Small Town Crime Wave For September 1st
About this episode
Aug 23rd - Beloit - Someone called the police to report a male was sleeping in a kayak and a Fire Dept boat was requested. Officers arrived, found that he wasn't in the water, was napping on dry land in the kayak after kayaking earlier.
Aug 23rd - Eau Claire - Callers reported that a male was laying naked on some rocks, in plain view of the public. Officers arrived, and the male initially told them a fake name, and told them that nude sunbathing was normal "in his country." Officers found out he was actually from Eau Claire. He got a ticket for Lewd and Lascivious behavior.
Aug 24th - Janesville - Intoxicated male called police. Wanted to know if he could put someone in a shipping container, and ship them somewhere. He was told "no."
Aug 26th - Juneau - Officer stopped a motorcycle going 126 mph in 55 zone.
Aug 29th - Union Center - Rockin 9 Golf Course - Group of people fighting in the parking lot over who had the worst round of golf.
I'm really hoping an officer was sent out to the mans house who asked if they could put someone in a shipping container, because like... that gives off murder vibes to me, BUT we keep it light around here so maybe he just caught an old episode of the cartoon, Garfield, and got the idea from there. This and more on this weeks Small Town Crime Wave!
