Case laid David Bowles on other J-Dub. I think we have two J-Dubs there. And David and Troy. All right. Big thanks to everybody for for showing out. You guys make the world go round. All right. No chaser today. On I don't know or corn leedo. I'm not seeing you right now. I know we got a big weekend coming up. Are they taking Friday off to? I see Jake in there. But well, you know, some people just celebrate Labor Day harder than others. Yeah, I'm not good at them. You know, people in radio that have four day weekends by the way, must be nice. Must be real nice. I was hoping it'd be us. Oh no, I definitely would take it if it was offered, but it was not offered. No, I mean, we can turn the show into our offering of it, but that's just not how we roll. I mean, after that, just not how we roll. Analogy that with that honestly, I just sidebarred and just got argumentative about. I think maybe I have. I thought it worked. You did you disagree? I'm glad you thought that. You disagree? I'm glad you thought that.

What part of it? If you weren't such a cooking guy, they might have landed on one of the better. You made the most generic of my to land better. You get some meat in there. You get some meat to get some sauce. You get some sauces. You get some spices. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. And to Sean Watson's himself. You just, you just, it's a whole bunch of sauce. You put some grain in there. And you're like, oh, we get a sad water. Well, I'd water. We'll fix the dish. Oh, thank you, literal. Louis over there. Like, great. You're going to fix my dish. Okay, great. I think I already fixed your dish. Um, what I should have done. Never mind. It doesn't matter. No, what should you have done? Well, I mean, if I, if you give me a redo on the, on the take to make it, to make it Nick proofed. Uh-huh. Is that right? Can I do that? Let's see. All right. Wait, it brings a dish over. Okay. Cause you're at a restaurant now. Okay. So waiter brings the dish over. Yeah. And uh, it looks like a pretty good dish. Yeah. There you go. You're a pasta. You had all sorts of stuff. Yeah. You're already nice and tagging meal, right? And then, and then, uh, they, they come on over and they're like, uh, eight, so, this is on the fly, by the way. Yeah. Yeah. On the fly. Yeah. There's your nail in it.

Would you like any Parmesan cheese? Uh, it's, you know, no, we're at known as table. Like any Parmesan cheese. Can we get, you have any, serve you up any? I've known it for that pasta that you're ordering. Can I get any Parmesan cheese? Would you like that? And you're like, sure, I'd love that. And then just as they go to spill the, you know, do the Parmesan cheese. Oh, no, the whole, all right on the pasta. All right. In the sauce. Yeah. That's not every, no, no. You really wrecked it. This is so much cheese. You can't even comprehend. This is the whole, everything of cheese. And it's like, oh, no, I mean, I can't, what am I doing now? Did somebody put angel dust in the cheese counter? Is that the only way we're doing this? My dish is gone now. And, uh, and top of that, a whole one. This is all. And you had Italian. A whole bunch of salt just got poured right in there as well. And you had a whole bunch of Italian foods. Too much salt. Too much cheese. Wait, two salt. My brought it back. Well, because the salt one works for a reason. Too much salt is gross in anything, guys. It's just, it's gross. And just showing Watson's the salt in the quake. It could be a good meal. So there's also salt and heal cheese things. Too much salt over and all of it. And that's, that's the problem, guys. And no, there's no, there's no amount of water that can fix this stew dish that is apparently being fixed by our literal wooly over here. Trying to make, uh, trying to make my analogy suck.

Well, Jack, do you think he pulled it off? No, because if the cheese fell on it, it's just, it's only good. Yeah. Oh, no. Too much, too much cheese. There is such a thing as too much cheese. We changed it up on the fly. I can't stay with the salt. It's like the guy from Jamira. I should have stayed with the salt breaking up with way known a writer. Because you guys know, you guys know it's too chestily endowed. And she'd like going to bedroom too much. Yeah, that's what you just said right there with too much cheese. You guys know the salt one worked. And the idea of the idea that now I've given you one that was you can just just pivot off of. When it was, it was, it was, it was bulletproof as what it was. I think not. I think not. This is like one of those preachers that like, I can't be killed by this snake because I am driven by the power of the Lord. That's snagged by it. And they immediately dropped dead. That was your analogy. Most people would have been like, you're right. Too much salt in a dish does ruin it. That's a good, that's a good one. Let's, let's keep that going. Instead, I get a whole breakdown of all the different ways that a, uh, the meals just not accurate according to your interpretation of how you cook. One of these days, you'll, you'll, you'll,

