And at 937 AM flight 77 crashes into the Pentagon at 959 AM. The South Tower of the World Trade Center collapses at 1002. Flight 93 plows into an empty field in Schengsville, Pennsylvania. Although its ultimate target is unknown. It was likely headed for either the White House or the US capital at 1028. The North Tower of the World Trade Center comes tumbling down in a gray cloud of smoke and debris. Almost 3,000 people lost their lives 25 years ago today,

1:03including 750 New Jerseyans. We continue to remember and honor their bravery and selflessness. We will never forget. And this year's 9-11 Remembrance ceremony in Lower Manhattan is including a new moment of silence in Bill Tull. In the past, there's been six moments of silence during the ceremony. But 9-11 Memorial Museum officials say there will be a seventh to honor the service and sacrifice for all those who passed away from 9-11 related health issues like cancers. And that's going to happen after the reading of the names of all the victims. In other news, a 41-year-old moral burrowman has admitted to the 2024 New Year's Day killing of his 64-year-old men in the house where they lived. Carl Richards was initially charged with first degree aggravated manslaughter in the beating death of George Mott III. Mott had been the longtime partner of Richard's mother. Richards' children were inside the home door in the deadly encounter. Prosecutors say they will seek a 30-year prison term.
