This week we are discussing Warcraft II: Tides of Darkness, a PC game released in 1995 that builds on the foundation of its predecessor by expanding the war between the noble Humans and the brutal Orcs into a larger, more strategic real-time battlefield. Featuring naval combat, resource management, and faction-specific units, the game challenges players to harvest gold and lumber, construct bases, and command armies across land and sea. With its memorable campaign storytelling, iconic unit voice lines, and refined RTS mechanics, Warcraft II helped define the genre and set the stage for the future of the franchise.