you'll be a better cook. Little muckaroo. There may be. I doubt it. I'm an alright cook. I'm not, I'm not ever going to be a great cook. You got to want it. Yeah, you do. You got to want it. It's an effort game. I feel like the one in the kitchen's an effort game that I just don't have. Same with the analogy game. Let's get to quickets from the latest news and rumors around the sports world. You ruined it. To the sound bites you need to hear. It's quickets. Let me say, usually you're graded analogies. You should. It was a good one. You just ruined it. Alright, Bengals said code Zack Taylor talked about something he secretly desires for his children on the. Fits with podcast. It is going to create a mental toughness for them. That's critical because they're going to face adversity. I love seeing my kids lose games because Brooks is an eighth grade. He's been out some tremendous basketball teams. And sometimes they lose and change their game. And I'm, I'm sitting back to the thing and perfect. He threw two picks and they lost perfect. You know, because it doesn't need to be all easy going in high school and you got to have some adversity. And so I'm maybe in the minority sitting at stands,

but there's sometimes we're secretly. I'm like, let's take those losses. You know, and so you can learn from before you get in high school. Have you secretly rooted for your kids to fail? Well, my kid is three and a half, Nick. Yeah. So I haven't come across a time yet. Where I do. Do you ever just like when she's like trying to like sound out a word? You just go, that's not what this block is. And I'm throwing it against the wall. Yeah, I don't, I don't think she needs that adversity in life. I feel like I feel like she needs more people that proper up and make sure that she does all right. Yeah. But I also feel like even in the sports world of this, I understand wanting to build character. I understand wanting to build adversity can be a good thing. I get all that. But if you want your kid to play pro, which I assume is the is where they want them to go, I wouldn't want my kid throwing interceptions in seventh grade football. I just, you want to dominate. You want to make it where you, there's just no, there's no amount of mistakes that happen because most people that end up going and playing pro just straight up dominate seventh eighth grade football. And it's nothing close. I also think there's this, this idea that adversity, that the more adversity, the better, I would disagree.

Adversity is one of the best ways you can learn lessons on this planet. It's also a great way to crush your spirit. So, you know, like the idea of like, ah, I was going to trust you the most. Right? I'm going to test you the most. And I test me a little less. I've got, that's why I need with a solid analogy. It doesn't, it doesn't, adversity. Test me a little less. So it would have been bulletproof. Yeah, I just had to shut those bullets at you. Test me a little less on that one. The weight is over. Football is here and so is Draft Kings. Sonos lets you listen seamlessly from room to room. Same great sound, expertly tuned, astonishingly clear. It's not magic, but it's not not magic. Oh my god! Just accept too much salt. Pretty good. Oh you know what? Pretty good. You're damn right. I don't want too much salt. Who wants too much salt and there's still. It's bad. It makes it bad instantly. Oh Rutgers. Boss is 30 point favorites. Shionos is not going to survive this. I don't know why they didn't fire Shionos today. This is awful. And not only did they lose to UMass, UMass was open 12 last year, and they won 3721. Entering the game FBS teams, favored by 29 plus points were 213 and 0 since 2024. Rutgers 16 point win loss was the fifth largest by a favorite of 25 plus points in 2000 just embarrassing. What's crazy about this is Rutgers has kind of been Rutgers under Shiono the same way it was the first time. They had a couple high water marks.

He's been right around a 500 team. So I was kind of guard by people suggesting this gets you fired. Because I've seen good or I've seen good schools get popped off by a random team. That being said UMass is a special level of dog butt. And they didn't have a single win last year. They were oh and 12. They did have a single game last year where they scored more than 26 points. They averaged 11 points a game last year and they waxed you. I can't remember who did it, but the Michael Sarah doing the Tony soprano. You have you have you have. Yes, thank you. But say Twitter user posted that saying Brian Kelly when he gets Greg Shiono's job in two months and it's you have no clue what be your number one is. Yeah. Is he's a code switcher? Does this pay back for that? It's a sausage. Yeah. That's fine. That's fine. Hey, we're having fun. All that salt meant you a little too salty. There we go. Nicely done. Von Miller signed with the Cowboys late in the offseason.

It took all preseason to secure the rights to his number 40 from full back hunter loop key, who's won the number in Dallas since 2023. The eventual price. Loop key received a percentage of Miller's not how you say his name. I'm going to press his license out of you that just that day. It's lip key. Lip key. Yeah, it was a full back. I don't care. Lip key received a percentage of Miller's chicken company. Greener pastures chicken. Yeah. Is one is potentially one season of wearing a number worth the upside of chicken for life. I thought this was pretty good swap. All things considered. You always hear about these valuations that I don't know. And maybe this turns into like no one Ryan beef in Texas, where it's just one of the things like Von Miller's chicken is just across the board in every grocery store in Texas and then a couple other states. And it's just awesome. And the valuation is massive. It's way higher upside. I love this. You get them invested into the business. You get you cut them off some piece of that bread. This is good. I like this. Good swap. What I like about it is money is temporary.

