1:04fandall play your game. And today we are going to talk about the Florida Gators and what they're going to do with Jorailin McCoy, right? And for those of you who don't remember Jorailin McCoy was part of the 2026 recruiting class. So he is a true freshman here in Gainesville. And he was the he was the anomaly recruiting wise, right? He was the guy where on rivals 24 seven in the SPN, they all had him at different spots drastically. Okay? On 24 seven, he was a three star, not ranked nationally, 53rd defensive lineman, 17th player in the state of Mississippi. He's from athletes for athletes to fellow. By the way, his high school logo, the two lane green wave guy, just a different color. So they got that little Johnson all over that there. Rivals, he was a four star, on ranked nationally, 35th player on the defensive line, 16th player in the state of Mississippi. Then he went to ESPN and he's a five star, 19th best player

2:09in the country, third defensive lineman in the country, and second player in the state of Mississippi. I don't even know how that happens. But again, like Jorailin McCoy, that's one of those case studies where it's fascinating, right? Because someone's going to be right, or at the very worst, someone's going to be really wrong, right? Like if he ends up being a pretty good player, then I feel like, all right, 24 seven in the SPN might be both pretty wrong and rivals may be pretty right. He ends up being great. 24 seven is going to be way wrong. He ends up being awful. ESPN is going to be way wrong. Fascinating time to see, right? We're talking high stakes, you're hurting there. But he is currently listed as with a new roster coming out, six foot seven, 271 pounds on the defensive line. I also will say there's a bit of significance between being listed as a defensive lineman. He was throughout his recruiting process. People would talk about him

3:11as a defensive lineman or an edge. He was someone that we always talked about as you're going to have to play on the defensive lineman. Like you're going to be bumped in a bit. I think now we can kind of say, all right, physically you're going to have to fill out to a role because he's again, he's one of those guys who are just a really interesting body type where you're insanely tall at six foot seven he is tied for. Actually, I think he's the only six foot seven player in the team. There are six foot eight players. That's the tallest on the team. There's your in them a whole eight six for seven and then there are six foot six players below him. But he's one of the tallest players on the team. 271 pounds is pretty good mass, right? But again, being that tall, you can carry weight differently. I think that's what it was also with people talking about trying to project him to which position he would play in the SEC was just, well, you're really tall. 271 pounds is heavy, but are you

4:17like defensive and heavy? Are you just going to be a really big edge? Like what's going to be the plan here? And that's again, that's always been the conversations surrounding Jarela McCoy. Personally, I've always wanted him to be a defensive and maybe three tech if you just added a ton of weight, ton of mass, but at that height, it's tough. It's one of the reasons that you talk about guys like LJ McCrayon, it's not that easy to go, oh, just put them like bulk them up to three tech. Because do you know how much weight you have to add to be able to be a pure interior defensive lineman at that height? Especially guy like LJ, like he's got long limbs. So did Jarela McCoy. Like those guys, it's not easy to just add clean mass to those frames. They're capable of doing it, but it's not always easy and it's definitely not quick. So it's always going to be a little bit of a battle figuring out there. Jarela McCoy, I think we're figuring out the role for him. I think

7:28The web listed at six foot seven 271 pounds. Players that are listed at similar dates and weights to him. LJ McCray is one and shorter one pound lighter. During the McCoy six foot seven 271 LJ McCray six six two seventy cam James six foot six two hundred eighty pounds. So one and short ten pounds. They were nine pounds heavier. Emanuele Badejo six foot six three hundred three pounds. That's the big jump, right? Like that's the huge jump there where Jerela McCoy is one inch taller. Emanuele Badejo's 32 pounds heavier. Those four are going to be playing the same position. Okay. Those four are going to be your F. And in 2026, you're going to see Cameron James and Emanuele Badejo both competing. At that F for the starting spot. Whoever wins it. Honestly, I don't care who wins it or who loses it. I think that you're going to see cam James play when you're expecting an obvious passing down.

8:31I think you're going to see Emanuele Badejo play, especially when you're expecting an obvious run down. But I also just think you're going to see him both play a lot. And that's not saying, oh, this team's in, you know, a second and five. Put in any specific players. You're going to be, hey, this is our rotation. Maybe if we've got the lead and it's late and we're expecting the further ball out, we'll put cam James in. But they're both going to play a lot. Probably in the splitting snaps like 60 40 if that much might be 50 50. Then you've got that third spot. And honestly, I know a lot of people are slotting LJ McCray in there. I'm not. That seems like a bad decision. I'm going to say it's probably going to be a competition. And Jarela McCoy and LJ McCray are the most likely guys to compete for that spot at F3. They're LJ McCray. Like, I love them coming out, but we've seen nothing from them.

9:31He's struggling to say healthy. We'll see what you got. But as far as saying, oh, well, you know, it's his time. Is it? Everybody keeps going, oh, it's your three. It's time to pop off. And it's like, it's your three, but you haven't been healthy. It's not year three of you being healthy and working and putting in the work consistently. It's been year three. It's year three of you rehabbing half the time. I'm not going to say that anything is a lock or anything secure there. compete. Okay. compete. Jarela McCoy is going to be playing that spot. That F spot, by the way, is the field side defensive end. In this defense, the expectation is, and we're taking this expectation because that's what Emmanuel Yvdash was said is that he's playing the F the field end. The boundary end is what we call the Jack. All right. That's Jadon Woods. The F the field is going to be playing, if I'm the offensive tackle and the quarterbacks to my left, the F is going to be playing a four high lot, which is on the inside shoulder of me.

10:34All right. Inside shoulder of the offensive tackle. You can tack inside. You can take it outside. You can go head up. You can go anywhere you want. Play F or play five, which is head up on the offensive tackle. You go inside, outside, head up, but you can go wherever you want. That's going to be a role here where you've got to be able to defend the run. You've got to be able to rush the passer. You need to be talented and versatile at both edge spots. F we're going to call F edge versatile and talented at both edge spots. There's going to be different shifts. I think that you might see a Cam James BS if they're going to drop the F into coverage at all. That might be Cam James. I don't think it'll be so much Emmanuel Yvdash who's 663 pounds and it's probably going to play some three tech during the McCoy. You're going to have time to work and develop. There's no rush to get you on the field there. You've got time, but you're probably going to play the F and I do
