• ESPN skipped a moment of silence during the Sugar Bowl broadcast, which was held in honor of the victims of the terror attack in New Orleans this week.
• Joe Biden addressed the New Orleans terror attack but he was in a rush to get out of there so he could watch the Sugar Bowl.
• National security adviser Jake Sullivan reportedly offered to resign from President Biden's administration after the botched withdrawal from Afghanistan in 2021.
