1:03my friend. We'll get into all of that. How the heck are you doing? You sent people to my house and forced me to do it, which I thought frankly a bit out of line. I'm excited, man. Every time the season starts, it's like, all right, what kind of stuff can I get into and talking to you weekly about film stuff and whatever we see from the previous week? I'm excited to get in this, man. I think we're good here. Yeah, I think so too. For those of you who are unfamiliar with Dusty, first of all, what's wrong with you? Second of all, Dusty to me is the best at breaking down film. I think that's going to be a part of what we're doing throughout the course of this season. We won't be able to post film unfortunately, rules and such, but we will be talking a lot of film throughout the course of the year. Dusty, it is Minnesota Vikings week. We have made it to week one. We are recording this ahead of Seahawks and Patriots, so we don't know the result. We could pretend and just say we know what happened, but we do not, but we are officially in week one. It is Vikings week. I know you, Steven Sarah, kind of broke down Packers offense versus Vikings defense already. So I don't want to dive into that too much again. You can find that on the audio, Packet A channels, but just kind of a

2:06overarching feel Packers offense Vikings defense. This is always a fun matchup, Matt LaFour, Brian Flores. We've seen Jordan love for the most part, kind of be able to handle this match up a little bit as well, but your thoughts on that side of the ball going into this game. Yeah, I'm excited. I mean, week one, it feels like maybe this year a little more is in flux just due to this, like what is everything going to look like? Flores, Flores, Blitzes, we know Flores Blitzes, like he's always like top of the league in terms of Blitz rate, but there's always like slight tweaks to that. Who does he bring? How does he bring these guys? How does it look? You get some of that. But then also for the first time in a while, this Packer's offense is maybe it looks exactly the same. I don't know, but it feels like there's a bit in flux. They've gotten smaller receiver. They've, you know, offensive lines got a little smaller. How does as far as like just how they function and the league has gotten bigger in terms of like a lot of the tight end stuff. And the Packers recently got Redmond, which feels like an afterthought. So how how heavy are they going to lean in? Are they going to try to do more three receiver sets? And so you get to the spot week one. We haven't seen any of this stuff yet. So we know it's going to be Blitz heavy. Packers have

3:08done pretty well against the Blitz. Love has done pretty well against the Blitz. We do have different pieces on the offensive line there. You got Monk who has not been there. Or I guess he's right now pencil is a starter, right? And this to me is more like it's eyes more than like how big or how much you can move people at this point because it is. Can you how you trust your eyes? How do you communicate all of that stuff? That is more important. This match up than any other match up you get into and not knowing what the offense is going to look like. I don't know. As I'm curious, I talked about it with Steven Sarah. I'm curious about the some of the wide receiver stuff. You know, they got rid of wicks and dobs and they've downsides with golden is now going to be on the outside. And he can block just fine. He's up for the fight. I think he does well on that. He showed some really good stuff last year. But he's smaller. They've always like I was looking through the rosters last night. It's always been his Devonte and MBS. They drafted an equanimisting Brown and Jamal Moore who were bigger dudes at Al Mazar who is bigger dudes. For the first time that I can remember in a LaFour offense, the main two is a smaller guy. Like a Jeep Reed has always been the

4:09slot guy. So how does that look in terms of just operation? How do they look? How do they attack that? And then what is for us trying to do? I have in the back of my mind indeed. Remember that year was a two or three years ago where they came out of the Vikings beat the Packers and LaFour says something effective. They ran more man than we thought we were going to. We were not prepared. Which at the time people were like, well, that's insane. They didn't run man at all. Like the Vikings didn't run man. They was all like zone based behind the, behind the blitz stuff. So it didn't kind of take them out of it. Do you sure you have answered? I'm not really getting that game. It doesn't matter. So I have in the back of my mind somewhere like, are the Vikings coming out this game and they're going to blitz three times? And then I looked at the roster one. Well, no, they can't survive that way. They will die. But I do have in the back of my mind like this could be a weird floor as game because it is week one. And the Packers are kind of in a weird state of flux with the offense. So most weeks I try to dig in. What have they done previous year or previous weeks looking at the numbers, all that stuff. This week is so different because Flores will mix stuff up. And I just don't know what the Packers offense how they're going to look. But I'm really

