This is a podcast from Rover Subscribe and leave a review on the potty every time you do roach has to give one dollar to labor Brice is back today Wednesday away yesterday brice well if we're gonna go tool songs. We could have gone stink first of course Fatting Thank you very much I was a way you say guys, but it's an ideal obviously because We'd just been away for Christmas leave and then I have one day back and they're not gonna go But it was the way the cookie crumbled. It was the way it was scheduled and so yeah, you say I had a colonoscopy And that is that that is when they essentially long story short. They put you on a gown It's pretty much knock you out. I don't remember any of it You bend your knees up into your chest and up goes a long old camera up up into Nature's pocket. Yeah, exactly. Yeah, and obviously it goes up there for the checking of like what they call polyps and If they can see anything wrong going on inside and that is because obviously balkancer is a massive massive issue in this country

How many people do we know of or have heard about or great listeners so many families right now as I have this chat or as we have this Will know of people they've either have fighting or have lost it or whatever The screening age should be younger in New Zealand It should be easy to be able to get screening all those things are things that we as a show current control But I personally when it got one you say and so just forget it's a good time to be able to talk about it on the show Of course, and if anything like as Dr. John is always said of anything different is going on downstairs That's where you want to get things checked if you see anything's like you know the blood Yeah, number twos or in your underwear or any of that sort of stuff And sometimes you don't even have those signs too if you've got a family history or whatever it can be a good chance to go and get it So my father had had like a stomach cancer when he was in his 40s Yeah, and so my brother and I have to go and get them every five years So this is my third Colonyoscopy always rolls around cook with Literals hitting away for New Year's in my phone rang and I was like, yeah, they were booking in your Colonyoscopies

New Year Make it me first week back So they've got it. Yeah, if you've never had one Like so mine was nine a.m. Yesterday morning. So technically could have done show But it was nine a.m. Yesterday, but the day before you got to stop eating from midday So you pretty much got a fast for 24 hours because obviously you're not out of it until after 12 30 years You would have been if you'd done the show you would have been a hangry. Yeah, he constantly going to the toilet Correct. You've got to have the stuff though. Yeah, so that's it They give you they give you all this they give you Two leaders of stuff you've got to drink one liter the night before and then I just didn't allow me yesterday morning to have the other leader and If for those wondering what happens, it's a full clear Instant oh boy, like flushes it all out. Oh, yeah, it's a lot of turbo Like it's just like ripping through you. Yeah, it's yeah, it's purple rain

It's Prince It's full noise and then anyway, so got it done used today and and luckily touch wood for for me It was got given the all clear Got the woff Yeah, the war and a fitness for another five years, but it was chocker in the array There was so many people nice talking to the waiting room. Yeah, all getting theirs done you say and the nurse is saying they just they cannot keep up With people that either supposed to be getting them or need to be getting them done But yeah, and I'm when I put it on Instagram because the feed afterwards was fantastic You look cool. Of course. They give you great club sammies And then I'll lovely. Yeah, they're really tasty, but really good But so many people would message back saying either they didn't know what the process was they're Inquisitive or that they had had family history and they hadn't got around to getting it done or that they were on say They're second or third as well. I just wanted to say you know good stuff for putting out there But now here's the inside of my back. Oh my It is very clean. I must say there's nothing weird going on there. They look very Very nice. She's clean isn't she? Oh geez look at that. You know what I you guys haven't seen it

But I'm creature love this reference. It looks like the worm from the June movies You know the room, but I don't remember what the worms call there's nothing It comes up through this and look your bumble looks like that actually wrong photo. That's my old See it wasn't sleeve He'll be like no general for me Get it in there give it a wiggle Oh Here's one of those poll noodles. They're shaking around Don't be afraid don't be scared You know honestly go and get these things down if you need to our numbers are ridiculously high

1200 New Zealanders, and I think I read that correctly. They 1200 New Zealanders die a year of bowel cancer Yeah, we've got that it was over three a day That's horrific and it's way too many rock listeners and all that sort of stuff So if you can go and get it done that is my public service announcement It's all clear to which is great. Yeah, mate. Yeah, we're happy. Nothing was left in there. Oh boy No, which Is a story about next That's out the blind spot So Bryce your way used to have a colonoscopy camera up your butt essentially and got the all clear, which is great Nothing left up there, but as far as you know, no, no, well, I don't know You're sitting funny

Unlike this Russian woman I found the story used today and she actually went for a survival test To check for survival cancer cells, and if you're unfamiliar with how that goes you sort of Certainly am You sort of sit back in this chair. You put your legs up in the stoo and then and then they they scrape your cervix Yeah, it's not the nicest So this woman goes for this checker Everything seemed to be okay. She left a couple of weeks later. She's an excruciating pain turns out the doctor Had left well out of the object. So the little brush That scrapes the cervix had come loose and wedged in there and got infected How would he not know that? I think so when you you pull it out and you just put it to the side and you checked everything's all good up there It's yeah, I don't know he just hasn't looked at the object. Maybe I don't know. I'm made that going. It's going to be safe Definitely on him, but she had to have a minute. What was in here? No

I had to have this emergency surgery to get rid of this Which side it equals to a whole lot of infections and that is Yeah, yeah, we have revisited this before haven't we? We looked at kind of what things things left inside after surgery, but this is a this is a new story That's horrible There's cuz I said that before I'm on mate. Who's that? Does like he's a surgeon a surgeon. There's a orthopedic. That's a shoulders. That's right But I'd never known but he was telling us that you know, they literally have to do like a they do a stock take Yeah, when they're in surgery with the nurses and all of that stuff that are in there they'll have like 89 bits of kit that were used in the surgery or whatever Yeah, and there's a count and they've had times where they've literally been finished the sewing up and they'll be like Negly, sir. We're a doc. We're missing 87. Not 88. I know open them up. Yeah Does happen and that's actually what we want to know this morning You're right Malwee have done it before, but I mean that is a terrible story Who knows what's still in Bryce? Who would know

