Receiving the Greatest Gifts

 "The greatest gifts are from above," but sometimes we impose beliefs upon those great gifts that make them hard to embrace.   When I am in the position of receiving something that I have wanted for a long time, it is no longer just for me but for other people too.   This is almost always the case with living creatures, or receiving large gifts from elders, specifically, my Grandmother.  It was at this moment that I realized this is just a huge part of our human connection that we get to receive gifts from our loved ones with no strings attached. It is NOW my turn to lead my children into living a life with ponies, dogs, and climbing mountains, and honoring my Grandmother's gift every step of the way, as my own.  Join me as I tell the story of how we received this greatest gift this holiday season.