5:11this year this week one. How does everything look man? What does the operation look like? I'm really excited to watch just how all of that stuff kind of works. I'm grinning ear to ear for those of you who are not watching on camera because you literally beat me to the punch because I was literally going to say something into the effect and you bring up the exact quote, which is amazing. But Matt is unbelievable. If he knows what's coming and he has a game plan for you, it is going to look pretty freaking awesome. If he knows you're going to go man to man, he is going to have man beaters for you all day long. If he knows you're going to go zone, he is going to have zone beaters for you all day long, where he gets a little bit more thrown off from time to time is when you get the unexpected. And I think that's what makes the opening weeks so hard, especially against the Bryan Flores is you just don't ever know what to expect. And the one thing I'll counter a little bit because I thought the exact same thing you did of oh yeah, we look at this Vikings defense and what am I supposed to be scared by Dallas Turner and Andruvian Ginkgold and a couple rookies on the defensive line. No, I'm probably not. But that's

6:11where these offensive lines sort of concerns and question marks come into play as well. Yeah, if they're healthy on the offensive line and I feel good about Jacob Monk and Jordan Morgan and Sean Ryan at center and Zach Bocca Bole at right tackle Aaron Banks is healthy at left guard. Yeah, I probably feel like yeah, if all you're bringing is Turner of Anginkel, I really like Redmond a lot, but even still I'm not I'm not super concerned about our five on four matchup. I feel like the five guys up front are going to block your four and it's not going to be a big deal. But if all of a sudden Zach Bocca Bole can't make it through the game and it's Anthony Belton out there against Van Ginkgold and Jager Burton or rookie is having to sort of pick up some of this stuff and Jacob Monk, I have no feel for whatsoever. I'm a little bit more concerned slash does Brian Flores say, Hey, we're going to try to get home with four and see if we can pick on this offensive line. They're going to anticipate that we're blitzing. We're going to show a crab ton of blitz. So Chris Brooks is going to stay in and they're going to keep it tight end into chip, which is going to maybe limit Tucker craft. But guess what? We're actually not bringing anybody. We're going to still drop seven. It's just going to be our front four that's that's bringing

7:14pressure. And now they've got extra guys in blocking and shipping that they might not even need and now there's less guys in the route. We've got seven to cover it. And we still might just beat Jager Burton or Jacob Monk up front with one of our guys. That's that's where my mind went as well as I'm a little bit more concerned that they might just try to try to throw green Bay and Matt LaFlor off the fence a little bit and maybe do something a little bit different that he's expecting. And that's where Matt sometimes can get in himself into a little bit of a pickle. I mean, I look you looked at the front. I looked at the back end when I was looking at that and far as like concerned because I think Dallas Turner did some nice stuff last year. I think as the season went on, but they lost, you know, Hargrave obviously is not there anymore. Van Ginkgo, I really like a lot, but then you look at the back and it's Byron Murphy who I thought was fine last year as A. Rogers who and then behind that, like it's not really a whole lot. It's Harrison Smith who until a week and a half ago and he's probably been working out was not signed. It's Josh Patelis who I like, but it's kind of more of like a move around weird OPs rather than like an actual strong safety. So like that if if they can win with four, cool. If they can win

8:18with four, but it takes some three seconds to do it, I don't think they've got the horses on back end of that. That's good concern for me. Like if they don't get there in 2.2 seconds, love's going to be like, Oh, I can just sit back here. I don't have to brush. I was finding the open guy. Man, I think they just killed him in that instance. I think so too. He's just really quick. You brought up the thing with Matthew Golden as well. It's going to be interesting having a little bit of a smaller guy on the outside, but man, the enticing speed that this offense has with March on Lloyd Tucker craft, Matthew Golden, Jayden Reed, Christian Watson, that primary five. I mean, what has to be the fastest five unit that the Packers have had and I don't even know, maybe like it's at least in the conversation. Like there is a ton of speed that's going to be out on the field for that offense. Yeah, they had about three years. Really. How is MBS? There's MBS. So a bunch of guys are in like four, sevens like this is this a lot of fast dude. And even like like dobs and wicks weren't slouches, but they were what four fives. Yeah, that extent like that was good to yeah, they got burners all over the place. I mean, I'm so excited about it. All right, a couple of quick last offensive questions running back by committee. How do you think this is going to go? It sounds like

9:22in MATLA Flores press conference on Wednesday. It sounds like Caleb Johnson's been able to pick up the offense pretty well, which is understandable. A lot of similar stuff that they did at Iowa. But thoughts on how this running back by committee approach might work. And if you put your MATLA Flore hat on for a moment, how would you kind of rotate these running backs? I think you you mentioned part of it a little earlier. I do think just the matchup I wouldn't be shocked if we see a little more books, less as a and part of that is because I expect them to be a little more pass heavy this year or the packers be a little more pass heavy this year. And against with an offensive line that you maybe don't feel great about. I think Brooks Brooks is your best pass pro guy. So maybe we see a little bit more of him in this game, less as a carry and more as like a protector. I wouldn't be shocked. But I think I mean, I think it's got to be Lloyd. I think you just you run with Lloyd and then Johnson is kind of your as I keep wanting to say Williams because it's Caleb and it's just it's it's burning my hand. I think Lloyd has got to be your obi want just because he's been there for longer. I mean, he's business is his third year. He knows the offense. He's not really been in it, but he knows it as far as like pass pro stuff. I'm not sure how he looks like. I know Johnson's strength from what I've seen is not. He is a wheeling pass protector. He doesn't always

