You'll be talking about how to overcome your big fears. And you know, unless you're clairvoyant, you can really think how you can be afraid of what hasn't happened. Think about that. Are you clairvoyant? You're trying to solve problems that don't even exist? Number one way, challenge your fears about anything.
To not become a slave, but become a master to them, and make the decision that you're going to walk right through that fearful door. You're going to do the thing that scares you. Period. See what happens. Is it your worst fear? Come true? Or do you realize it ain't so bad? Just like when you jumped off a diving board. Scared, scared, scared, scared, scared, scared. You do it and you go, actually, that was fun. So see all the things you could miss out on and not have enjoyment, sense of accomplishment in life, just because you let fear be your master, as opposed to you being the master over your fear. And most of our brains love to overthink. Well, the brain is there to solve problems. But when you're trying to solve problems that don't exist and horribleizing is I call it. You give energy where energy shouldn't be going.
It's called wasted energy, wasted worry. So there are a lot of things you can do. You can stop, meditate, get into a yoga pose, breathe, close your eyes, home, listen to music, and dooses anxiety and everyday stress because it sort of detaches you from your thoughts. That's good for temporary. Everybody looks at fearful worries, some stuff in a negative light. Oh, that's a bad thing. How about thinking about how exhilarated you will feel when you walk through the door of your fear? I have to stop people all the time on this program. Well, I feel don't go there. How you feel in the moment may not be as important as how you want to feel in the future. Do you want to feel like this, scaredy cat stuff, or do you want to feel more confident?
Well, you have to earn that and you earn that by walking through the door of your fear. The most thing you have to do is, you know, get off your back. Don't beat yourself up about it. Okay, this has been your pattern. Now you're going to get out of it, not to beat yourself up over it. Just forgive yourself. And most of the time you make yourself sick of nervous because you only think of the negatives and not the positives. And a word everybody underuses and that's gratitude. I know that fear is the unknown and it gives you discomfort. But think of how grateful you are for the things you've accomplished and gotten over and gotten through in the past. Be grateful for that.
And also we have to get to the medical dash psychological diet, sleep, exercise. If you don't eat right, you don't get enough sleep and you don't exercise, builds up tensions in the body in all the wrong ways. And research shows that. So I can talk to you till I am purple around my eyeballs. But if you don't eat properly, get proper sleep and get proper exercise. Stress and anxiety is part of what your body develops. Even if there's nothing in particular to be scared about. It's just your body being ill-treated and that's what it produces when it's ill-treated. Surprise you put that one didn't I?
