streaming live by the 5.00. A player on DAP Digital Radio. And on 13.95 am. This is 5.00. Always Adelaide. Adelaide's only local sports show. The 5.00. Sports show. Coming up the raging success of NFL down under will cross-life to the MCG. Will build up to the AFL semi-finals with Kroes Midfield coach Nathan Van Birlow. We're hit to Perth today, the Adrian Barrage. And your calls for a Black Gut Sharase. Rowie. And Timmy G. The 5.00. The 5.00. Sports show. Yes, hello and welcome to the Rustin's Fun Friday. We have a great time on Fridays and we give away a bottle of that magnificent Rustin's Black Gut's just for contributing and maybe, you know, being the best of whatever we're going to ask you about. And that will come up very soon. But the, well, the youngs are in town. The young kids invaded us.
Rowie, welcome. Yeah, it was fantastic. Want it? I mean, over 100,000? Yeah. My team, the 49ers won. Yes. So I did it in style too, which was interesting. All they cared, the other team did. Two different preparations. The 5.00. Doesn't work. Ask me. 27 to 7. You would say that they got the preparation right. So it was quite a bizarre entry. I was being told that they, they, they left and tried to sleep overnight as they came in. Mm hmm. Went to the hotel, but stayed awake. But they, sorry, they went straight to bed at about five and woke up at about two and stayed awake. They tried to treat it like it was a night game over there. Yeah. Yeah. So they were on their tom's own. Yeah. And they're all getting on the court and back. Yeah. And they're straight on and back. But I would say fail for LA Rams. Well, they, the Rams mocked the 49 sleep schedule. Yeah, they did. They did. They ran in the air. Yeah, it was that the, they scored their seventh point. Got a touchdown. They went, ran, took the ball, went to nine eyes for sleep on the ground.
You know what? You went to sleep after that. Well, over a hundred thousand. I think that's one event that our premier is not going to be able to steal. When that stadium is chockers and it's humming and they do it like that. That was resume task. I brought it up a couple of nights ago where I said they're going to have a problem with the clash at some stage and they're going to have that 150th ashes test series next year. Yeah, but I reckon next year's our best chance to get it here just for one year. Yeah, but what are we going to be able to do it as good as that? Well, sound stadiums, no, we're near as big or as Super Bowl goes everywhere around the United States. And they go to venues that are only like 60 pounds. So they're in the head 200 million. And that's what they're after. They're after the eyeballs. And you imagine Adelaide Oval set up for one of those. Put a few. Go get it, Pete. A little sneaky. You know what I'm saying? Make it six to go. We can do it. Live golf, Steve. Go get it, Pete. Yeah.
Yeah. What? I don't even know what you're talking about. What's live? Yeah. Look, they came to town. They got a hundred thousand. As you said, there was a really nice little moment in the game too, which I'll come to in a moment. But here's the final sign to see the 49ers win. And the first ever NFL regular season game in Australia. And impressive. Second half dominating performance from the seventh Cisco 49ers. And they took this week one NFC West Showdown 27 to seven over the ramps. Your perty blood. Brock perty. Brock. He was awesome. Yeah. He touched the answer. It was like some of the plays he'd moved were one of these. I reckon that's thrown it 50 out. Yeah. It was unreal. Well, the other rooster, the five vote, the quarterbacks, he's the he's the standing MVP. Yeah. But he's stunk it up. He was not with it. He was jet lagged. He was wobbly. I thought we'd ever look at the biggest crowds. Billy Graham, religious crusade in the 50s, 140,000 at the MCG.
121,696, the 1970 grand final. That's the biggest grand final. Carlton Collin with That's the biggest. They had a Catholic Eucharist in 1970 and over 120,000. St. Kilda Hawkes grand final, Ed Sheeran concert, 109,500, 108,000 coming up, five, and six. Crows ones up there, the Crows Richmond grand final, 100,021. Exactly the same number. Wow. That was 27,000? Yeah. The same crowd as today. There you go. Massive. Well, little coincidence. Yeah. I'm all done. And I think they've definitely ticked it off as a success. They'll come back with a lot of enthusiasm, I think. So two of the top three crowds at the MCG have been religious gatherings. Yeah. The Collin religious gatherings. Get on board, man. Boy, yeah. There was a nice little moment in the game. Yeah. A nice little tip of the hat to Australian rules. And it was this moment and we'll describe it a bit more for those that are on radio.
Is that Ed Bell? And you see right here, the Australian rules football signal for the good field goal. So they kicked a field goal and instead of putting their two hands right up above their heads, they do. They did the old Aussie goal, I'm proud. I thought that was awesome. There's a nice little tip of the hat. So who did it the break that kicked it? The referee. Oh, the ref. The actual ref went like that. They should have ran out of all the hat and a white coat. Oh, I had to. Had to. And if he got hit by one of the players, do that bloke in the 1970s. He was staggered along and fell over. What are the best things about the NFL, I think? Because we don't know the rules. We don't sit there for a half of the game bagging the rest. No. You think about it? I thought about this thing. No, that's what it was. That's right. You just watch it for the pure athletic athletic game that it is. And it's a bloody powerful game. God, they hit hard. I know that we have pads and all that, but they are. Just goes too long. In crit, yes, it does incredible athletes, but because you don't know the rules, you bag them. I call football for double A.
We're not now because I've pinned a, you know what? But I reckon I'd spend half the call bagging the umpires and bagging the referees and bagging the decisions and all of that. What are we the worst? You're looking at me. I'm so tense. Three quarters. I reckon you're. I reckon you might have already achieved that goal. But if you're home now and you support Crow's reporter, whoever, you think about how much you worry about the refs or the umpires, whatever you want to call them. Yeah. The green tree frogs. That's the game. But we must be the most bagged, umpiring sport in the world. Yeah. The thing about our game, though, it quickly moves. So it's gone again. You've got to keep going with it. Yeah. I haven't had that that stop down time to sort of. You know what I'm going to. Because it's got to keep going. Yeah. I think it's in 30 seconds later. There's another. There's another one. We won't let you down. Look, um, it all seriousness. It was a nice nobody, but there's a very important game out there. Brisbane take on Adelaide. It is a knockout final. Lots of people traveling up there heard on the breakfast show this morning.
Here is the captain and the coach of Adelaide. Jordan Dawson, Matthew Nicks on the big day. You know, Sammy Final against the rating premieres. It's massive for us and something that I'm really looking forward to and seeing what the group can do. We played them during the year up there. So we got to the same venue. This one's a night game. That was during the day. We took up a pretty young side into that. And they touched us up. There's no doubt about that. Yeah, we're taking a different side with this time round. And we've probably got a little bit of momentum, a little bit more than we did at that point. Well, nine different players for starters. Yeah. They're all pretty good ones. Here are my Crow Zips. If Rankin Dawson filled up in no particular order are the Crow's three best players. If they get 55 inside 50s and all those 55s inside 50s, they have 12 marks. And have around 8, 9, 10, 11 or 12 different goalkeepers break even center square and stoppage. They win the pressure differential. We know that they've won every game this year when they win that. That's that end of story. They win. There's a few ifs there. Yeah. There's a lot of ifs.