Is there was there a hamster And also is this brain left up his bum two different people That's good. That is a good follow up. Yeah, that's the first thing we see there. You know what was up there your mum Your mum your mum was out there. You can't do a your mum dry your mum your mum your mum There you go Craig answering your questions Oh, I know the wrong phone texted as well three five two zero What has you've had a suit you've had surgery what was left inside there? Let us know this morning Rod Rice holes now Your colonoscopy Bryce used today, which you had a camera up your butt. Yes. I think that's out those and it's the camera I'm so man But yeah, if you have just joined us you got the all clear which is great. Yeah, I got the brim Warrant of fitness recommend them. Don't be afraid of them. They're Yeah, they're good to good to get we need more of them in this country Mal your story of uh, well the the opposite. Yeah, this woman went for like a

Survival smear or whatever you like to call it and the brush part of the stick that they used to scrape the cervix and get cells Had come off and got lodged in there and she didn't realize it's all a few weeks later Because it's really tiny the little brush pass. I suppose when the doctors released Still though you put it down he hasn't quite noticed that the the the in part there but still though you want better Oh god, yeah, what about if you're a dog if you're a patient you want to maybe bring the board game operation And just check that they know what they're doing Yeah, just give me try and get that funny bone out mate without getting the I'm gonna great game operation Not harder than you do But until you're doing it the nerds Yeah, the shaky hands Stay well roach wouldn't want you in your The cervix or me bum now totally not the way my hands shake these days Ha ha ha ha ha not the sides of the fingers Funny fingers yeah I want a doctor called funny fingers

Yeah, they call me funny things are near terrible name for a guy I'm Dr. Fingers Pogin Pogin Dr. Fungus would three Dr. Fungus See who's doing me up the doctor fingers Should we get to Jenny? Let's get the Jenny next What was left inside Jenny? Oh boy That mentioned you just turned out You just turned another first Hope Jenny can hold Wanting to know surgery what has been left inside of you There could be anything. I mean, I know Bryce you just mentioned before could be like swabs It could be medical tools. Yeah, but you name it it could be anything and Toys toys. Yeah Jenny joins us this morning now. Thanks for waiting Jen. She was there now. She's gone Are you talking to her? Who's talking to her? Where is she? She's just gone. Created. Can you hear me? Created. Oh, well, I tried to put Jenny on the line

But miles this could be a case of my phone being funny again. Oh, yeah, yeah, I tried Jenny good morning I'm gonna put on hold now. I'm gonna give it to you. Miles. This happened roach when you're away. Jenny good morning Good morning. How are you going team? Jenny, look thanks for waiting. Thanks for waiting now. Our phones got left in 2025 Sorry about that. What happened to you, Jenny? My brain's still coming out. Yeah, and so Funnily enough A year ago today I my water's broke and Then on Who's oh what so Friday this so what sorry? Mumboring. Yeah, you're in a couple days. So yeah, in a couple of days Um, baby came out came. I was enduced and it was a little bit gory, so we won't go into the details Um, but I lost one point six liters of blood. No And yeah After we profound out that people die at about losing two liters of blood. So it was close call. Yeah

And so obviously, was it all on normal stuff? She was And well, she was 11 days early. Oh, yeah, yeah, all good. So yeah, so it's still full-term, but was well. Okay, here comes baby. Yeah Um So yeah, so I got baby got handed over to the proud dead And I got whisked off to surgery to get stitched up Um, I guess they were too busy stitching me out and stopping the blood and everything that they missed um a bit of my placenta And so um without going into it you bleed quite a bit after birth Um, but my bleeding didn't stop Yeah, go on after a little bit. So eight weeks Yeah, so I Technically you had a period for another eight weeks until they realized that um my body was still going hey I meant to be keeping something alive here I Eight weeks later you had to go back and get that removed

Yeah, it took eight weeks for us to realize what why I wasn't normal Yes, let's Did you? Uh, I was getting a bit pussy that's the story Now you would you'd want them a lot like I thought you could bring the operation game into like surgery pre-op Just have a look at how their hands are going Maybe they could do like a jigsaw puzzle They're going to put things back together outside to know that they've got everything that I've got all the pieces. Well You'd think so with the placenta being one of the things that keeps me to go on So yeah sounds pretty easy for a radio now Jen hey, that's what we wanted no good for you, but I'm glad everything's okay. Yeah Yeah, no, we have a very happy little girl who's turning one on Friday Yeah I'm a genie too young to realize you got to shout out Anyway, oh well

Sixty to seven hey, let's come back place a midnight oil and tribute to the drama robs to sadly passed away Wanting to you now brass you back after your colonoscopy yesterday, which you had you've had some of course family history with that with Balcancer and your family and the stats are alarming 1200 die a year in New Zealand. That's just over three a day Yeah It's terribly sad we we know people affected by it. We know people that we've lost to it You listening will absolutely Have that same of course you might be fighting it yourself right now. Yeah, a lot of you texting in saying yeah Thanks for talking about a price because you know, maybe I should go and get one or Even the bell. I mean, it's probably even quite old isn't it 58 it's dropping to 58 and March for bell testing For screening dropping to 58 it has been 60 so now it's gonna 58 still seems quite old. I've got more young people that have been there. I've been taken Yeah, no absolutely and sadly cancer. I mean just