10:26know where he's supposed to go. And his technique isn't bad or isn't good. And that was just some of that was like late last season, some of that was preseason. I don't think he's magically going to get better like lockdown on that. So I think it's got to be Lloyd as your runner. He's going to be out to the vast majority of the time unless you get injured fingers crossed. I don't I hope certainly know that doesn't happen. And I think we see a lot more books this year and then or this game and gas we move on from this game. Maybe we see a little more Lloyd Johnson is Johnson kind of works in a little bit more. But I think it's going to be heavily Lloyd heavily broke. So then you work Johnson and occasionally as Lloyd needs a breather. Yeah, I think so too. I am curious just how much they're willing to give. Marshall Lloyd just you know, 10 snaps in his career. Yeah, this is first game back plane. He didn't play all of last year. Like what what's is there a number of snaps that they have in mind of like we don't want to get to this number because we just we don't want to put that wear in tear on him this early. We want to just sort of temper him into the season a little bit. That's the one reason I think Caleb Johnson might get a little bit more involved. But your big thing too is Chris Brooks. Like you said, and if Lloyd or Johnson prove that on any given

11:29down regardless of what the play call is that they can't pick up the blitz. Yeah, which again, could be prevalent. Then you could see a lot more Chris Brooks, which is fine. By the way, I like I know some people are concerned. Chris Brooks is a fine runner of the football. He's never going to be a game breaker, but he finds the open space. He runs with good pad level. He obviously can catch the ball to the backfield. He's a great past pro guy. I have no issue if Chris Brooks is in there a little bit more this week. I thought him and Wilson are roughly the same in terms of a runner and Wilson went for what 100 plus against the Vikings last year. I don't really think. I think Wilson's maybe got a little more wiggle and Brooks is maybe a little better vision, but I they're roughly the same to me. So yeah, that wouldn't kill me. Is there also, and I'm not I've not looked into any of this. I'm not checked any of this stuff today. Andy, is there a possibility that they call up someone and it's I don't know, Pierre Strong would good. I know they just signed banks didn't like is there a possibility they bring one of those guys up from the practice squad as a call up this week? Yeah, I think so too. We I talked about this a little bit with justice. To me, the decision is probably going to come down to Caleb Johnson versus Pierre Strong. I don't think they're going to be able to keep for running backs on the active just like looking at,

12:29you know, who would be active? Who would be an active, etc. But I do think they'll have a decision to make there and it probably just comes down to Caleb Johnson and how comfortable they feel with his knowledge of the offense. And if he can pass protected all because Strong can do a little bit of that. He can catch the ball to the backfield. If they feel like they need a little bit more of that in this game, not to mention Pierre Strong of that great kick return. You could put Strong and more back as your kick returners as well. I don't think it's impossible that Strong is active in Caleb Johnson is inactive. I think we'll know I will obviously we'll know on Saturday if we see the call ups and Strong is on it. I think that's probably just going to mean that Caleb Johnson is inactive for this first week as he gets his feet underneath him a little bit more or they just want somebody who can pick up the blitz a little bit better. But I do think it's definitely an option. And whoever that is, I do expect them to be involved in the game plan, whether it is Johnson or whether it is Strong. Yeah, that makes sense. I really quick. I couldn't not ask you about Mark Redman. I know you did a little bit of a film study on him. I did one as well. I was pretty geeked up about the addition for a future seven

13:31through on pick. What did you see on film and what do you think Mark Redman can bring to this team? He rules. He's like a like just a master. Like I was looking out if you saw heavy interviews like favorite movies on this office. Favorite movie was Cars. And he just he's got like the he's got like the hair cut. He just looks kind of like a big man who wants to smash things, which is like for that kind of tight end. It's all I want. Like he can't he's so limited in what he can give you, but what he gives you is something that's valuable. Like he's just you put him in line. He's going to mash people off the line. He's going to move a guy over three gaps. And past pro is going to kick a guy out. Like if you ask him to run in a straight line five yards, he's not going to do it. Like that's not his game. But he can like off of that too. If you get in some of the wide zone stuff, he'll move a guy down the line and then the boot stuff. They worked him as like a kind of I think it's called slam around. It's like the sift receiver where he kind of like you're mirroring your essentially the fourth option that you can work back to because he blocks so well because he does that stuff. You can work him that close to the line stuff. Like he's not going to be you're not setting him an emotion. He's his blocking in space is not very good. But if you