If they got that right, I am confident they can win. Brisbane have got one if. What is it? They bring their best before quarters where no chance. That is a giant ifs though. You know, they got to bring their best and they got to do it for four quarters. That's what I'm saying. Yeah. If Brisbane bring their best before quarters, which is heat ball moving, scoring, they win. Where no chance. But if we do that, but I'm giving ourselves a chance. There's no notice. There's no waiting 12 over to. There's no. No, no, no. No way. No, no. I'm down to business tomorrow. Well, down to business, Timmy. These two stats that I thought eerily similar. Oh, LA of the two clubs. Brisbane are 100% win percentage when the pressure metric, when they win the pressure metric. So at late, I think it's an exact same boat. They're the second highest, I think, pressure team and when they're at their number, they win. They win. Same with them. The other one is lines have scored from 50% of their inside 50s ranked number one.
In the IFL, what are Adelaide good at? If efficiency inside 50. Oh, well, that too. Aren't they? That is eerily similar. They're very similar. I reckon it's that. How they move the ball from deep fiend. I reckon it's the racer who gets the most inside 50s when you look at that. But what that's what I'm saying, they get 55 of crows can't lose. The last two losses they've had that allow you. They can. They can if they allow their 65. So do you think we can win? And when it's being in the cross. I wouldn't put my heart earned on it. But it's not that you wouldn't be surprised. I'm not shocked or stunned if it happened. There you go. On the same. Good work. What that's the same page. On same page. Look at that. A little bit of Port Adelaide news. Heath Uni has been pointed the head of development. So they're reshaping that team and I. Yeah. I worked a little bit with Heath terrific. Oh, no. I think real real good head on his shoulders been good in that area of youth development. Exactly what Port need. That's a great appointment.
So that's an excellent one. Now we are going to have a little bit of fun in the moment, right? Because we always like it on a Friday. For that Rustin. Rustin, like that's fun. Yeah. All right. Here's the Americans enjoying Australia and trying to maybe feel their way through. Listen, have a listen to some of their grabs. I have officially made it to Melbourne. Melbourne, cricket ground. Serimoneal meat pies. I'm not sure how to. I got a severe growth infection from Newing, I did like nine. Shoes in a row. It was insane. Pretty right. Pretty. Pretty. I don't quite get us to do that. No, don't get out language. But they are a bit insular. We spoke about it with Ben Graham last night. They hardly ever leave the country. No, because they think it's a big trip. Because they still think today it's a flat earth. Well, they would leave America. They'll fall off the edge. I heard something. They said if you hop in a plane for 15 hours, how are you still on this planet? Yeah. That's a extraordinary quote. That they were stunned at the 15 hour flight. And I'm thinking of myself, we're not went to London about four years ago.
It took, we had to fly a Perth first, which was that three and a half. Get on a kite there. 17 hours. Yeah. To get there. There's 20 and a half already. I mean, they just don't get it. Do they? No. They know what they're saying. They're called oculisms. Is that the word? Try again. Coloquial. Yes. What did you say? Our great Aussie saying. So, yeah. I'm saying either. A strut in sports saying. Let's leave it. What is the word? What is the example? Coloquialisms. Yeah. That's a massive word. It's a mouthful. Could you spell it? Yeah. It's the mouthful. Let me use it now. I don't need so many. I have any syllables. Look great. Aussie sporting saying. So I thought of our game too. And I thought there's a couple of beauties in the world. There's a couple of beauties in there. Things like Wernburner. You know when you kick along the ground and they kill some worms. They kill some worms. I love this one from the crowd. He's been doing it all day. I think it's one that they won't get. Oh, it's Chuck the wobbly.
Yeah. It's Chuck the wobbly. What about, oh, God, he kicked it. He's got chewy on his boot. Chewy on a boot. Chewy on a boot. Love it. He's a snake. Kick the snag. Socks a troll as well. Goes with that. This is one of my favourites. Which one? A cosplay in front? Whoa. Oh, that is an absolute belt, I absolutely mistaken it. That is crazy rock. Oh, it's front of me. Right, front of me that's coming towards重 in this state. There's much more to end about it and sporting scenes for a bulk ofסnbl. Alto we got the mouth it that's a peaches that you know, a lot of those. that's not that's a good one too. I think I think there's a lot of great Aussie saying that they're sporting saying because you want to teach the Americans when I teach the Americans and send them off on their 15 hour flight back home. 8223 double I double I is the number. Yeah, not that good. It's so different. Carl, that was a good one. Yeah, you're dirty bludger. Hello, Nick. Hey, guys, how you going? Good. What sporting signing if you got Nick? It's actually one of my old man's. He's got about a million most of them, which I can't say on radio, but somebody drops a sitter of a chess monkey. Rubbergab. Rubbergab. Rubbergab. What up, the come and watch a footy within. Yeah, hello, Brian. Yeah, I think when we're young, we used to be behind the goalsclair. And if they go, picked him with this yellow, how big is your go this big. God, that's bigger than a T. I mean, that's classic.
That is clever. They wouldn't get that. Let's go to our park and get a Ralph. Get a fella's out. All right. Got a sporting Aussie sporting slang saying. Yeah, I let it couple, mate. I like the legendary KG Kalingam. Remember the great Ian Dave from Channel 9? Yes. The old Ariel ping pong. Ariel ping pong. That's that stayed with us for a long time, hasn't it? Yeah, and during the late 70s, they had the Makita mark of the day. And when you got for a mark, you stayed Makita. That's true. That's true. They wouldn't know that one. My brother married a Californian girl. They divorced now. It was awful. But when he first brought her to Australia, they flew into Sydney, got in the air. The cabin went, it was in summer, went to their hotel. And she's looking out the window. There's a lot of fields of cricket is playing. She's going, what are all those doctors doing out there? Just something as simple as that. Because they all like. Yeah, that's it. Hello, Andy. Yeah, look, I'd love to be on a real post with a
gang in the crowd. And when it gets really close and really exciting, you just look at him, you say they've got to get it down to the old timber. Oh, and down to the tall timber line. That's a good dirt says agate. I call it agate. Yeah. Get the agate. Where did that come from? What's an agate? Well, yeah, we'll go into that later. Let's go to Brian. Go Brian. Now I know what it is. You're going to go below the belly button. Yeah, that's it. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Okay. Brian. That's it's fish. That's fish. Just because you got a head like a spark like doesn't make you a champion. Oh, very good. Very good branding. Now that's good branding. I'm a last choice. So I was to remethal like that. Oh, no, no. Double two, three, double, double, double. Keep him coming to our Rustin, 40 Friday. What for? Oh, my goodness. The unique sporting sayings we have in Australia that the angst wouldn't get will take your call shortly and remember everyone that's on here is on the standby list to win tickets to the 2026 grand fund.
The five AA Sports Show, Rowie and Timmy G. Vehicle damaged, remember three fees, pro paint and panel. They'll take care of everything, including insurance. Rowie and Timmy G, the five AA Sports Show. Are you trying to step me up and get in trouble here? If we're right, can do one. I'm going to try to fight. I'm going to try to find one of the stands. That's what I'm going to try to do. That is George Kittle, one of the 49ers players saying he's going to have his shoey after the game. Well, he was pretty emphatic as well as press conferences. Really keen to have one. That's another word that probably Americans have no idea about it. Shoey, we're asking for a unique Aussie Sports saying if you're chance to win a Rustin Black Catch Shraes. A double two, three, double, double, is our number. Let's head across to the MCG. What a day. Absolutely. Huge day. A hundred thousand people turned up at the MCG to see this game between San Francisco, 49ers and the Los Angeles Rams. Well, the 49ers were very, very impressive.