$50,000 is temporary. And that chicken stock could go a while plus. You also, thank you very much, get free chicken. So it's there's so many benefits to this. He's a full back. He's going to need something to fall back on. I don't know that they're necessarily. I don't know if they worked out in the details how much free chicken he gets each year. Just because you own the part of the chicken company doesn't mean you necessarily get free chicken. If I own part of a chicken or meat company, I'm getting some of that chicken or meat. You know, also a part owner of this chicken company, which is for the modern names. Furthermore, why it's a good bet. Patrick Maholms. Maholms are part of this. I think Maholms is betting on bad chicken. No, I don't think you're going to have to ask a question. I don't think you're going to decide with some quality chicken there. You think you just walks through and you can just pick a good chicken out. He's like, that chicken over there is dog bleep. He's funny with it. He goes, this is the chicken of champions. I got this whole chicken of champions thing that is just hysterical to me. Would you buy meat or chicken or anything like that just because of a celebrity that was on

the cover of it or an athlete that was on the cover of it? I've bought Joe Thomas's pecania because of it. Asked an answer. There we go. I mean, it does work. I mentioned Nolan Ryan's beef. When I first moved to Texas, when I lived in Houston, one of the first things you do is you're like, oh, Nolan Ryan's on every package of meat in the entire state. I guess I'm buying some Nolan Ryan beef. When you had some of Nolan Ryan's meat. A lot of people did. Yeah. A lot of people did. Yeah. That was the 70s and 80s friend. A lot of people did. Just slaying that meat left and right. All right, this came out of the out of Minnesota. Kyler Murray has reportedly been arriving at Vikings practice on time. And they're like good news. He's showing up. The bad news part of this is that, and this is where Vikings fans, I think they're just going a little overboard, but I'm not sure. They go, it's never a moment sooner. And he's usually one of the first to leave when practice ends. And so he's not beating the charges. Remember back in Arizona, they put a stipulation in the contract when they gave him that massive deal that basically said the amount of times that he had to be in the building and was required to do

actual studying because the M.O. on him was that he liked to play video games. And he was not a first in last out guy. He was the farthest thing from a first in last out guy. If you're a Vikings fan, is it concern you that Kyler Murray is basically being Kyler Murray at this point? Yeah, I think, I think you're damaged enough from even though they've had a lot of success, I can understand if they're damaged by just the amount of quarterback hopping they've done. And if they feel like this game of musical chairs is eventually going to have them on their ass, I get that. I do. Especially if this is the one thing Kyler Murray's known for other than being a micro machine, I get it. I get it. But I get it if he's on time. Like I think that's I think you are, I think you probably are going too far with this. He's not, he's not late. He's never late. He's never early. But he's never late. And he never stays late either. You know, JP hurt people hurt, you know, I just the way the Vikings fans are hurt right now. I think they are. You're a JJ McCarthy watching Sam Donald go off yonder and win in a Super Bowl. Kirk Cousins being Kirk Cousins, I get it.

You have to think like it like circa 2017. Ah, well, well, I there's 2018, 2019 when they when they signed Kirk Cousins, you have to think they thought we'll get one in his next seven or eight years. We're going to get one Super Bowl. And then they keep getting close and then they just keep getting yanked back. They finished the year five and oh last season. Finished on a real high for those nine wins. You have KOC, you have an awesome defense. They probably should want more in life. But Kyler Murray is what they get. I actually think they're going to be a little bit better than people expect. They're going to be better than they were last year. I mean, I think that's going to be an obvious right? If you've anything close to the defense, I promise that they had last season. Everyone that's seen my 2020 2016 tiers will know on a little more bullish on the Viking side. They don't go and chat GPT on that by the way. I know. That is much nicer than in years past when you've made graphics. That one looks really nice. They also, the one thing I had to get them to change is they did grades at the bottom. So like awful was like F and then the next tear up was like D minus and I was like,

I got a couple, I got a couple all encompassing that's not like you're actually good or bad. It's just you're better or worse than expected. I had to correct chat GPT. It's funny how mad people are on that. It's funny how mad people get about a chat GPT when they're like, oh, it's just AI slop and everyone gets all angry and it's like, hold on, you weren't going to commission someone and pay someone to do to make this anyway. This is the perfect example when you should use chat GPT. It looks much cleaner. It looks much nicer and it's not as if it's like, oh, you're going to spend a hundred bucks on this to spend and make somebody else make it nice. Like, no, that wasn't going to happen. You're about to get a lecture from Meredith on chat GPT. You better watch out. I'm going to not take that call. Is it time to have a conversation about Travis Pazana?