14:34just want to mash a guy down the line brother, he'll do that. He'll do it with a smile on his face. And that's all he's going to give you. But for what they were missing in the office, that's kind of all you need. Like it's a very limited skill set. Maybe you can grow on that. But he's a big man that likes to move people and you can work with that. So I they didn't have that and they hadn't had that for a while. And I'm pretty excited that that frees up. They get that while I'm weighing like the two tight ends stuff that frees up tucker craft to do so much stuff out of that kind of as a receiver instead of him working as a primary blocker that I watched. I think I watched five. I watched all of his preseason. But after the first three snaps, I was like, okay, I see. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. There's there's not. You don't need a PhD in film study to immediately get what Mark Redman is all about. Yeah. Yeah. See see guy hit guy block and you know, just eliminate him from the play. And again, it's not going to be the most dynamic sexy skill set. It's not a well-rounded tight end that can do everything. But the things like you said that he does

15:34he does very, very well. We got kind of excited about the six offensive line looks last year. And I still think that that might be a part of it. I think we could see Anthony Belton being used in that role from time to time. But I didn't think Kenard was actually very good at it last year. I was kind of one that was down on his overall usage and didn't think you filled in well. And well, now he's no longer on the team. Yeah. Well, I actually think Redman can do as good if not a better of a job is actually blocking of what Kenard did on those plays. And you can actually throw it to him a little bit. And you know, well, Kenard, you know, fumbled the one time. He got the ball. I think Redman is actually going to be able to do a little bit with it. And you just match it up differently if you're a defense. If you see an extra offensive lineman out there, you're going to probably put a different personnel group out there when you see a tight end, you know, you still have to sort of account for him a little bit more. So now I think for all the the tight end happy moves that there were this offseason, you saw some blocking tight ends get huge money. You saw draft picks go, I think wildly ahead of where they were expected to to get this guy who can do exactly what you need him to do for a late seventh round pick in 2028. I just thought it was a

16:38really good bit of business from Brian Gutecans. Yeah, you had like blocking only tight ends going in the third and they got him for a future seventh. It's like, all right, this is this guy's ready to go now. It's perfect. Absolutely. All right, let's go to the defensive side of the ball. The first thing I want to ask you, there's the story, of course, Jonathan Ganon versus Kyler Murray, you know, Ganon should know Kyler Murray very well from his time in Arizona might be able to put together a better game plan on how to stop him. First of all, how how concerned should we be in general about Kyler Murray a quarterback that in Arizona was basically jettisoned and they're paying to get rid of them in a, you know, O'Connell offense. O'Connell has been given this sort of quarterback whisper title, but you know, it didn't go very well with Jay-Jama Carthy or Carson Wentz or Max Prasmer. Or yeah, we can go on on. But how concerned should we be about Kyler in this offense? First of all, and then second, what can Jonathan Ganon do to help mitigate any concerns that there are about Kyler Murray in a Kevin O'Connell offense? I mean, even, even Darnell, right? I like a pretty good start of the season. And then he fell off and Darnell credits that more with like the nine-year stuff,

17:40like a Seahawks kind of kind of his his research. And so not the, not to get on Kevin O'Connell, but that is a thought that's been kicking around my mind. Sure. I'd look at the numbers for this a little while ago. And now I don't remember what they were Kyler and it's different defense coordinators. So, you know, take with the greatest salt or whatever. Kyler hasn't done much against the Packers in terms of just overall raw numbers. I don't think he's had like he had, I don't know. I don't think he's thrown a touchdown. I'm happy wrong in that. A couple picks. I think these only played him twice. But what the Packers have done so well. Again, different defensive coordinators we'll see. But the plan has basically been compress the pocket, make him uncomfortable, make it to where you can't see. And then he's going to bail. And then you've got someone coming over the top that can help stop him. I think that's probably what the best plan is here as well. I mean, the past rush. I don't know how it's going to look. He doesn't throw well over the middle. And if you compress that pocket, which they got, I mean, I don't know how you feel Andy, the defensive line went from interior defensive line. I went from this is one of my biggest concerns to now I feel really good about this group in this span of about a month. Not they're

