How are things? Very well. Not so much, unfortunately, disappointment. And in the most irritating way else when the last gasp way is frustrating if you're the wrong on the wrong end or receiving end of it in sport. And that's what happened to Clare senior footballers. Looks like they were going to we knew they weren't going to get promoted after defeat in their previous game at home to Wexford, but they were hoping to finish with a bit of a flourish against Slago. Look like they were going to do that at Markovich Park, but then a last gasp goal. And knowingly, saw Slago win by the minimum two twenty-three to twenty-eight points. Yeah, two leg goals from the time they're ahead. And ultimately it was their center back to kick the winning point with time running out. And it came just after Clare had rattled the crossbar through Sean McAllister. It was a brilliant shot. You know, the game's level at the time. I wouldn't say anything other than he did the writing and going for writing. You know, you have to show a bit of gumption in them scenarios. And he did use very unlooking

1:00and clear a couple of goal chances that just went to Megan before, you know, it was a hand pass across the square that hit the inside of the post and broke down. And Alan Sweeney's fingertips just couldn't get to it. Like he buckled himself off the post trying to get as far as it so I just I thought Clare showed great attitude to come back. They started slowly. Slago definitely settled better. But I thought Slago or Clare showed great heart to come back into again that ultimately meant nothing to them. There was no tangible outcome whether they won last or drew Slago or batten for their lies. And as it turns out, with limerick beating from Anna Donna Raquille, Slago actually needed the victory to keep them safe. And you could see what it meant to their crowd afterwards. You know, they were really elated and a good home crowd there as well. So yeah, for Clare, it was just, I suppose it goes back into I spoke to him of Paul Madden after we'd hear from him tonight. Like, but he kind of accepted it was a frustrating finish to a frustrating campaign in a lot of ways. And you know, we began the campaign with a really good performance above and down, but didn't get the result. We finished the campaign with an encouraging final

2:01party in Slago and didn't get the results. So that sticks in the Crabbit. It sticks in the Crab, but is that kind? That's what he has to focus on ahead of the Monster Championship meeting with Kerry. Forget the results last time out focus on the performance. Yeah, I think so. And like, you know, there was a good number of players not available yesterday. I, I, I, again, I think management took the correct and mature decision. If the likes that they're McCutland and Brian McNamara weren't right for yesterday, there was no point in seeing them breaking down after 25 minutes. They're not in game and then putting them into, you know, kind of iffy territory, if the Kerry game, same a killing or wine. You know, if we get those three lads back, I think that transforms the team number one in terms of personnel, but two in terms of shape. Darryl Bohannon goes into that category as well. Maybe Emma McMahon might be okay to come back for the Kerry game. So all of the sudden there's a fair different dynamic to the team. I'm not sitting here saying that it's going to make a match winning difference. We know it's coming down the track with Kerry, but it just means that there's more options available and four or five of the lads that would have started and did well yesterday would now become your coming on options. You

3:04know, so that battle for places becomes a little bit more significant. So there's a lot to take from it, just not from a results perspective, but you know, ultimately on the last day, we're safe. People will make the argument, you know, we lost out on promotion last year through scoring difference. We didn't feature this year. I'll beat it was just that one result. The cost is bringing it down to the final day. So yeah, it's a supposed to mix bag over already. Okay. I will move on to the Kamogi where performances and results certainly gone clear as way. They finished with a six point win over awfully in and as two at 17 to 211. And that sets them up nicely for as you pointed out last time out. The division won't be final in Nolan Park on the 12th of April, where they will be meeting Eugene for decidedly meeting Dublin. Absolutely. Yeah. And again, like this was a nothing game for clear, but in a fair different context from the footballers in that they have a league final to look forward to. So in fairness to Eugene, he give plenty players their opportunity, particularly in the second half of the game. Clearable well in control in the first half.

4:05Then they start to ring the changes. And as you've seen a lot of these games, they broke up a small bit and awfully got a score or two to swing momentum their way. Six points, probably not a reflection of the game overall. Really, you're clear of fair better than that, but just it got scrappy towards the finish. And I one thing that will be kind of, I won't say no, it was certainly looking at it is that in the second half, it took until the 59 minute to get a score from play for clear. Everything else came through Russian bigly free. So, but as I said, like, you know, the flow of the game had broken up at that stage. The changes have been made and it just got a bit made to take the score. Yeah, exactly. But, you know, but they had enough got before that, you know, they were really good on your luck and got her two goals and finished them really well. So, yeah, it's really good place going down to the bottom pack now. And, you know, the structure in the Kamogi is that clear, not yet promoted, Dublin, not yet promoted. It's only the winners of the game. It's a one up, one down scenario here as we saw last year. And from being clear and went up and, you know, they went on to record a very famous victory over Carcdon in this year's campaign as well. So, I think Claire, going in a really, really good place. They look to think a really good solid structured game. They know what it's about. And, yeah,

In Canali, it's just a pity Derek that for mana had Emre Smith on the pitch because she scored two 12 there, two 15. How different it might have been if she wasn't there. We could ask me to end it. So, but isn't it like you have these the standout players, you go to the likes of tip with with Ashley McCarty and Ashley Maloney and those and they can dominate games. Chloe Mooney has done a few years for Claire so is Nivo D and, you know, obviously, this is this is from Anna's marquee player and she did the business. So, yeah, so I look again. I suppose it's it's another defeat. Em, you know, Claire did it, did it get a goal kind of made way through the second half of that game to bring it back a small bit, but ultimately it couldn't see it through and they go into the next game against Roscombe and now next Sunday. Loud play leash. Claire currently above leash in the standings. And Claire need to win. They know if they win, they'll stay open. I think that's a good position to be in. Loud are currently top at the table. So, you know, on our non-form, they should be beating leash and hopefully saving

6:14Claire's bacon in that sense because, you know, dropping to division four would do nobody any good whatsoever, particularly in the context of next Thursday where we're looking ahead to an alert and senior a lady's football final for Saint Joseph Spanish point. And, you know, we've won the alert and a minor B last year. So, there is a crop coming and you want them to come in at the most high profile scenario they can. Division four A and that division trees a good standard wouldn't be the worst thing in the world. So, yeah, big, big game on Sunday now. Okay. Make sure you check outside.