And over there, well, over there in Melbourne is Phil Murphy. Welcome. Hey, good morning. Good afternoon. Good morning. I'm not on East Coast, US time. It is early morning back home in the United States. And those who didn't stay up to watch the game are waking up to the news that San Francisco looked the part of title contender and Melbourne looked the part of an NFL city. It was a great Friday morning here. It wasn't an amazing spectacle. I thought they did a great job. But we sort of felt like it was our mini Super Bowl here in Australia. But I thought the color of the glamour, the entertainment at all, it all hit the mark. Yeah, I mean, it's not hyperbole to say this week felt like a Super Bowl week. I'm blessed enough to have been to 11 Super Bowls. In those towns, you know, on the Monday of the game, we can, the Tuesday, the game week is a little bit quiet. And then by Wednesday, Thursday, they think kind of picked up and you have fans from all over the United States in that sense. And some international fans coming in, Belman had that feel about it and the signage in the
NFL shops popping up. And then the game itself, we're sitting there in our pre-game show on ESPN at like 10 o'clock this morning. And I'm looking up and I couldn't find an empty seat. And it's 10 a.m. on a Friday. And you have all these different NFL jerseys predominantly 49ers and rams, but people who just barrack for teams all over the NFL. So this is their chance to see the NFL live. And this is why the NFL is fans as far as this and that was the question stateside. Why should the NFL play a game in Australia? It's because of this because he's been the burden. They're just setting alarms at three, four o'clock in the morning. I'll see him to see the CD games on TV. They deserve to see the product in person and they showed out 100,000 plus at the MCG. It was awesome. Phil, we're very, very proud of Zozzi's. I thought it was a lovely little tip of the hat when the referee signaled for the field goal. And he did the Australian goal on par signal of two fingers straight out in front. Yeah, I've seen some of the 49ers players say they were going to do that if they scored a touchdown. It was like, okay, cool. You know, like the goal and ZZ rules like, you know, the Crow's
border, whatever. But the referees doing it caught me off guard. The NFL used to joke. It's good for the no fun week where guys weren't allowed to celebrate. They sent you know, let their hair down a bit. But the referee is having that little wrinkle, that little tip of the cap at the MCG was really in work. And it's just, yeah, something that you and I talk about in this viral moment, but it just shows that they get it. They understand when they go into another market that not all fan bases are the same, but it's okay. It's like discovering a new flavor of ice cream. Obviously, the students scored a little bit differently and went a little more fervor, frankly, than most across the world. And it's why the NFL, I think, is very glad that they came here and it made that heavy list. Just fly across the Pacific. And why I do think that several NFL clubs are going to be queuing up to the next in line to play here. Do you know what a five-fire is? A five-row? Yeah, a fly in, fly out. We do that in the rural Australia for the minds and it doesn't work. Cost a lot of money and they don't perform well. Well, that's what the Rams did. Twenty-eight years before kickoff, they flew in and now they're flowing out. They stunk enough
fuel. They didn't treat it sensibly. And the night is worth no butt shakes. Yeah, it's not, it's not second guessing. If you're first guessing, I was on Fox Cody earlier this week and they asked me who's got to travel right. And I said reflexively, it was in Francisco. I've made this trip a handful of times and never once have I felt like myself until I don't know day three. Yes. And I don't care what these scientists are saying. The Rams said they flew out. Those scientists aren't trying to tackle George Dittel. They're not trying to prevent being tackled by a Fred Warner. And not only did the 49ers get the sleep right, they got the marketing right. They were out here holding flags football, clinics and elite schools and hanging in the community and finding their local baristas. Every neutral fan who was here was won over by the 49ers. This was meant to be a Rams home game. And when the Rams trotted onto the field, it was to a course of booze. It felt like we were in Northern California in the Bay Area. So absolutely. I mean, I said from the start, I didn't understand the Rams logic. And even that when they said, oh, we're going to stay in West Coast
time. They had a walk through yesterday at Marvel Stadium at 5 p.m. That's midnight in LA. I've never seen an NFL team have a walk through at midnight. So they violated their own protocol and they looked flat in this game and they got flattened by a division rival. Yeah. Well, jet lag kicks in. They say the first 12 hours after you arrive and Stefan, he's a star quarterback. No question about that. He looked like he was drunk. That's our jet lag. He was and and perdi was just superb. Yeah, perdi. I think had maybe one bad throw otherwise. He said it all been quite nicely. And he played a great, a great dispense. But yeah, I don't want to say it was a flawless performance by San Francisco. Week one's always a little funky because he haven't settled in for a bit yet. But I think part of San Francisco getting here a week early, I don't want to be polyenish about it. But I think there's some merit to it is that they did have a little bit of camaraderie. They were away from families. They were the team was able to go out the team meals and have a little bit of extra time
together. So it wasn't just that jet lag of the Rams, but some of the tight-knit nature of the 49ers. The San Francisco team, they won 12 games in a playoffs game a year ago. They were, I don't know what I understand why they've been kind of an afterthought in some of these NFL previews. But this is a very realistic contender. It wouldn't surprise me at all. If you and I were having a chat on Super Bowl Week and San Francisco's involved in the game. Wow. That'd be good, Phil. Sorry, you tell them either Wags didn't come. You know what a Wags? Yes, no they did. I saw this kid all I saw this McCaffrey. I saw this sick. They were here, but the teams, the teams certainly had a lot of like team bonding time and practice time away from that. But yeah, I mean, the plus ones were present. Phil, the entertainment, they had a little bit of from the US with the Jonas Brothers. They had Dauron, Cody Simpson, Australian Olympic swimmer, sing our national anthem. They had paperplanes at half-time. That sort of stuff was really well
accepted and probably something that maybe we adopt ourselves here. Did you think they got all of that right? Absolutely. Yeah, and I saw some of the pre-week plans that they were going to do in the flyover and all that. And really the question how they got that right is how does the arena respond, right? I mean, I could sit here and tell you a week ago, like, oh, this is going to be a cool plan, but if you know 100,000 don't respond to it, then yeah, they didn't get it right. No, I mean, the game actually wasn't competitively. It was a 27 to 7 final. It was pretty lopsided and not a lot of intrigue in the final moment. But the songs they were queuing up at three-fourters time, sweet Caroline, 80, 100,000 people are singing that song and they did really, really well with the presentation of it. I know it was a multiple faceted effort from the MCG and the MCC and the NFL and the Victorian tourism board and all that. It's a complicated thing. It can turn into a corporate mess. They got it absolutely bang on right and they deserve
a standing ovation and that's why I think sooner rather than later, as the NFL goes back and they have all the metrics and talks to the team. The question isn't going to be when do we need to go back to Australia, but when and we come back to Australia. Oh, great stuff. We're welcome. Thanks, too. Well, feel pressure. Your time. Alright, boys, enjoy the rest of that. We'll do indeed. It was the 49ers over the Rams, 27 to 7 big victory, 100,000 and 21 people attended at the MCG. Histak. And the goal. On the 5 AA Sports Show. You know, are you a crouchy? Good day, Rowie. Beautiful day out there today. It is a magnificent day. It's season start to turn. No question about that. Let's turn our attention to the crows playing Brisbane at the Gamer. We played them right around seven and lost by