18:44going to be world records right now that. And we haven't even seen hardgrave yet. In terms of like big dudes on the line that I think can move the pocket a little bit and you got a couple pocket crushers on the outside. I think that's the plan. I think overall, I mean, Murray is the best quarterback that I've had in Minnesota for a while. I think he gets, you know, maybe tagged as far as not being a great quarterback. And I think he's he is a pretty good one with just he's just inconsistent. Like it's he's got moments and weeks of brilliance. And then he's got weeks where he he looks awful. I'm curious how he looks in this offense with some of the stuff they're going to ask him to do. Again, he doesn't throw the middle very same thing with also Wilson. You just can't see to throw over the middle very much. Maybe he can't, can coach that into home. Maybe as far as the blocking up and lanes, but we'll see. I don't know, that's not something tradition. He's done that well. But I think Ganon's knowledge of him should help. But I also don't think the plan should be that different from when they played him with us air when he was with Arizona. Just give big compress the pocket. Make him uncomfortable. If you cover up the stuff initially, you kind of zone that stuff and you kind of cloud. So Jefferson can't go over top. You make that first read hard to get to. Make the

19:47quick stuff hard to get to. He can't get to the secondary stuff over the middle because the pocket's collapsing at that point and he starts to panic. I think they've had a good plan against them in the past. I think that's how you go this time. And I think Ganon will throw some other stuff at him. You got to you got to missle like Evan Williams. You can send us like a late rusher if you want to do that. But I think it's going to be again, I'm kind of excited to see what Oconnell does with Murray because it is about a quarterback that's had in a couple years. I don't know how well the styles mesh in terms of what Oconnell kind of wants to do and what Murray is really good at. So I'm curious to watch that. It does feel like an odd couple's sort of thing where you're not exactly sure what to expect. You're not you wouldn't generally drop Kyler Murray is like the perfect Kevin O'Connell quarterback. But he has a lot of skills, his ability to get outside of the pocket, his ability to run, his ability to throw down field. Those are things that fit in any given offense. And I'm sure Kevin O'Connell is going to find a way to accentuate his strengths and mitigate his weaknesses. One interesting thing and I don't know how much is going to matter. But we know that columnaries a little bit on the smaller side. They can go with six five LVN, six five

20:51Denonis Sutton, six five Warren Brinson and six five Jonathan Ford. And if they really wanted to, I think he's going to be an active. But if they wanted to six six Anthony Campbell, they've got some size up front. They they couldn't put together a four man line. If at any given moment of guys six five and bigger, just get those hands up and look big. And even if you're not getting to the quarterback, that's going to make things not super fun for Kyler Marie too. So they definitely have the height and the length and the, you know, just the the arm size to really make things not fun for Kyler Marie up front. It gambled about a bad about a ball king as well, right? Let's let's go in. I am interested to see because I still think just looking at the overall depth chart and trying to get the 48. I think Anthony Campbell probably needs to be an active. But having a guy at six six that can potentially block some field goals or extra points and, you know, get up and do that sort of thing with his wingspan. And in this game where you do have a smaller quarterback and he's got some burst to him. It's not the worst idea to try to find a way to get Anthony Campbell out on the field

21:54this week. Even if he has a little bit raw, even if he's a little bit inexperienced, I wouldn't hate it. I think there's definitely some uses for him out there. Yeah, I love what I saw of him. He's like he said, he's got burst. He's strong. He's got long arms. Like if again, if you're looking even without long arms stuff, even without get arms up. If you're looking for pocket crushers in this game, Campbell could give you something. I feel like I really like to I saw him. Yeah, it's going to be interesting to see what those inactive look like. And if Campbell's active or if he's not, well, Warren Brinson's injury status is for this week, a couple of those things could definitely affect that. But either way, they've got some size up front that could definitely affect Kyler. Of course, anytime you're going against the Vikings, you're one A plan. If you're a defensive coordinator that's keeping you up at night is trying to figure out a way to limit Justin Jefferson as much as possible. Obviously, Jefferson did not have the season he wanted last year because the Vikings did not have quarterbacks in 2025, which was definitely a problem for their offense. But I'm assuming that Justin Jefferson's going to be a major focal point for Kyler and just O'Connell getting him back on track. You've got Brandon C. Say, I'm assuming Keeshan Nixon's still going to be the other starter.