Oh, it's just it's just terrible rob her's the drummer from midnight oil 70 What an absolute legend has passed away three year battle with pancreatic cancer At the age of 70 formed Midnight oil who originally known as farm Um a school band back in 1972 When he formed what later became Midnight oil agents rocked out for five decades amazing. They've also lost bones Yeah, they did yeah, they did 2020 yep, at the age of 62. Yeah, he passed away as well. Yeah, which was from cancer too I think it was actually I don't even know what was sick No, no Because they've been doing some shows and I was lucky enough to see them a few years ago too So it's park arena Real sad so I'll introduce you to Rob King of the mountain Midnight oil on the road The morning rumble we work with Jay and Dunc those not for radio guys with a way bigger podcast Welcome back Brice away yesterday, and you would have told this dog story you've had this dog story that you found out

Out about a few weeks ago It's a dog story said I'm gonna hate I'm gonna hate Well, I thought it would make you love it. Yeah, now knows a little bit about this and when I was telling Mal about it She was like oh goodness save that Miles, I don't believe you know anything about this now this involves actually a sad story a passing of a dog now I never want to lose anyone to lose their family pet dogs a best friend something you don't quite understand Roger because you don't have that bond having me having Warren G my French bulldog who passed to have 12 30 years I still miss a little Warren like it's still weird around the house not having my little mate there been just over a year That's right I Brings me to this story Uh over summer. I heard about from a friend Someone they know oh Had their family pet Frankie What are you laughing Well, because you're you're smoking Brice Frankie died

You know, I mean yeah, that's sad isn't it for though for the owners. Yeah, we know I don't care But for the owners the only sad. Yeah, so friends found out about it. Obviously people start sending messages like Sorry about Frankie Take a moment because it's I'll bring back now bring back memories and stuff like that. So Price is even I mean price price getting emotional about it as well. What kind of breeders was Frankie? After he's the past teens So sorry together myself. Yeah, yeah, some people come around for Frankie They invite people around or people go around to say you know, they knew how important Frankie was was your line and state No, when they turn up to the house thinking that they were just coming around to show support or whatever And what they don't know is they've turned up to what's been organized sort of Pre because the dog hadn't been well was a dog funeral Yeah, nice

Funeral for Frankie now roger. This is where I know you're going to get upset. All right Imagine this you turn up to someone's house. You don't really know the dog Don't really know Frankie, but you know the people and you just wanted to you know, you didn't really know what's happening Okay, you turn up this funeral now people that was supposed to know it's poppin'in You just poppin'in, which is what this person had just popped in Yep They were asked to be a pulvera They had a coffin They all know it's a coffin Was it an open coffin or a coffin? A coffin for Frankie and it would be the same size as one we could use for roger The two owners and uh this person and uh and another person Now they carried they carried they carried a dog coffin How did it go? What kind of coffin is it? I'm I'm in trouble. I'm a lord and They uh and they carried they had to carry her to be a pulvera That's so sweet

For Frankie, they took him to the the back yard. Oh yeah, the hole had been dug And and Frankie was buried In the back and he was asked to make an impromptu eulogy Not a eulogy What Frankie meant? Yeah, what sort of dog was Frankie? I mean not that I care, but One of those cute little um Big ears And so you're made so this person not a dumbly like a chihuahua What is what is this person? What did he say on the spot? What did he have to say? Yeah, it said that he This is the best part. I don't think I can't believe he loved the way. He loved the way Frankie looked him It's so wonderful Frankie lick me Rest in peace, Frankie It's also how many tongues. It's also something we'll say about roght and you guys

I love the way roght looked me If you've ever been if you've ever heard of a dog coffin I love that but I love that idea I mean, I know dogs are cremated in the left in their boxes and sometimes people get in the house Will they go take them to where the dog got to go and they'll spread those ashes? Yeah, but a dog coffin You've been carried and buried and dog eulogies Was he buried with some of his favorite toys in that coffin? You know, it's a true toy It's a squeezy toys with the squeaky ones. Yeah Roll Frankie in Frankie went to Hollywood All right, he's Frankie All right, Pete. I like the guy Frankie licked me Well, he just froze. I don't know what to say. I love them blame him. I love the way he licked me Hi, and after a 10 deep regret That's a great story. What's not hilarious? In a coffin elaborate pet treatment. Oh, okay. What have you seen? What have you heard what how much money?

The amount of money people will spend on a unwell pet can make roght viciously angry All the time taking a poodle to a Michael Jackson Performance road. I saw in New York on Broadway your elaborate pet treatments. You're right. I had a roghton I always love it when I see dogs like Water skiing and stuff Pagan 10 Rest in peace Frankie Bryce you hit a story before a dog funeral that you mate went to dog's name was Frankie Frankie passed away roght Men a lot he'd sort of just popped around unknowing and it stumbled across what was the dog funeral of course an elaborate treatment for the pet And it was in a coffin. Yeah, and he was made to be an impromptu a poor bearer Brilliant Poor poor bearer and then was asked to a eulogy and I spot and didn't know what to say and just said oh Frankie

Love the way look to me. Oh god. Yeah, that's good. Oh just come up and look me I'm necessarily to have four poor bearers. Why? Well, are you just one person who'd lift up little Frankie in the coffin? Yeah, you're genetically You're right. Yeah, it takes away the thing of being carried out. Yeah. Yeah, you're a sweet kind of thing It's a dog Frankie. That dog had mana Mass amounts of mana Mel you you're loving this idea right the dog Absolutely love it. I think it's a beautiful idea But yeah, we were talking about elaborate pets. Yeah, treatment treatments And do you remember spotty the Dalmatian from last year? You had this He was flowing first class. Oh my god. I his family and he was watching 101 Dalmatians That's so cool I've never seen a dog in first class. Well, I mean, I saw a dog at a Broadway show a poodle in a pram dressed up like a baby That wasn't actually you wasn't It wasn't least pushing you around New York. You got some kind of kink. You got a foreign country