some. We're near 10 goals. 52 or 54. What are some bond butts? Edwards, Mali, Toby Murray, Peatley Perth. There were nine different players in that team of this team. This is a totally different team. Yeah, I think they're more settled to for sure. I feel like, um, yeah, the team we've spoken about all year. They had a few changes throughout the year. They rested a lot, but I feel like at the moment, they're pretty settled. As a squad, they look pretty, um, they look pretty good. I think obviously Taylor coming in for Isaac coming this week. The only change going up to Brisbane, but yeah, obviously a big challenge going up there and Brisbane coming off a bad loss as well. Big cool, one. Yeah. And Isaac, what comes in is a really loved teammate. Like he's in the leadership group. Um, he's a someone selfishly way. It goes about it. So it is a big call from the coaching staff to to bring Taylor in, but he's formed up until the end of that hamster. Yeah, pretty solid. So he's at a great year. There must be conflict that his ham screen's going to stand up as well. Yeah, it hasn't been that long. Has it? Was it? We ended up in about two or two or three weeks of time he actually plays. So, um, yeah, they must be coming from it. Must have been only a minor
strain to getting back out there, but he's an important part of that forward line. So, um, yeah, there must be candy getting back. So coming was more a wingman with, with Cook on the other wing. So it imagined that R.C. may go up there. Celigo may go up there. Alex new bull and may go through there. Even then, Curtis can be half back back up onto the wing. They've got plenty of options for that. I thought last year, Kurt on one winging and, um, coming on the other wing for the whole year, we're just terrific. That was a real, uh, positive to the team. They've had a bit of a settled look with Cook as one wing, but the other one they haven't, because Dan's now in the midfield and we want that. Yeah. So how do you reckon that'll play into it on that deck? Yeah, I just spoke about that. I've got some options. I think the one I reckon will play most on that'll be Neil Bullin like he's running capacity to be able to get up and down the ground. He's, he's, um, is really, really good. So I think he'll play a little bit there. I think Archie as well. He's, he can get up the ground and getting involved as well. So I think those two will be the main ones that that go through that wing, um, for coming. What do they have to get right tomorrow?
I think, I think it's going to be a midfiel battle again. Like Brisbane, the personnel that got going through there, got Neil, the Ashcroft brothers, um, Barry McLeod. Yeah, McLeod. They've got some superstars. I think it's going to, it's going to start in in the midfield and, um, from Centre Bounce. I think that's the key. Like Brisbane got beaten convincingly from Centre Bounce last week as well as the Crow. So, um, yeah, I think Brisbane was saying they're negative 10 against this one. So I think that's where it's going to start, but I think general play wise, Brisbane are renowned for that kick mark style and, um, I think that's what Sydney did to them last week. They made a live ball game with the balls on the ground a lot and their Sydney's pressure was, to a really high level. So I think the Crow's won't want them to be able to control the ball all day. Yeah, God, if there's one thing Brisbane could do well is bring the heat to four quarters, that there's something the Crow's could do well. It's bringing the heat, Timmy, you said it. The number one and two in that area. Yeah, yeah, they're pressed both campaigns pressure games to lead. Yeah, yeah. The one thing you both do well is inside 50 is efficiency and scoring from those inside 50s, it's probably a race to whoever gets the most. If somebody can get the 61st, probably
ends up winning the game. The thing about Brisbane the last six weeks, they've been in the harsh scoring games and average at 209 points. So they score, but you're scoring as well. Yeah, yeah, and that's the thing. I think Crow's really pride themselves on their defense and their pressure. But Brisbane in terms of their offense, they've got some weapons haven't they? They've got some of the best kicks in the competition. Their four-line with Cameron and Logan Morris and these guys, Zach Bailey, head of the ball. They've got some guys that can hit the scoreboard, but so do the Crow's don't they? They've got some powerful fours as well. So it's going to be a great battle. Did you see the beginning of the Brisbane Sydney game? Yeah, I thought Brisbane and we saw the result of it, but I thought they had a few players a little bit selfish. They went a little bit me, me, me, and that's unlike Brisbane. Do you think that'll be pretty well highlighted, firstly by Fagan, but you know, sort of drilled down as, begin to do that and come sit with me? Yeah, I heard actually, I think it was one of their players talking about the review after that game and I think Fagan went pretty hard, worked with reports. I think it was Josh Duncliffe,
spoke about it. Because there was some blatant, I would say, selfish moment. Yeah, I've seen a couple as well, especially in front of Garldo's a few that... Like a morris. Yeah, yeah, they've seen a couple of things as well. Oh, I'm not a diamond shine. And knowing how good of a team they are, they obviously, they've been very successful. So they won't want to stand for that. So every time they've been beaten, convincingly, this year, and they've had a couple where they've been beaten smashed. That was the fourth, I think. Yeah. They've sort of bounced back the next week. So I'm sure the Crow's will be on the... So we're no chance. No, I think the opposite road. I think we're a match of show. Yeah, I'm really looking forward to seeing what the boys can do. Because I think I think they've started to play some really good 40 at the right time and I think they're a huge show. Yeah. Rankin, Dawson, Phil, thought if they're our or in our best, if we can get multiple scorers, the three big tools do well and we get over 55 inside 50s, there's no reason why they can't win. Yeah, yeah, I agree. I then, then A-Gray guys, they've been... I think Rankins, we've obviously touched on him so much how important he's been.
I think Dawson will get a bit of attention from Dunkley. He's tagged him in the past and I think he'll play on him around Stoppage as well. But yeah, those important players and A-Grayers are the ones that win these finals. Now, tell me if this is a ridiculous comment and I like to think, and I like to get a bit forward and I like to think forward. I just do. Hort thought of sitting there at the MCG a Friday night prelim as the home team after a week's rest. And now Sydney, ours well. Most people thought Brisbane was going to smash Sydney and Sydney just bought it. Now they're sitting back there all this week, you know, on the SCG. I reckon whoever wins these two final. So a three-manal beat, Jolong, and they will then win that prelim and at the Crowsbeat Brisbane or Brisbane beat the Crows, they'll win that prelim. So the grandfile is for playing this weekend. The grandfile is for playing this weekend. So Hort thought and Sydney... ...are out. ...are out. I'm going to plug it back by the thing. There's a big call. That is a big call. I think, yeah, it's obviously a long year isn't it? So having a bit of a spell
here on it might be an advantage, but yeah, that is a big call, Roy. Could not have jumped down my throat. How you gonna do it? How are you, Sam? That's a big call. I like it. I can't call, but I guess. Let's make sure it can happen. I reckon one gets through. Well, okay, if Brisbane beat us, do you think Brisbane can beat Hort thought at the MCG? Yeah, they can. Of course they can. And if Fremail get their act together, one in wins, get their act together and have a really good win against the match hard and finals team like Jalong, you reckon they could go to Sydney and beat them? I would say no. Oh, you reckon? I wouldn't be so Sydney-A-Rin. I'm thinking Sydney-A-Rin. Okay. Whether they can do it on the day, I think like... Now this is the flight over here that beat Sydney to beat Brisbane by 40 points plus. You're on Sydney. Yeah. Yeah, I think that's a good call. That would be a big win. I think we're in. $21. Oh, was it? Yeah, we're 50 on that. Oh, damn, we're responsible. Yeah. You're a tiny five, I don't know what that means.