I mean, from that, like if you start from that that kind of quarters the too high structure and you can move again and likes to move around from there, but if that's your base structure, you can cloud aside vertically. I mean, I like Addison, but I'm not like, I'm not going to build a game plan around like, can I take away Jordan Addison? You kind of, you take what you can get with that guy. So you can double, you can cloud that side as well. And then the other thing would be those big cross or you get those big over routes like, you know, 12 to 17 yards down the field or whatever you can throw those to the middle. That's what you're concerned about. So you can cloud aside on the vertical stuff. And on the other side, if you can keep a safety home, drop a guy back at Edger and Cooper or something run underneath to make that window tight. If he runs those crossers, those are, if I'm looking to take away stuff from Jefferson, those are too many things. It would be trying to slant. It's hard. I mean, unless you're specifically scheming on like a third and short stuff, you know, drop on a guy off the line to drop onto that slant or it's a good individual pipe on the corner. It's tough to take that stuff away, but the stuff that can kill you, those big go routes, which collar can be good at, in the big crossing routes. And I think so you cloud and then you kind of will drop a guy under on some of the crossing stuff. That's, I think that's the approach I would take. If you beat you, beat you, you also, I mean, you also just need some good individual place as well. You hope, you know,

28:15that CC, if they get off my Nixon, that someone can battle ball down, that, you know, the ball gets bad at the line, whatever or something like that. But those are the two main areas I think I'm concerned about with him. Or just getting to the quarterback would be nice as well. I just want to be a lot tougher without Mike on just with Kyler's ability to escape a pocket. But they're going to have to find a way to to frustrate Kyler again, whether it's with just the size of front or whether it's getting after him, you know, penetrating into the backfield. Or like you said, you know, Kishan for all of his flaws did bat a bunch of balls away last year. He's very, very good at past deflection. So maybe that's something he can do in this game, although it's a lot tougher to stick with Justin Jefferson. But I've been feeling they're going to have a plan. I've been feeling they're going to roll to his side whenever possible. And especially in big Keith or downs, just making sure that, you know, easier said than done. But they're taking him out of the game as much as they possibly can. Speaking of that past rush, we know no mic up the first at least four weeks of the season. We'll see after that. What can Green Bay do to generate past rush? Are they just going to have to be very blitz heavy? Do you think this Vikings offense line is probably the best in the division? You can

Yeah, they've got a pretty good offensive line. Like I said, I hadn't really thought about in terms of rest of the division, but overall the division does not have strong offensive lines. So you were probably right. I was just looking at Christian Darryl. So I'll like, yeah, you might be the best like down back of the well, depending on if you're about Jordan Morgan, best best. 30:20going to get there in 2.3 seconds. We can get there 2.7, but we can do something like that. Again, I don't know that the goal this week is going to be winning around the edge. You're not trying to, you don't want to leave open rush lanes. So the plan is going to be different. It is kind of more crushing at this point. So I do think with those guys, some of the bigger guys you have, I am curious if Dennis Sutton, if they what they do with him. I don't know because I watch them in the precinct. I don't remember if he rush from the inside or not. It does feel like his profile is something he probably could do, just a bigger dude, strong hand stuff like that. He did a ton in camp. I think you're right. I can't remember him doing it in that precinct game, but he did a ton of it in like OTA's mini camp training camp. Maybe something they didn't want to show then, because I went through all those that third precinct game and I was like, I think he was all, he's basically all stand up on the outside. I don't think he did anything else. So I think the plan would be again, it's not this is going to be different from other weeks. I don't think your plan is we to win off the edge, we want to win already quick. We want to compress the pocket. And so I think that is bigger dudes make them uncomfortable. If you win a little slow, you win a little slow, you're going to get some blitz as we've seen. It may have been a Viking game, maybe Alliance

31:23game as well. The odd Xavier McKinney blitz. Yeah, I don't think he's ever had a blitz where he's not gotten home on wouldn't be shocked. We see some weird stuff over the first four, five weeks until Mike he gets back. And we're going to see some of it here. But I do think for the most part, it's got to they're going to come out. You're going to mix stuff up on the back. And I think the front's going to be can we get big big big guys being strong and shoving guys into Kyler like that. I think that's that's going to be the plan and just and hopefully the confusion and coverage on the back end the fact that you can't really see and you're making him uncomfortable. I think you're looking at that more than can we get to him and sack him. I don't know that sacks necessarily matter as much as bothering the quarterback in the specific game. Corner blitz is where something we saw a ton of in training camp. Let's go. So I would expect that we see at least a decent help I mean, for whatever you're not going to call 30 corner blitzes. But as far as you know, I wouldn't surprise me if we saw a handful of corner blitzes in this game just to try to disrupt Kyler Murray and maybe get him off his rhythm a little bit. I did check the night then a sudden played all on the edge in that preseason game. He did not play inside, but something I very