You can't you can't be seen around here as you're too famous New York no one knows exactly Um, I tried to erase it story from my memory Mel But that because that would be first class. I mean, that's like $15,000 and all the easier like bringing him his soup and his soup and everything like that and it's treats. Where do they put Yeah, where do the dog put on a plane come for animals? Where do they go? That's right to return to that. That is the thing. Can you ask your daughter love? Who's a flight attendant Raj where dogs would put well, you see like usually dogs where they belong and cargo Yeah, yeah, and so Not spotty the Dalmatian Not serviced also Like serviced dollars fly in New Zealand. You've ever heard of any any much elaborate pet treatment coming through miles Yeah, any very great rubble listeners. Well, um, there's one Texas said they they paid two and a half thousand dollars to have a leg removed from the cat Chantal says I'm the manager of a vet clinic with a vet who specializes in orthopedic surgery most of these

Least 5k per surgery and we have dogs that need both legs operated on and of course, that's $10,000. I mean, yes, you're right to be fair though We haven't we braced because you know you spend a lot of money on what you're interested. I'd never tell you the amount. No No, I'm like with some of the numbers we've heard over the years are way way more than that. Yeah, but there is no limit mate Ha ha ha Sky What you failed to understand you're a year out and even you didn't even find it on your on your spatical love has no limit Even I know that. Did you know? Did you know? There's no limit crutch Earn our boost now. You're a young and have a and have empathy and art. Yeah, there's no limit correct It's got no limit once or ever Would you would you pay 10 grand for a cat or dog to save it? Actually, no, actually, actually he doesn't even eat it doesn't ever have a seat belt Or a pillow I'd never ever be it I need to listen to asking the wrong person. I'm in an air bed at the moment

You are a dog But you love me though right roggy the cheap option Oh Let's go back. We'll come back. I went into rog phone elaborate pet treatment also what a lady does to groom her cat Keep these coming and keep it the numbers the amount you've spent because like I said if we think of one thing today Let's think of love has no limit Hell of a story brice mate. He was ended up at a dog funeral for Frankie. Yeah little dog dives He was a poor bearer poor bearer very good and had to do a eulogy into a speech for Frankie He'd never seen anything like it Tony dog four poor bearers funeral on the back. They'd made a coffin and Just laugh and and yeah had to do all the spot eulogies Which he wasn't expecting and he sort of froze panic didn't want to say anything bad and just they said oh

Well, you know, what do you think of when you think of Frankie? Yeah, and he said I love the way he looked me Yeah It's like we said though today if you just joined us there's no limit to love And there is no Yeah, it's a massive massive industry like what you can spend on dogs. Oh, well, do you need that song pull a little love? Yeah Any Linux Uh, it is a great song, but when it comes to animals and putting you know putting pets down on your man What a horrible thing to say. Yeah, he's the The undertaker So what do we got coming through? There's things like this that the inlaw says it takes they went to China last year They said they went to a mall, you know, go shopping. Yeah without realizing until they were in the mall It was a purely set up dog mall So massive more like a west field. Yeah, devoted to dogs and dog stores Dogs dressed up

Pushed in prams the whole shebang. So just like all sorts of dog accessories Like that is an elaborate pet treatment isn't it love that roger? I get you there. We've got to get you there My dog growing up had surgery on his legs is another one Uh, and for the recovery my mum got him acupuncture and massages for sure Is exactly what I'm having for my knee. Yeah, but she did it for a dog And then the text says when I had my soldier soldier shoulder surgery. Yeah, well, I got what's a phone call Do you remember when I'd take War and G rest in peace my dog? Oh, that's right. I had to drive the like an hour south every weekend to take her aqua drogging That's right Also, you had a vulva uh relocated relocated Was it something else? Was it the anal gland? Yeah, that's right Was it in pricey the aqua jogging a bit there? How much was that a listen? How much was that? I don't want to Yeah, how much did that help it? It was hundreds a yeah, it was worth it. I actually didn't do shit She probably like you just buffer on there and she drown

You know just biff them in biff them in Water goes about halfway up Have a little life tickets that keep them afloat or no, they do of course they do And they're special especially built treadmill and the way they had to pay for it I mean hundreds no no lemon to love what else smells and just just finally I've got plenty of ticks. We might revisit this later in the show So so far our dog of 11 years has cost us over 12k in vet Bills yeah, not long after we got him anyway. He tore his first cruise ship ligament Year later. He did the other cruise ship ligament each operation costing about four grand at the time now I owned an r8 club sport I just sell our boys because I didn't have any funds to pay for the operations That's from rob that's only going up in value And our r8 club sport Our tens of thousands close to maybe over a hundred I don't know your robes made a poor decision there No, no limit to love mate Now this last one here

This lady what she does to her cat talking about elaborate pet treatments I grew my cat with my tongue like a mama cat would do to her kitten I really could grow She'll just like spread out on my arms I'll just clean like her shoulders and her ears and the back of her head and stuff in her face I don't get as involved as another cat would. I'm not like in her butt Great to get an insight into Roger's search history Now creatures set up a bounce bag to see that lady and if you want to see it takes in the word lick to three five ten zero How I see the morning rumble podcast mellas single and roger's shingles It's nicely barren got him and it's brisal who picks up the key wicked God, that is a huge wicked In the areas come down to crack and news and have another side the circle