He walked into work. $100 night for Lady's Pop. He didn't even bend over and pick it out. He actually left it. And he's just very kind of on the half-fold. Half-folded claim. So just give us a sentence, how the crows win. I think that within the midfield, I think that's going to be the battle. And then if they can restrict Brisbane's mark, kick-mark game, I think that's going to go a long way as well. Yeah. How do you stop the kick-mark game? I'll tell you aggressive, you know, defensively in your four-half to try to try and to stop that. I think if you can play four-half-folding... Is it his final pressure? Yeah. Or is it just... Yeah. Yeah, and behind the ball, if you can get... The defenders call it pro-active and really squeeze the ground. So hopefully the crows can do that. I'm sure they would have been focused on that this week. I love Joshi Waron. I love Miller. They were around two best last week, or two of our best, Errankham says, hello. But if we have to rely on Waron to have another 10 intercept marks and Miller had to go at 100% from 27 positions, I think we might be in a bit of trouble.
Yeah, I think we need... That was their final. Four-half-folding that. Yeah, we need to get the ball inside 50. And centre-bounces is the one. I think that's where you can really lock it in there. And I think that's going to be a massive part of the game. It's an exciting game. I can't wait to see what happens. God, I can't wait. Can not wait. I'm tipping the crows, Maddie, boy. One goal. One goal? But I don't. Done. Done. All right, Matt. Well, we love your confidence. It's going to be a massive game. It's going to be a massive game. Well, let's see. Hey, confidence is confidence. It's a double Maddie! Let's see how they go. It'll be live on five. Thank you, Crouchy. We'll get you a wrap during the week after other weekend. Whatever you need to leave it. Don't just send it, A.C. And when you do, you're helping them support over 25 sporting clubs and break through Menohil III Search Foundation. Don't just send it, A.C. A.C.A.C.A.S.A.S.A.S.A.S.A.S.A.S.A.S.A.U. Time for the news at five. And Nathan Van Buele, the midfield coach, to tell us more next.
To the team, Nathan Van Buele was the crow's preparing for their cup-throat semi in Brisbane. We crossed a perth ahead of the dockers and cats tonight with Adrian Barrage. Plastery McCallough gives us his racing tips and all your calls for a bottle of black gacha rays. Rally at CMEG. Rally at CMEG. The B.A.C.A.S.A.S.A.S.A.S.A.S.A.U. Well, the closer we get to this semi, the more confident I'm getting and I don't know why but maybe our next guest can share that with me. Crow's semi is set day nine. It's burst of lines at the gabbour and it is 100% a winable game at our best. Joining us is Ed Lade's mid-fill manager Nathan Van Bale.
AVV welcome. Kidd O'Rally, hi, Jimmy. Thanks for having me on. On your way back. There is no doubt for four quarters. Your best is good enough. Yeah, we've only believed that too and we know that is the case. Being able to deliver that against arguably the best team in the comp over the last couple of years. And it's easy to say it's been done but that's certainly the task that we've set of failed this week is to play our brand of footy for as long as we possibly can and that's the angle of four quarters. Yeah, Nixie's keyword all week is being belief and that win against the ball dog should certainly give you that. Yeah, I mean, it certainly wasn't our strongest game of footy for the four quarters but what we did what we're able to show in that last quarter was real resilience and grit and some learnings from I guess some losses in the past where we got headed in that last quarter we're able to regroup, structurally straighten up and then finish off really strongly. So that was a big part of building belief with the group and got that first final win out of the way now
and fairly focused on a big challenge tomorrow. And when you lose, Bimitum, do you be able to turn around like you did in a cutthroat fine like that mid-quarter that certainly would give you a belief was bloody impressive. Big call, Taylor for coming. Yeah, really tough decision this week. It was probably, it has been the toughest call about to make him my time back at the footy club and we're very fortunate at the moment. We're extremely healthy as the playing squad. So we felt as a match committee that Zach Taylor is playing a really important member of our group at this point, obviously missing the one day not from the DWS injury. And just feel like he had a a bit of polish to our front half and just I'm on, I'll be the most amount of touches down there what he does helps us score and I guess get our system going. Really important member we felt needed to come in and unfortunately, I was at coming with one this week and he's really unlucky off the back of a strong performance last week.
Well, you're in this sort of shape that often means that you've got a healthy squad and you're all fit and fine. We're hoping that that composition of the spots continues for a number of weeks yet. Well done. There was one thing you'd like of your midfielders or demand if your midfielders to get right tomorrow, what would it be? Yeah, we had a good discussion this week around our contesting particular and on the weekend around 10 abouncement let us out down in that space and when we take our hats off the board of the and all these 10 abouncements, but we happen to be coming up against another one this weekend. This is a vying. So a massive part of the game and we put our back under too much pressure last week with our inability to get that spectacular game on our terms at least even this evening that contest. So we've gone to work this week and we're hoping that we're in much better shape comes tomorrow night to stop each not just then about and stop each in general for the line to be part of and playing their forward half foot in game and and putting you under the pump. So we know that's going to be a big part of getting a fine and getting that game on our terms.
There were plus 10 center square. You do that tomorrow. You lose end story. I had a look at a few of them and I love you. You're the manager of that midfield area. This is center square. Was it McCandry's direction he was heading? Was it the structure? Was it the personnel? Was it was it how you set up? Because good he got his glove on to a lot of them but they shocked you guys Nathan. Yeah they were they were onto a few. Were they? Which happened every week and I think we do that a lot of the same teams as well and we felt we're able to force the scramble in there. Enough funds to be able to at least half that contest and get it going our way. It's fun to tell you Richard's and employees were two good at ground level and I made his pay. So you know part of it is if we're able to force that scramble game but it's not a clean exit for them and we're able to get it back on our terms. We need to be able to make sure we at least win our fair share then it's not half those contests and too many times I'll put well we get give it back to them and they went inside deep and put our backs under pressure particularly in that third quarter.