32:24much expect him to do throughout the course of the season. One or two if we see a little bit more Bretton Cox without ability to maybe pressure the pocket or just collapse the pocket a little bit more. I could see this being a game where maybe he gets a few more snaps and maybe a couple of the other guys simply because of that ability to kind of stay home, set the edge and make sure that you still kind of maintains contain outside for Kyler Murray. I do have to ask you this three safety look has been much discussed this off season. You have these two safeties in you know, at Javan Bullard and Evan Williams who are kind of playing up in a little bit shallower than two high safety depth. And then you've got Xavier McKinney playing this super deep safety behind those two kind of triangulating the back end of the defense. How do you how do you expect this to look? What are what are some of the advantages of this that maybe Green Bay can do with this three safety look? Part of me has been so curious with that stuff with I mean the cardinal stuff in general has been how much that's what was Rolis and how much was Ganon from what I understand Ganon kind of let him roll and then Ganon would kind of sign off on that. So how much of that is

33:26what Ganon believes versus what he's forced to do versus what he had with a guy like Buddha Baker where you can get those eyes out there. And I think some of three safety stuff I mean it is just it's confusion but it also is can you put guys for me? Can you put guys in the best position to succeed? And how do you view a safety? Do you view? Is it a three safety set? It bullards out there and the you because you can you can rotate him back like I think you can we've seen him do that. But then you're kind of moving a guy into position where he's not great. I think if you're looking at like that you're lining everyone up three safeties you can move stuff around you can be a little more deceptive kind of afterwards if you got kind of interchangeable skill sets they do to some extent but I don't think you want to do that to the point where then you're hurting what makes your guys great you don't want to like well that puts McKinney in the slot and bullards high. Okay well if you don't get pressure and the QB QB is not fooled you put your guys out of position. So I think you can do some of that stuff you do have really good skill sets. I think just the two of them just McKinney and Evan Williams what you can do with those guys is going to be a lot of fun because

34:28those guys can do a little bit of everything and I mean Evan Williams is a missile McKinney is so smart like there's so many of these things you can do with those guys but I do think you have enough with with a guy like Bullard even if you view a guy like oladoppo if you get a little doppo out there he got a roast in the slot but if you view him is more like he's box he can like a thump in the box but he he is shown he's a better single eye safety than I thought he was going to be in the limited time we saw him doing that stuff. So I think you've got the pieces there to mix and match and I do think that the first four weeks they're going to try to make confusing because I think they kind of have to but I am I think there are benefits you can do that I just don't want like this schematic benefits that you think they give you those don't matter if the guys are worse out of position and then they don't get fooled. So I think you've got the pieces but it's something I don't want to see them lean into that much like two snaps of game in terms of like rotating bullet back and bringing someone down just that's almost like a blitz thing to me like can we put on a blitz or bring a McKinney off one edge and bullets drop them back like to me that's that's kind of the bigger one if you get there. I agree with you in the fact that they are going to

35:31have to make sure that they are very assignment sure and getting to their spots if they're going to do something like that but the ideas of what they can do in that because you could go to like literally all three safeties could go and cover thirds of the field you can have both of them go as box safeties really really quick and play with a single high safety in the back you can have bullard go to the slot on one side you could have Williams go to the slot on the other side you could then bring whoever's like if Cooper's in the slot you can bring him off the edge did there's just so many different things that are all very very malleable both just we are right before the snap or even post snap that they can do out of that and I think bullard Williams and McKinney are the three right people to be able to pull a lot of that stuff off and so I think they're going to be very creative with how they use those three but to your point they've got to make sure that they are on top of it because otherwise you know confusion for the sake of confusion can end up confusing you more than it does the other team and then it doesn't do anybody any favors except the Vikings so they're going to have to be very very sound with how they kind of approach that but it might be the one a like nerdy thing that I'm looking forward to in this game is seeing how that

36:35sort of set looks and just how they utilize those three players yeah this is the defense of general I'm very curious to see what what again it does with those pieces a lot of really interesting pieces you can move around like it's going to be fun. All right just really quick on special teams I don't know that I have this stomach yet to talk too much special teams although I am very excited about what Cam A. Cord is brought to this team I'm excited about Skymore all of these I'm sure will be famous last words but Trace Mac is obviously making his debut the big thing is I know you spent some time and blessed bless you my friend spend some time looking at long snapping in the overall kicking operation I don't know that we need more than 30 second I'm just kidding it has a much time as you want what what are your thoughts on the overall kicking operation what to expect from Trace Mac in his debut yeah the dumbest thing I've ever done one of those am I am I going to like am I going to continue that during the season probably who knows it's set up like quadrants over the of where the snap hits on the holder um because there's the whole atomite is thing I think like just based on that it's a limited look with out of my just because it was eight snaps I looked