Stunning stunning century Michael brisal he joins us From India this morning first of all congrats on beating india in the 50 over format of the game to one We talked to the young what was his name? Jaden yes, bro, you gotta remember they know that's Gee, where's Jaden? We talked to the yeah, he's actually known as younger than me. He's 31 Jaden Linux. Oh well done. I might we talked to him Ah What a shambolic stuff Haking grats on that and whatting that series an india mate you must be stoked first time Yeah, no, it was pretty cool series to be a part of um, yeah as you said I think seven teams had gone before us before we're able to to get that series one in the one day format. So Yeah, there's no pressure on the 2020s now. We've done the tests and the ODS Yeah, exactly I reckon um Michael. So when we were talking to jaden the other day though

I was surprised you don't get that much chance these days with the Bizziness and the formats and how it all works There wasn't that much chance to actually have a big old celebration as a team You'd think with that much history. I was thinking Shirts off bears flowing. Yeah, show ease everything going on, but it's not quite the case Yeah, you would you would like it to be like Yeah, unfortunately we've got again tomorrow. So um I know the board the boys did celebrate and and have a couple of quite years in the in the team room afterwards and Yeah, we enjoyed ourselves, but then um, yeah, the t-20 guys come in and the ODI guys maybe maybe on that um on that flight that Yeah Okay, I'm excited to celebrate in chorus. Yeah, nice ride morning mate. It's male here now Is it true that your nickname is the beast? If so, how did you get that? Yeah, there's it so it's it's not a Bearing interesting story. It was just when I was younger um Strington conditioning and cricket wasn't really a thing and um, I was I was one of the one of the ones that went to the German

Yes, so the um just one of the guys called me to base and as ran around the time Mani Vati there was on the wing for the Warriors Of course, he's the base There you are. I'm I'm a little beast. I would say Well, I mean you and Glenn Phillips because Glenn Phillips likes to lift the weight plate or three Yeah, now he's he's certainly taken over that mentioned now um and far better than I ever did Yeah, um, I don't call myself the beast around him. That's for sure. I feel like my name would be the growler Yeah So I just I'll just come back to the cricket. It's pretty cool that you've got the world cup coming up in India And Sri Lanka The t20 world cup that is and you're getting five t20s in India to play as well Like this must be absolute bonus time for you guys to repeat yourself You had a great ODI series the conditions you look like you suited for them. You must be pumped

Yeah, no, it's it is great to be over here and playing cricket I think You get used to the conditions and things like that but also yeah, there's a lot of stuff off the fields that you sort of have to get used to as well There's in that first game in the ODI series the 40,000 fans More streaming and and yeah, just getting used to those sorts of things with the master of advantage as well Well, actually did ask jaden linux that one that question as well about the Indian fans. Um, do they mob you? You You my my strategy is just to find someone who's got a bigger profile than me and then from there they they just attack me So you walk around with someone who's Has slightly more senior than you what um, but more experience in this part of the world and you and you get away with Even thing just fun. Yeah, that's what we do with roger You played your hundredth game for the black caps Congratulations You debuted at 31 a lot like jaden linux actually um, but tell talked to us about Darrell Mitchell

He averages over 70 in india, which is outrageous in ODIs Like that's he's on fire you guys must be absolutely stoked with the way you guys are bad at the moment Yeah, if you could if you could pick a place to play really well, I think um, he's picked the right place There's obviously the idea and things like that over here that If you do well over here and get a reputation for doing well over here, then You get looked after pretty well and we saw that when he got picked up in the in the auction a couple of years ago Yeah, more seriously. He's he's doing great and Yeah, a massive reason to or part of the reason why we won that series was was the way that he went with the baton Yeah, it's it's been awesome to watch in and um and captain It's going to be a hell of a series five T20s in india then the world cap of course So lots to look forward to and thanks so much for your time Michael the beast Well, thanks so much, mate. You may from the weapon to be there

In the ground Thank you for staying up for this mate Only Roger in Missouri spoke to Michael And just had Michael brosable on from the black caps before from india Few suggestions few text coming through saying what's there a bit of a lisp on that and we've hit a bit of history Yeah, so what happens is when we use um one of the the Streaming zoom type apps. Yeah, it's time we use google meet it something comes through our desk if they're on an iphone We've been having the discussion out in the office as of the iphone Flower on an iphone something something stitches them up a guy got stitched up so bad that time you did she hard to have a listen On well aware fellas that we've all got smaller pension fans. That's why we only made it 15 minute Yeah, they gave us outrageous Access that we've never really had before to be That's so cute

But it was also like it could be just price You know The engineers couldn't find anything wrong. No, he was on a samsung Oh great stuff so there you go And we're gonna come back bros. I got a cool story in a elaborate prison break You might have heard of this story before but Jesus should have been a big action blockbuster movies or docker at some point The lense gone to free a criminal husband Unseen before unable to do again ever shortly We hear now bros you've talked early this morning love has no limits So you're mantra for today and this sort of fits in with the story here doesn't if we head to France He's told us too much of it. I'll be terrible Would you guys do if I got put in prison celebrate Oh, we what would try but a try but a call through to you If I was innocent would you would you come in and

Set me free break me out. Oh, I'll try and break you out. Oh, yeah Depends will you which prison you're at. I mean if you're sort of I mean I can't break at a parry No Maybe springfield be hoping on a conical Yeah, why do you ask well, have a listen to this now you might have heard about the story before but I don't it might be But I've never seen a great doko or anything on this one other great Jail breaks stories and love had no limit. Have a listen here In 1986 Paris became the setting for one of the most astonishing prison breaks in modern history A great escape like something out of a movie except this with real life a woman learning to fly a helicopter Just to free her husband from prison Michele Vajure was an notorious bank robber serving a long sentence at La Sante a high security prison in the heart of Paris

