Randwick residents face paid parking at beaches

Well, Rammwick Council maintains no resident in its area will be worse off under a controversial plan for paid parking at the beach. The row of a placing parking meters near Rammwick Beachers comes after the council proposed the plan to help pay for their $23 million upkeep. Beachers affected include Marubra, along with Clivelli, Kourji, Little Bay. There's been strong opposition to the proposal from small businesses near the beachers, worried about its impact on their customer numbers. 1:00but is prepared to increase that number. Residents living near beaches are worried in cases where they may have more than two cars. A lot of concerns in the community about this proposal. Basically, people do not want to pay to go to the beach. We have a cost of living crisis at the moment, as such, there's a lot of concerns. Rammwick Council says surveys so far have found a majority support in the LGA for the paid parking plan. Rammwick Council says a final vote will be taken once the results of the consultation are analysed.
