The original goal was to put focus on helping up and coming podcasters to have the right information about hosting as well as surviving inside the podcasting world. The idea went 54 episodes before adopting a new idea. Dude, you're talking to the podcasters themselves. Why aren't you sharing tips from each and every person? Hmm? The purpose of podcrashing one-on-one is to help you build your own platform, you know, promote it and maybe even earn some money. This is podcrashing one-on-one. This is a very touchy subject and it may ruffle up your feathers, but we're gonna talk about it anyway. Should podcasters be aware of topic changes coming?

Yes, you should always be aware of topic changes, but you should do all you can to keep from chasing them blindedly. You need two very important tools in the art of staying focused. Awareness and agility. Awareness and agility. Tell yourself that over and over and over again. I am a podcaster. I am in touch with my awareness and man, I've been blessed with some agility. Bring it on. Both are very strong to keep you from trend hopping. When you come true to yourself, you're gonna notice very easily that any type of popularity shift comes at the drop of a hat. No matter what you're doing, watch or look away that feeling of being popular. Oh, it's gonna play hell on your creative school. Culture is always moving way too fast for each and every one of us. I don't care how great of a podcaster you are.

3:02Culture is always gonna win the race. Topics that once drew in large numbers have actually faded into the sunset. New conversations are always going to surface, but what risk are you willing to take? This is when your podcast can instantly sound not in touch. When you repeat yourself, the audience picks up on it and then decides, I don't know man, this this voice, it's missing something. I'm not feeling that real moment anymore. Now those who've chosen to check in, remember, always have the power to say, I'm off your podcast stage. Coming up next, being aware, it doesn't always mean making a change. They don't wave goodbye to the origin. The goal, the mission or the vision is to play the game like a smart podcaster. Watch patterns don't invest in those spikes. Oh, those things freak me out.