He'd already been caught and imprisoned several times But this time his wife Nadine wasn't having it for three years She was secretly enrolled in helicopter lessons under a false name not for fun but with a plan Renting a helicopter. She flew low over La Sante's rooftops and hovered above the exercise yard Michele climbed the board and mids the chaos below Within minutes the helicopter lifted off into the Paris sky and the couple was gone It was a scene straight out of a thriller the daring rescue of a lifetime driven by love audacity and incredible nerve Unfortunately for them freedom was short-lived four months later and nationwide manhunt ended in their capture Still a few jail breaks in history can match a helicopter a rooftop and a wife willing to take to the skies for love Four months on the run though. It's pretty good effort but a time to give them all see obviously During the helicopter stuff pretty good effort. Yeah, that's great. It's true lovers. Yeah, that is true love. They should have chop it and back to Chopped them back off home dropped him back in the yard made him climb down

Get back in there. You think as you asked are something a viewer in prison brice would share and take helicopter lessons to try and bus you out That is the question. She would your wife sure can she would yeah, I think she would actually I concur but I'm seeing how she drowsy wouldn't want Come on right fellas What is this is this is 1996? Hey, look honestly you and she can take my wheels over summer. I did she No, I don't want to hold on the chair. You'd have to tunnel out You'd both get helicopter lessons so you could break your youngest Rubin out of prison when he eventually gets put inside Well, love love the thought there but you're wrong. We'd leave him It's safe for everyone. It is That's why they call it preventative detention The Morning Rumble podcast the kind of podcast you know your lawns too

Ryan I'll produce a Ryan joins us in the studio get a Ryan hello, and boss Brad as well get a Brad morning Now Ryan our old producer of course now you're sick and charged you with the right We had a meeting about the show on Sunday said this week you guys you've got to get the boss Brad and you got to talk about One star ratings for Uber. Yeah, which apparently well yours aren't great either Ryan can I say? minor terrible and I've got 11 one star ratings on Uber So Is it like in the settings you go on and you can see how many times because you have an overall rating Exactly, but to go deeper it's settings. Yeah, privacy Sea summary and then you hit ratings. Yeah, so it gives you all your stats I've had 580 trips on Uber 454 five stars, but then one 11 stars Only a man with double digit one star range I'm exactly off the cuff knows how to get to that feature in Uber apps

It's very interesting. What it doesn't say there is that one of those one stars was when I threw up in Mulligan's So that's on yours One star ratings three of them are probably yours So you said we're gonna get Brad and we have to guess how many Brad one star ratings for Uber which obviously more than 11 Ryan Gotta be around that's why Ryan wouldn't have put up Very good. Yeah, yeah to be really honest. Do you remember why you might I've got lots of ones How many do you think Mal for Brad? I look as close to 20 Bryce Well, if Ryan's put on Ford with 11 of them. Yeah, I know. I'm gonna I'm gonna guess you bad 30. Yeah, I'm well. Yeah, you're right. I'm gonna go look I'm gonna go outrageous and say 37 that's pretty high I'm going 24 okay What is that? One star two of those who don't know that means you've been an absolute degenerate. Yeah

Means you've been abusive You've represented the rock brand I think what I'm trying to do Bryce to be brutally honest is I'm very chatty I'm trying to get you to put the rock heart. Yeah It's probably what I'm trying to do at a very nice manner, but I can tell you have had nine three stars to six two stars And Mull's you're very close 25 I don't know why I don't know why I thought it was very nice Cuties and we know what a piece of shit Even anyway, yeah, it's not a good look for the rock brand. No, it's not I'm sitting in an example for us Brad What's your actual what's your actual rating? My rating is not too bad. It's about 4.7 I'm going to go down In fact in fact Creech You've got a terrible uber yarn featuring a boss Brad as well, don't you? Sure do

Yeah, Brad is as a POS in another sense But still to do with uber Also, he'd be using the rock to pay for it Absolutely So one star rating through up on the seat Great great intro great producer Ryan bad enough. I'll produce a 11 one star ratings on uber to be honest I thought Ryan would be more he's not a good guy And his behavior once he's had a couple shocking Sloppy the boss Brad 25 one star uberade How many like we said would have been paid for by me he looks he'd justify all of them. Oh, yeah, there's definitely work Now Creech you heard of this and you've also got a story. This is also involves our boss Brad and an uber what happened?

Indeed, so one of my good friends Sam he was partying with Brad the boss and And his phone died so he said hey Brad I can't I can't get home. Can you please order me an uber? And Brad goes he of course, mate orders him an uber and apparently he's you know, he's still about Two k's away from his place and the uber just pulls over and goes oh, sorry, mate. You're right. It's done And and Sam's like what the hell right? Yeah, you're not at my house So far away and he goes oh, well, whoever's account this is on is just started a new ride So this rides over so Brad it started a new ride, honestly Cancel a ride midway apparently so so there's a bread had done this Brad had done and Sam had no like no way to contact anyone because his phone was just So he just he just walks home from there apparently he's still walking We haven't seen him. We're missing no literally. I don't know how I heard that story

I haven't seen it for years It's all on Brad Brad would have forgotten that he ordered an uber for Sam and Yeah, what's this? Cancel what the hell is that? All right, well, I need to do that Vintage Brad Vintage you ever paid for an uber roach? Like Brad a lot of company ubers. Yeah, they're starting to track me a little bit now Get it the odd email. Can you justify this sort of thing and I can You just say you were using email address. Yeah, Roger's probably using them in New York He probably was And you're probably going to your last trip you know when we went in 2023. I did use the company one in New York. Yep What are you gonna do The Morning Rumble podcast it'll even work in the evening You can stay welcome along and you're right Bryce. We don't often get into the pop culture Stories that are going on, but this is a biggie and look want to know about your family situations your family feuds your riffs

