So Dylan Larkin is coming back???

And now I'm more focused on myself and training and getting back with the guys. That's out of mind right now. Talking about any kind of contract. Uh, it's definitely something where I'm excited to get start the season and something new. I can, I can worry about, I can't worry about just getting ready for the new season. And that's my biggest priority regarding Dylan Larkin. From my perspective, he's a great teammate.

I feel like at this moment, our team is definitely better with him. And he's our leader. He's still one of the best players. That's the way it is. Interesting. Yeah. We don't know that because players understand the business of the game. And more so than we do. And I remember when I first started working with professional players, I was amazed at how much they were locked into the business of the game. That's why when games are over, like in the NFL and players walk across the field, they're hugging guys they used to play with that left, right? Yes. Uh, I think there's definitely a brotherhood when it comes to professional sports and fraternity of sorts. And, and I get all that. I think it's interesting when it comes to Dylan Larkin and where he fits in his team because I don't know. I mean, that's what Alex to bring. Can ask to say. And, and I'll take him in his word. And, and I, I'm sure that there's a percentage of players that would welcome him back. I also would think that there is a percentage of players that are not thrilled that a guy who had five years left on his contract wanted out because it seems like a hate you're abandoning us. Now, if everybody's on his same page of why he did it with nobody knows, nobody knows why he went up to to Steve Iseman and worked with his agent and asked him to tell Iseman he wants out, we can speculate all we want

Um, but I think what could help galvanize this team around Dylan Larkin again is that if you go back a couple years ago, Larkin spoke out about wanting to add to the team so that they can make the playoffs and they didn't add to the team. And then it became a public spat with he and Steve Iseman. Did the players back management? Are they going to back the players? Because the players, the one that went to bat for the team and said, we got to do this. And then the general manager at the time is the one who said, well, you guys needed to play better. And it's kind of like a smackbacked reality. I think in the end, both parties can be right. And there's nothing wrong with saying that. But Iseman lost the battle in that he's no longer running the show for the Detroit Red Wings. And now we're left at limbo with Larkin and they still haven't named. I can't believe they're here. We are on the ninth of September. We still don't have a general manager for this team. We hear every day other people being knocked out of the consideration, but still can't believe this hasn't happened yet. They go to training camp

4:09in a week. But they should get to the point where they need to know can the team welcome them back. And I'm guessing this is probably a step in the net direction. They can. But our players already, they already get used to the thought that okay, Larkin's going to be gone. So that means most ciders going to be the captain. I don't know if there's any guarantee that if Larkin is going to stay with the Red Wings, he's still the captain moving forward. Regarding the Prinkets contract, specifically, he's entering the final year of his contract. He says, when a new GM is announced, I'm sure there's going to be some conversations. But you know, as of right now, my opinion hasn't changed. I love playing for the Red Wings. I love wearing that jersey and battling with those guys out there. My intention is obviously to stay in Detroit. We'll see what happens, I guess. I like to hear it. I mean, he says the things you want to hear. And okay, that's positive for a guy who is going to be a free agent. And he's going to also be do a hefty contract given what he has done in his short time as a Red Wings. He's gone from

And when you look at what Seattle has or doesn't have right now, both teams are going to be without their starting tail backs. Travelling on Henderson is out with an ankle. And then you've got Zach Sharpen. He was on the public list. He has three tors A C L. So you're looking at backup running backs. Back up running backs. Interesting. You got a rookie going for Seattle. And then you've got Ramondri Stevenson with with New England. It always seems to push things forward. I agree with you about the the secondary. That's a problem. It's very problematic. When you've got a team that throws the ball as well as New England does. I don't think New England was a flash in the pan. I think they're building something there and they've added to that team. I think Seattle is poised to lose this game. Even though they're favorite. This is a rematch of the Super Bowl.
