Psalm 45: The King And His Bride

A love song shows up in the middle of the Psalms and it’s doing more than setting a romantic mood. Psalm 45 celebrates a king on his wedding day, the beauty of his bride, and the joy of covenant commitment and then turns that picture into a window into God’s heart for us. If you’ve ever struggled to connect with the Bible’s bride and groom language, you’re not alone, and we talk honestly about why it can feel awkward and why it still matters.