Yeah we're going to try and arrest that at best because of the chance of row night and we've been really fortunate this year that's watching McCandry's now to give us more than his fair share looks in there so we need to make sure we're maximising that. Well I think he's the number one center square at Ruck Tapper. Not the clearance number but to get his hand on it. Can you change that up? Gone to picket style. Can he hit it forward? Can you change his hit spots? Can you do something different that can open it up that they can't pick you off? I mean he is at times that dominant. Him to rank and if they could work something out whacking it forward. See how gone wax it forward sometimes VB? I never see us do that. Yeah yeah yeah we've easy said and done some time We've certainly gone to work this way with I guess have a look at a different couple options for us in there. Locky has his preferred hit spots at the moment and he's been out I guess get that down to a fine art this year and get some dominant looks for us in there. As you said, all proteins have gone to work about a picket's off a number of times so I'll be able to keep the monitors
while using all parts of the vehicle as a big part of keeping the monitors and hopefully to my not well but to do that understanding as well that Saper and Fort certainly be very good luck in their own right and they're able to access full parts of the circle as well so we're going to have our work cut out for sure. I know Nathan watching the Sydney game I thought Locky Neil they curved his influence did you sort of have a look and see how they were able to do that? Yeah I mean the swans were unbleabeled with the way they executed last week and James Robon was the one that went to Locky Neil last week and put a fair bit of work in women around Stoppage we've had a look at that and I guess Robon was able to still impact off his own do and have an impact off into the himself. So I've got you know in Manacale so Will Ashkov has formed this year's being unbelievable locking up the number one clearance fire and throw rainer in the mix when he comes up down the ball and done cleased as honest as they get around the contest. So we know that got started and coming in and out of there they're likely on the move in there
which can be challenging at times but I think if we get our message right we'll see at least as we get our fair share of clearance work down the other way and get in that forward look. They have very good at scoring inside 50 I think they're number one at that conversion but you guys are very good at that as well it's it probably comes back to that that midfield battle doesn't it? So the race to getting the most inside 50 could be the winner. Yeah it's a bit of that to me for us as well it's about not just getting it inside 50 because if we just blaze away inside 50 they're going to be tall behind the ball and they'll give Harris Andrews and the Lyke everybody good look at it and we know how strong they are in the air so it's going to have to be with this good message and at times it's just going to be our forward our feet forwards is getting the border ground and actually think we'll have an advantage if we'll ever get it to ground and like you said we have been physically really efficient when that ball does go inside our 50s so again a bit of supply help really good message with how we go inside 50 you're going to be really important too far
Oh absolutely get more than 55 inside 50s give our three talks one-on-one looks I just think they're a bit they're a bit well I'm not going to say they're useless but they're not it's good one-on-one I don't recognise it the fence but anyway who's on your wings? Well that's the way to the top of my own off that one round that we can see much the way yet but we've got some familiar faces rolling through there yeah I have a similar look around the ball but as I said with I got coming going out of the team and that tailor coming in there's going to be a little bit of a tweak there but it's um but why don't see what happens to my own off? We're not going to put Dan Curtin back on their area I can't tell you just yet really but we've been liking a fair bit of what he's been doing oh god thank god um I think everyone thinks and we saw some key stats come out from um champion data that when we bring the heat we being the crows and the differential between that and the opposition and we're in the positive we win I know that's a simple thing but that that's got to be a given
tomorrow that for four quarters we're just going to get out this mole yeah and that's exactly what if you look at the finals games last week um fourth one in particular and you know that's a lot of custom I mean there the ability to be relentless with their pressure was was the best of the lot of us and um they got the game when they're terms off the back of it so pressure is a big part in modern day 40 at the moment and as you said over the last two years our ability to apply pressure on the opposition's arguably the best in the comp so we've got to make sure that uh we're able to what we've been under the pressure tomorrow and all right and if we're able to do that then we'd like to think we get enough turnovers and and cause enough I guess pay off in their game that we're able to give a solid every chance in our fun half um so it's going to be a big battle of who keeps their ball in their fun half a long period of time knowing everybody's touched on how efficient both four lines are for each time yeah just Murray Davis bringing some good intel about Brisbane yeah he does you know you know he's everything about 95% of their group the honest um and how they operate and how their system works so
that's been really helpful for a fair period of time for us now and it's one thing knowing it though that another thing trying to stop a Mexican out and executing so um we typically have some really good tassels with Brisbane in the past we know we got headed quite the victory bottom up here early in the year round seven but we take some good learnings out of that and hopefully uh we're able to put them into practice tomorrow yeah well that round 17 you've got nine different players in the team um yeah VB so that that's massive and good ones what real good ones yeah big a big change in personnel and again some learnings out of around seven I mean Brisbane came off a pretty heavy loss the week prior to that too and we came out we got a I guess appeared in that third quarter where they just turned it on and we weren't able to go with them that's again hopefully some key learnings out of that and we're able to arrest that in the mention if it comes and make it camel we get it going L.O. One thing I noticed last week Nathan was Sydney um Harris Andrews they just didn't leave him to just stand there and intercept they they had a pown it's on him
that were deliberately moving around making sure that you know he wasn't in one spot for any length of time yeah I mean he's a he's a massive part of their team defense and and how they work in checking their back 50 and if you're able to let Harris somebody likes behind the ball then you're asking for it to be honest so there's a fair bit of system that goes into trying to teach him the countable but again it's his running to the wrong spot he knows his first mark he'll just roll off and go in and set himself so David and method and I guess running patterns that Keedin Monos are going to be really important and at times that's going to be trying to use the direct opponent other times we know the ball off the line and other times going to be having to be playing through him so our big guys you have to play big our small guys if they end up on him and have to take it honest and we're going to have to make sure up the ground that we're we're using good method going inside to see yeah I love it when you go back at oppositions and you chase the lead when you were down in that last quarter you just went and played your DNA footy and that's the best the luckiest start or that Maria's picked
up on that VB V Maria here's gone now Maria is Maria Rabenese says she's a female 83 we think it's a dude a prolific text that prolific VB will you leave the T sign at home VB I've got all sorts of signs in our you know keep back and depending on where the game sits and what I guess what the chaos and control game looks slightly more to go to different modes but typically when we're when we're planted out best the players are able to manage no-oating game in the game that there's enough coach and can stay out of it as much as we can so yeah we'll hopefully that's the case for my audience always got full control of the game they're in a good headspace and they're controlling our specs of the game that we know we need to control do you know you've won every single game this year we have never held up the T once all the T seven all the boxing love do you know that that is a true stat champion down the boxing the boxing love that which is getting the fight because if you're in it you don't need to hold that bloody red thing up and T seven is the extra and the T that that is a
dead set fact that should be your goal tomorrow VB well the fun you use Roy we actually went to one of those modes late in the game last week and helped get the win so I'd have to argue against that but that's a different day since we are you you could have won by 40 points how do you know different modes okay all eight different modes but yeah now we we love playing yeah our freedom brand of foot even their time and place oh I know I should get her up you guys keep doing what you're doing that less than full feeds like me VB all the best cannot wait for tomorrow this whole state will crow supporters have got a real I don't know I don't know what's right word I'm looking for but really really not anxiety really exciting about what a quiet confidence that that would be it VB all the best thanks for your time yeah appreciate time guys thank you say no there is a that's the there is a quiet confidence even me no no songs this week no lifting the leads no gradual statements can win can't win no just get it done there's a good stat that