37:35at all of orsics um 2025 or whatever yeah like so don't like one I am like hey let me look at let me look at place you know I just go to bed man just go to bed um ball uh he had I think in his eight to twelve snaps whatever I looked at with out of my just he had three snapped at the head which is like the worst possible spot you can do because everywhere else you're you're kind of seeing you're looking at where the laces are you can kind of turn it you ideally want it kind of over the over the place where the ball is going to hit where atomize was better at but he had three snapped like one of them almost over um the over wailin's head and I think all of last year or as I had two of those and they were like at the head so to me that was one of those like um I think maybe the accuracy could be slightly better in some areas but the disaster level is higher with a gallic atomite so it's one of the I'm I'm excited to see where some of the holder stuff goes just because I've never I don't know what you do with your spare time Andy I've never looked at that before that's always been a if it goes bad why did it go bad I've never looked at like where is the snap

39:42really good and he had weird stuff really in the season as far as not knowing where to be not knowing where else around I think this is a perfect role for him I think he's going to be incredible so as far as like optimistic offense as a whole I'm gonna wait to see kind of how this stuff goes but offense as a whole I am really excited about these pieces the pairing down of some stuff the running back room little shaky whatever we'll see but on that side as well I guess I'm concerned about defensive or offensive point I don't love I was kind of hoping I was hoping belt and was right garden because it feels like that that should be his position it's the same thing with Jordan Morgan it took us three years to get a Jordan Morgan is starting left tackle I think belten is a starting right garden he had rough moments last year especially in pass pro like yeah better as it went on stick him there that's a spot I don't hate monk but I'm concerned about monk and that is this week but that is all weeks this week honestly a little less so because if it is just if it's eyes intelligence monks been there for a little bit as far as communication all that stuff I don't know that I'm super concerned about monk this week

40:45because I feel like this week more than any other week moving bodies is a less of a premium than as most other times it's more about communication where you're supposed to be what are your assignments you're picking up all that stuff going forward if that is his job I'm concerned even if it was I know everyone's very high in jager Burton and he's UK guy so I really like jager Burton I don't think he's ready yet I think monk is probably the better choice now I think Burton you hope is going to be the future I would think future center but if he is future right guard he certainly has that ability in him I really like I've talked those before but I love his like when he's a center you watch his UK snaps a center his center stuff is all like he's in the right spot he's all technical and ball and he's that guard he's supposed to bury people like I like there's a weird switch of mentality that I really like with him I still think he's there yet but there's those I mean banks I don't want to get into banks because the the whole injury stuff but offensive line I think I say all that I really hire an offensive line then a lot of people I think I think Morgan's going to be good I like Ryan at center abokable welley is healthy at right tackle which big F based

41:50on the way some of those conversations have gone I think that's fine the interior I just it's it's shaky man and even if they go to more zone stuff and you're not trying to move bodies you're not trying to get big I I just haven't seen enough out of any of those guys to be like that's the offensive line of a team that's going to be great I think they can get there but that's the big concern right now and I know I'm not saying anything isn't blowing anyone's minds here or anything but that's a huge concern point you and me are a billion percent lock stop and I locked up in everything you just said I also did not feel like Jager Burton was ready coming off the preseason tape very promising very very promising but just not week one ready to be a full-time starter and less like you said I also agree I think he's a center and I think there's actually a world in which Jager Burton at center and Sean Ryan back at work guard might end up actually being the best line but I can also understand why they didn't want to take Sean Ryan and mess them again be like oh by the way now we're moving you back to right guard like you you just moved him to center you give him a contract at center you're trying to solidify that spot and to to you know

42:54upset everything for a fifth round rookie that may or may not be better than Jacob Monk right now I can understand very much whether they did not want to do that but I do think there's a world in which Burton at center and Sean Ryan at right guard may end up ultimately being the best version of this line and then last but not least I agree with you as well we're like I think there's a lot of doom and gloom about the oh line even if it's Burton and Belt in this week I think they're mostly going to be fine I don't think it's going to be disastrous but if you aren't talking about right now the best version of this line do I think it's a super bowl contending offensive line that's where I can't get to I just think that there are too many questions it's not that they can't answer them in a positive way but I do think right now that that could still be the Achilles seal of not they can't make the playoffs or not that it's like oh my god this line can't do anything but if you're going up against the best of the best and the other team as are you know the Rams for instance you know are trying to get there with four like are you going to be able to stop them with that five-man line that's where I think it's going to be a lot more difficult yeah like you said I'm open to being convinced I mean I get two weeks in the season be like all right I was wrong everyone
