. Cool. All right. So our frontway parlay, we've got cow plus two in the end of minus 40 and a half and UNM money line plus CSU money line. And that gets us to plus 623. Listen, thank you guys so much for being here. We really appreciate it. Please do rate and review.