we were looking at during the week and it was that in the last 11 years 10 clubs in the top four of bundled out and straight sets in the finals in the NFL so there's every chance that again this year there'll be another club be a free or Brisbane there could be that club who bundles out and straight sets so can that lay be the one that can knock them out so a free meal beat you long mm-hmm oh I don't don't do it yeah don't do it push me no no chance to do it he was going to load up you know do that if you're irresponsible to say you know what you're as bad as pinball pinball that's the lead horse to water I didn't mean to do that Christmas I can bloody win tomorrow give us your confidence levels eight double two three double I double I and how are you going to watch are you going to be watching on a good telly or if you've got a really rubbish telly because if you've got one that you're just really struggling with at the moment it's it's patched together with some electrical tape you've lost the remote the

Well the first of the knockout finals is tonight it's free manel V. Jalong at Perth Stadium kicks off 740 pm our time a man to bring us up to date with everything that's been happening in Perth over 200 games with Perth on the West Coast Eagles Adrian Barrage welcome. Get a guys great to talk to you from I've just been to Optus Stadium and the weather is magnificent I think it's 25 degrees of moment and and it bounced down or throw up or whatever it's called now 2022 degrees so 60,000 probably 50,000 docker stands I don't know about Warpy time whether that's going to get used or not
they only use that when it's close so I thought they should use it right at the start get everyone up and about but it ain't happening so I they're feeling very very nervous so the three O people very very nervous yeah I was going to ask about that we're the fine track fast that's good news but what was all the talk during the week about three O last week in Perth yeah I think they just tightened up I don't know if it was on your show then someone said they SHAT the bed which I thought was bitter ash but the but they've seen what happened to your boys last year the crow's and they're thinking Jeepers it's not like it doesn't happen you go out in straight set so they're so apprehensive when you win 19 games you go in straight sets there'll be a royal commission if Perth don't worry about that so yeah but the fans are apprehensive they they'll turn up like they're going to awake or the gallows initially but I think they just need to jump straight into it and just launch into the cats because they better my view last time in round 15 in
round 19 and round 15 by nine points they they trail though yeah I wouldn't want to be trailing this time because you know mentally correct could get on top of them you know what I mean you don't want to come over the top later yeah bro you so yeah yeah they're not in that sort of form so Ben Bailey Smith didn't play last time and Tom Stewart didn't play so couple of handy ins wrong yeah there's a stat which probably doesn't go well for free but last 10 years nine times the top four side has gone out in straight sets yeah that's not good and I think if you get flogged in that initial final which they sort of did by the Hawks no one's gone through it you know if even if you're the top team so yeah there's a lot going against I think that the broad inquiry Wagner which must be to do a job on Bailey Smith so that's probably okay boss I mean he didn't really take it up to Sicily like he did in the past so he'll probably have to go to Tom Stewart now and try to just neutralize him just drive him absolutely mad just be right on
him like almost as a defender yeah and then the pressure's been put right on the all Australian center half forward Josh Tracy he's got to be cyclone Tracy don't need to go on far out pick him up mark one kick late in the game and you know that wouldn't happen to text so that wouldn't happen to Wayne Carey so you know you can't want to go out again because you had a flat one in the last final last year too so you know just he's got to lift the big corner and even Andy Brace was said he wouldn't want to be standing in front of him tonight so yeah we'll see what happens there and then Murthy Reed just tried to be too clever he don't have to be pendles tonight mate just these into it Blue Shaxon won the game last time because he the unicorn he went full unicorn last game round 15 so he left the go full unicorn again but Blixar's looks like he might run within a wave from this away from the stoppage so that you know they got Mitch Edwards he killed last time but then I reckon Blixar's ticksy muppin he's
actually got a bigger tank than him so he's going to be fascinating that's what's your fascinating game yeah it's hard to pick a winner because Jolong are just so hard and infinals I've got more confident that they'll bring their best but I just can't help but think if free amount of bring their best it's simply better and when finals come that's what it comes down if they get enough ball forward and miss miss last week one goal Tracy got one goal and boss got a never seen a player that looks like Tarzan in place like Jane so I made a fact it's back here I just wanted to know that I did not agree with it I'm trying to throw him up free man was born to know that I'm a self-free man oh boy I just want him to win Mal Brown will be ringing up in the middle of the room yeah don't let Mal lose you are right though but bossy he's an enigma because really he hasn't played final so no hopefully he doesn't tighten up but it feels like
they've learned their lesson hate and young's another one he did you know he it looked like he was running through my lashes so maybe he comes up half back so I mean are your blokes learned from their gun out in straight fit and I will make nificet last weekend make nificet with Chad that check stuff and that really an interview with Tom Morris half to the gun that was sensational we're hoping that the docus boys can get it done and I feel like they're well I think we got a back him in that we're so wrong probably needs to lift as well racial was fantastic they've got they've got plenty of talent I just you know you don't want to get behind early and you want to want Jackson to go down or something like that so but if you're right you're right it's it's an even money game rowing he's a lot of gamer I can't help but think Cox somehow remember that pre-implayed for calling with those years ago and he's a bit of an agitator and he's a bit of a he might have got inspired by the 49ers thumping the the Rams over there in the NFL and getting his big cheesy square Jordan grin out there and who is the barometer of free man
yeah well it's a good point because they haven't got you know like the South Australians have had Andrew Jarman and you know it looks at real personality texts and the rest of it and we've had the rest got to see it with about way too much personality as you know so now they haven't really got that free man on this sort of even and and that's why Mason Cox was a good addition because he brought that swagger and as long as and it's a fine day so you think now he should be out of deliver and get in their faces and and really stir him up because the the the sorry the cat's got off the plane and that they don't travel in uniform so they look like they come off a bay watch set or something like he was going to the birdie um have a shoot in the Hollywood duty or something so I've very I think I was almost like a message to the docker you know no pressure here we got 12 premiership players still danger did you see him last week surely tell me boy surely he can't fire again like that like last week can he two weeks in a
row he isn't incredible for but it's a good point Barra because he you think about his pre-limb last year he he probably played one of his best finals games ever the following week he looked as a tac and and I reckon at that age you might be in luck it might be his off week he's 36 so surely something happens there but you know what happened in the last time they were here Chris Scott was actually very strange it was like he wasn't concerned about how the game was going he even though they lost he wasn't to turn he looked he reminded me of remember when um Tomo was coach in the bombers and he ate the sandwich in the box remember that they have a lack of luck yeah yeah like this got look like he couldn't give it kind of mental I think you know tonight but uh I will but he must have been planning something he must have been thinking it doesn't matter if we get him here or not we'll get we'll nip him later on and I'm just worried about because Justin likes to keep the faith and Justin along here and once you stay with their style of play and once they'll
