0:00Southern Ontario is heading into April with some serious weather mood swings. Expect highs in the high teens on Monday, but twos they could pack severe thunderstorms. Then bam, models from Europe, the US and Canada all agree on a winter storm hitting Thursday and Friday, mixing light snow with freezing rain. This system's a leftover from one of the toughest winters on record, full of extreme ups and downs. Southern parts might dodge the worst, but it'll still make roads slick before spring really kicks in. Felt to already groaning after months of brutal cold and historic snow dumps. This won't shut everything down like those big storms, but it'll test everyone's patience right at the start of April. In Toronto, look for snow overnight Wednesday, temps around freezing on Thursday and about 18mm of precip turning things messy. Of North, it's rougher up to 15cm of snow and ice starting early Tuesday. By Friday though, we're bouncing back to midteens with Toronto hitting 15 degrees Celsius.