What's going on? Yeah, and I hear about them all the time my wife a little bit extra. She'll love this podcast She does is purely based on that so I get a little bit of an insight to all of this And she oh she didn't say word to me so I was getting that colonoscopy Yeah, and you would have thought I would have had her waiting hand in foot Uh-uh. No, she was all over the Beckham Beckham Saga that's going on the feud yes between Brooklyn their son the oldest And he's just gone to Instagram and he's just gone health a leather yeah on David and Victoria Beckham his parents. Yeah, they control yeah And controlling and narrative about him and his wife. Yeah, like it's like I mean As you can talk about you know families behind their backs and all that sort of thing or whatever but Going bang Instagram the whole world and worldwide world wise talking about this the UK media would like it I think Yeah, I think that's like I think that'd be interesting. They might pick it up It might be in you know a few pages in but yeah You guys have ever been part of any family feud to me Obviously you don't want to say where you don't want to say on the radio

But uh ever had any feud that have Spring to mind because I mean I've told you guys for me and my brother had that feud for about six weeks when we were Laboring side-by-side that's right 10 hours a day and we just didn't talk. Can you remember what started it? That would have been my fault. Oh, yeah Would have been my fault. Yeah, I'll take on it And what was the end result of that feud a fist fight? Over a toasted sandwich machine maker And was that the end of it like there was never any more feuds after that. Oh, we've never laid hands on each other's son Did he put you through a wall and a different fight in an only a fight? So he won round one I won round two. We won all well. Let's have around three Yeah, in fact both occasions were all my fault So sorry life. Sorry, mate Talking family feuds the Beckham's Feuding well, he's feuding with them their oldest son Brockland and he's feuding with David and Victoria It's gone international gone gone big this story. That's for sure. Messy Merrill messy, but you just playing some James addiction before their brice. Oh, we'll see you know exactly

Perry Farrell and Dave Navarro will Perry Farrell and the rest of James addiction of course and the bands of families Families yeah, there's a terribly messy breakup on stage. I mean he struggled with addiction for a long time Obviously Perry's had his demons like a lot of people and a lot of those bands have and yeah But he started fighting them on stage started trying to Dave Navarro and then yeah, Messy all of the rest of the band like nah, that is it Sador you've been broken up got back and then I saw just before Christmas Perry finally addressed it like it took him so long and then he just did a statement on Twitter like y'all. Sorry They're my bad essentially I've summarised that my bad but there was no one like Don't borrow none of them came in like all goods No left on scene. Yeah, your family feuds are no wait us on a band family feuds probably the greatest family feud of all time And they came back together the john's brothers Andrew and Maddie. Yeah, it was a great old family food for a while They were feuding for a while mate again. Yeah, no, absolutely now John day who

Used to be our sports guy. I did the sporting rumble with you males as well for a few years Used to read sport with us. He had this this this feud between him and his sister, I believe We checked this much Sorry, hang on mate. Yeah, what's that? Yeah, give it a wheel. I don't know man I don't know We'll just predate this We don't know if it's 2026 ready or not This is on Again one day it got out of hand and she gave me a bit of a beat down which I wasn't happy about So went to her bedroom and hid behind her door with a cricket wicket the sister waited for her to walk through the door and then whack over the back with the cricket wicket and then ran as fast as I could into the toilet Locked myself in the other John get the hell out of here right now and I was locked in there for a good hour Um, and then it was all quiet and I was like oh now you know, I just unlock the toilet Just look out the door. She's not there. I walk out boom She keeps me she's been waiting for an hour What did she got me real guard did just this and she was like but they had to be a truce at some point

And this came when I was 15 years old. Yeah, she was 19 Yeah, and we're in Nelson at the time and yeah, I had a couple of Christmas drinks And then I thought it would be a good opportunity to put her in a Boston crack Which is an old school recently moved when yeah Yeah submission hold It's where you're in my career. You're sitting on a back and you bring up sitting on your back Yeah, and it really hurts your back I didn't realize at the time, but yeah, it brought you to tears And then she had a boyfriend at the time and he came out to me and was like look John I think it's about time you stop. Did you start going into hot talk? Oh, yeah ring-a-ding-day was in full force There's my wrestling name back in the day and end of it So sorry Caroline for all those years ago Now that was good No, you're right, Matt. They're good to Boston crack Great The Beckham's are feuding at the moment between David Victoria and their older son Brocklin that's gone big the story international Probably on your news at night. Is it male? Yeah, while they say how control while he's saying how controlling

They've been his entire life That they're like manipulating the narrative between him and his wife and yeah It's just gone massive these last few days So your family feuds, what are you fighting over? Maybe you know we've had that call sorry that text seven years seven years Seven years I haven't talked to my brother for seven years Also, I'm not trying to celebrate it all make light because it's no good when you have anything family feuds But from the radio point of view, you're always like oh can we beat that now produce a crutch Just come in a crutch for a chat here So I rang that that one that said they haven't talked to their brother in seven years Yeah, and and he told me what it was and I was like oh my gosh, we have to get you on Put him on hold talk to some others came back to him. I was like so explain it in a more detail I completely misinterpreted what he had said He said my brother rolled my old lady and I thought that meant that his brother had shagged his late. That says wife But apparently it means it took all his mum's money So that's my bad I thought we're gonna get him on a little bit of brother rivalry from