impose it on them and we'll come late we just need one more goal and then what the you know the damn or break and all this sort of stuff and you know he's not the guy that you know does the Kevin Shetty puts the forwards in the back line the back line in the forward line and all that sort of stuff he won't do that so if he's not going to do that I think that's his weak spot that he he just backs him in and if you can just hold on long enough so yeah I'm getting a bit out friends to myself but the docker fans I'm an eagle's man but the docker's people just side himself because you get because they thought this had all gone they thought these days were gone where we just can't get up or where yeah they even had a term for it's called dockery being dockery we thought that was gone he can read dickery dockery I like it so it's not back no yeah the cats themselves as Rowie pointed out very very finals experienced but this season they've been the number one for inside 50 differential and number one for time in forward half they like to get it down there they like to lock it in and they also like to intercept it when they're down there so the back six and the mids have to be right on their their metal when
it comes to try to swap that play well that's why you know maybe they can't afford to have Alex Pierce just doing the third man in thing maybe you need to shut down one of the big forwards and I said yeah say that when you say that that really worries me because that's their Achilles heel and then you've got Jordan Clark's been amazing yeah but you know the rest of look Ryan for you know I don't think he could do the job and then he had to go on to watch and at one stage last like she did not work at all Nathan Chapman look really you know Fijidae so well they respond I mean how does it work after you've played one bad game the next time you you play better than you sort of you're kind of traumatized maybe so but you're right you've known it there that that forward press and where they and that's what they do they own the corridor they've worked out both on to work that you own the corridor you push them wide they can't get it done so they'll be trying to do that again and you know even Hayden Young may not
be able to hit the kicks that you have to do to get through the middle so it's just it's going to be absolutely classic absolutely classic well oric in the winner of this will beat Sydney and a dead rubber next next week and they'll be in your grand form so that's how big a prize at his barra I know Sydney can't do that again there's no way there's no chance and Errol Cox he's just amazing I mean he got to hand it to Dean Cox you've seen everything you know I've seen it West Coast at the absolute Hayday but yeah you're right I don't think they can they can bounce again so it's right there for them and you're on the other side from the Brisbane line which is where you want to be isn't it well down barra thanks for your time mate any time for you Blake's buddy we're going to be good on you all the best Adrian Barrett Jowguest of course channel seven and over there on mix 94.5 in Perth and just a good fellow and I'll tell you what it will be a cracking game tonight I'm really
looking forward to it cannot wait yeah we'll see you what the result brings all right 12 minutes to six we'll get Terry McAuliffe up next but he's your traffic the five AA Sports Show Rowie and Timmy G 35 years of down to earth family service backed by modern premises means you can rely on Pro Peyton panel Rowie and Timmy G the five AA Sports Show or what's been a big show eight minutes to six it only gets better Timmy and Terry's tips yes er racing.com Terry McAuliffe Tim Geneva and the Phantom John Kelton comes in and Terry G we're I think he picked three winners last week very good for the second successive week Jimmy I'm really swept it three out of three on fire at the moment Adam quickly jumped in and told me that he got you sexy thing last week I thank you for that Adam because I did back it but I reckon it's one of the specials this week is that test yeah for Johnny so he's three best we've had a start with
them he's been six out of six for the listeners the last two weeks he's race four number 13 harmonic dancer that's his best bit on the program if he can get it to win a race well that just shows you how good a year um race six number seven you sexy thing he's with it and I'm hoping he's riding the big race the wildy because he's tipping the horse a lot of the small share in race seven number three watch me win say all right there that's right in the eagle this week race four number 13 race six number seven race seven number three nicely done there er yes I would imagine you want to try and stay out of that as a a a neutral race seven of course the big one um yeah he actually won the race last year Tim that was the last race he won but he's had ten runs since six of them have been in Victoria in pretty hard company and he's only had four runs since in South Australia he's been placed in three similar races to the wildy and his only um place run was in the goodwood say his form here back home is always extremely good so yeah we're expecting him to be pretty hard to
say yeah I'm gonna back my favorite in that the soon now he just just gives you everything just just a dollar gold out of gold yeah last out winner of the behemoth he's 110 from 27 and over half a million dollars he's an absolute river and the thing is I think the moment you've just about get your money back for a place so it's worth an each way yeah yeah race seven number two soon now I like race three number one like a tiger what yeah it was a two-two time I think that's the sort of feeling expect for rowy two the little bit yeah two but yeah that's for me it bit one last week and I was fortunate enough to back that one but I reckon it can double up yeah now it's been going really well it's trained over the portal by Matthew Smurdom but it's last few runs have been here in South Australia and
it just every time it comes you it's just about to live as it's one twice here recently yeah so guys what do you got for us Terry um so look I agree with John I think you sexy thing will be hard to beat race six number seven as I said I'm hoping for race seven number three watch me win it and look boys I've been tipping this horse and pretty much every start this campaign but I do think it's going to get a better track tomorrow with big odds we've got to give it another chance um race eight number two chance to brother oh just a brother all right like that race eight number two team act we got that uh lined up uh we did have a um a caller earlier asking for a balaclava tip is that a bit too early for yeah next Wednesday balaclava cuff day the massive day they're going to have ten racers at least on the program wow feels actually won't drop until until Monday and the balaclava race you club actually just out of interest boys just blowing John and I our own trumpet that actually you know John and I the number one ticket holder for the two thousand twenty ticket white easy
season yeah that is very nicely done uh or well I'll tell I think it was Jim and I'll make Kalunga Jim so Jim just hanging there we'll get your tip from Terry on Tuesday can I can I jump on Tuesday briefly then boys and we'll do it absolutely we do that I think we should do that that'll be awesome now Terry before I do go we do believe you've been moonlighting calling a little bit of Australian rules football is that correct and I've done a little bit over the the past year I know I tend to have years Andrew wonder would actually got me involved with the a Phil indigenous broadcasting networks say yeah did the game last uh Saturday night with a cruise got home and it well that was the game of the finals really last week wasn't he asked the box well I actually thought uh we'd ever listen to your first go on uh oh now a grand level towards the goal fuck it he has and team that falls to first go here on the match one on team that great cool that you're the corners are gold you've self promoted
you know you might it when you talk yourself in the third party well boy that that was the discussion that it was 爱 for them boys my face is already absolute conference go to hillie beach Graham Good day gentlemen, just on your classic calls, the Janks wouldn't understand. And I sure I don't understand either, but you have a certain individual that comes on with the guy called Stutton 7 mornings. Sometimes his tug is on Sunday. I think it started to get a comment called strike me pick. And if you can let me know what that means, I would love to know. And if you can let me know what it means, I would love to know as well.
That's good, right? Very good, right? Very local one. Thank you, Graham. That's one of the greatest sporting catch-cars in this state. Hello, Kevin. Good day, guys. Look, we used to have our coach, if you were getting a bit slacky, it's been on the side, I would say, come on you, Buggers, raffle your legs. Raffle your legs. Good, I spent many a summer having a trim day of the ass of a body shape. Well, that's a job. That's funny. All right. Well, talk about previous employment. If you're a coach, you have to skirt them off when you throw the fleets on them. For Rustam Wines in the Rosserville, a black cat for us to give away boy wear some good calls. We had. That's from which good. I think it was. I think Brian said tall timber like that. Yes, there was Carl, he channeled, um, centimetre perfect. That's good. That was a good one. Cause like one because the angst don't like the metric system. And Chris said Barry Crocker. Yeah, he's at a shocker. So we thought we put him to rowy.
Rowie, Rowie can be a decided. All timber, centimetre perfect because the angst are in the imperial system. The feel or Chris is at a Barry Crocker or I love rhyming sling. You do actually you do. So Barry Crocker, it is. Chris is not the rustic. From on pepper anger hills. You've got yourself a black cat. Sure as all thanks to Rustam Wines in the Rosserville home of the black cats, Rustam Wines dot com dot a you time for the six o'clock news. Make sure you're listening. Of course tonight, huge game five double eight football. We have three oh and the cats and then tomorrow night. We have the full team assembled for the most of the five.
