It's March 27th. Welcome in. This is Toronto News Today, where local news meets AI. Our owner, a major Canadian home improvement chain with over 425 stores, is expanding its partnership with AutoShack by opening shop. And shop locations in 12 stores around the greater Toronto area in Ottawa by this summer. The move follows a successful pilot program, bringing AutoShack's popular automotive parts into Rona locations for the first time on a wider scale. Previously, mostly online or at one flagship store near Ottawa, these spots will be staffed by AutoShack experts to help customers find the right. Vehicle parts. Company leaders see this as a win for both DIY homeowners and professional customers, aligning their shopper bases perfectly. It also pushes AutoShack toward a stronger mix of online and in-store sales, with curated products on shelves, and more available for quick pickup. Rollout kicks off at the Rona plus golden mile store, followed by spots in Maple, Whitby,

Hamilton, London, Windsor, and Ottawa over the coming months. This collaboration boosts convenience for car park buyers right alongside home projects, setting up easier access to cross Ontario.