Missing with the same girl, but no, he just the same girl being his mum I'm sorry guys, I'm sorry Thanks Creek and yes Raj My oldest sister and I had an 18-month feud when I was about 13 I broke her nose with a swing ball bat She did the same to me with the same bad about three months later At the end of when I was at the end of when I threw a part of the house brick at it Hidden around the hill and I pooped myself, but best mates after that Oh When my brother and I were younger We scrapped the heap and then mum was away one day and the old man told us Go out of the front lawn and go at it and finish this. Yeah, so for about five minutes We went at it and then I ran away and I grabbed a cricket bat and came back with it and the old man came out and stopped it all That's good. Yeah

My cousin is still in a feud with his sister and parents mid-50 so I reckon it's been at least 15 years now And then I haven't spoken to my dad and over 23 years since Scott and we live for just 10 minutes away One from Justin my mum and her brother hadn't spoken for over 50 years 50 years When I had talked to my family over 10 years and then the old boy 13 years and then dad passed away So many good no good at all The Morning Rumble podcast now recyclable just hit replay And earlier on this morning brice you've been holding on to the story and a hell of a story Made of yours been to a dog a funeral as it turned out He really he just thought well the dog had passed away Frankie thought he'd just see pop in to see how they were The owners no no kids Put out there. Yeah, and it was like family members aren't they for a lot of people Absolutely land like us to do there when our dog want to g past like a bit over a year ago

Yeah, it's hard to I until you've had that feeling it's hard to explain hard to explain to someone like Roger doesn't have a heart Especially when it comes to pets Yeah, especially males when it comes then yeah, and ironically you have a cat well Not my yeah, we do it's my daughter's cat. Yeah, Molly. Yeah, well whatever It sounds like it now It's a family cat to me now. It's just there. I mean, it's just there because it come near you not really no No, why would it? No, and maybe the user is a scratching post. Yeah It completely ignores me when we release it yeah, when lease walks into the room follows her everywhere she goes Me just completely ignores me which suits me absolutely fine. I don't don't be a part of Molly's life It's yeah, it's sad that these ignores you as well So they they stumbled across yeah, then they he was amazing blown away. They'd made like a coffin Yeah, guys quite handy. He'd made a coffin and then he was He was a poor bearer and and carried the

To the hole then they did impromptu eulogies around the room. Yeah, and that was when he froze on the spot didn't want to say anything bad Oh, what do you remember? What do you love most about Frankie? And he goes well, I love the way Frankie would look me Then regret it saying that I was so when we were talking about elaborate pet treatment miles And it's just so many came through we couldn't get to them all cam said we paid 15 grand for our dogs back surgery Worth it be over 20k and all now with all the treatments. She's had She was paralyzed from midway down, but back walking just slightly wobbly So we're there we go. We're there reset them And we need good news Anthony says our dogs had three hip operations 7k each Plus time off work recovery drugs follow ups time off we're probably pushing 30k Insurance though, it still helps and he's still livin. He's a levin. Yes Well, so happy to hear that Levin when most dogs are sort of croaking around it. They're not they

We used our honeymoon money to save the cat As he was sick That's what tell us little mate just put it down Too worried they were going to they were not they were going to get paid Anyway, we did the last two months of nursing it with draining fluid from its lungs Two and a half years on cats doing great a wee gem still no honeymoon though Miracle My mate backed over his jack Russell and his high lux He paid 12 grand of fix its hips I'm to enter the work Worth it worth okay. I tell you what mate worth every bloody set Old dust is now called 12g My ex had an ex my excuse me my sister had an ex racing greyhound It got hit by a car wrecked its legs she spent 60k over the years Repairing the stupid animals who's Jeff where they're sent it can now walk again It still has all its legs

And also if any sort of pet should have been able to get it out of the way of a dog it should be greyhound Right no, I know you you there's no way you got me money to save the cat But still I find this very heartwarming and happily drops 60k You have y'all reckon you have We had a pet rabbit named Harvey this is the final text guys when I was flirty He was on he was unfortunately murdered by a cat or a weasel or something Anyway, we had a funeral for Harvey the pet rabbit. Yeah, we buried him under our lemon tree with all the boys there to send him off We were listening to his favorite song Lord of the rings hobbit music And We sent him off with a double brown pouring it out on his grave for him Carl Bunga RIP Harvey So close where's your rabbit I'm secured

Oh I love a chemo story next actually watch 12k Then they to use the night I was blowing up this morning on elaborate pet treatments how much you've spent on your pet We kicked this off at seven it's still going strong and just to wrap it up before he to use the sport maels There's a few more that have come through while oasis have been playing My mom spent a k a month to keep her dog alive and it still smell like death Can't put a price on it still care no limit to love no limits I've erotic. Yeah, it's got two bionic knees eight thousand dollars each Plus a bionic ankle that's really cool three thousand dollars Plus then there's also follow ups drugs of course the costs amount always wanted a rock well Yeah, they're just old dogs. Yeah, I read a diamond. Yeah, but I'm massive And expensive but the looks of things miles as well sounds like a ride and finally put my dog through chemo

for sinus cancer I was told it would give him another couple of years of good life cost me 12k and He had to have him euthanized six months after the treatment What's going on over there? What are you bucking in your seat for? Well, it's just a you because you read it you tease it before price and you couldn't stop smirking you thought I mean it's no it's it is sad but it's just what happens isn't it spend a lot of money on on a pet Supposed to give it a few more years then about a week or two later they croak Got a should I use the money to go out on holiday I'm sorry Use the spot next now or judo a few, you know, you know, what's that sorry if you had that pet and that required money Would you just say end up? Yeah, gotta feed you Oh Bull up Rock accurate track This has been the morning rumbles show highlights to hear our off your chat check out the list of the podcast feed
