1:02the excitement around Melbourne it just makes me feel really good and you're still broadcasting baseball and various American sports in Australia and doing a bit of NFL where do we find you these days you're doing a bit of American radio too yeah I'm doing well yeah I still do the Melbourne aces will be on pay of this year which is great but yeah I'm working with the American broadcast the Westwood one radio I'm just sort of helping them out in the booth with some spotting picking up some numbers and players and things like that so really really looking forward to that it's going to be an unbelievable spectacle so given that one team's been here for quite a while and a kilometer I think the ramps are getting near tomorrow is that going to make a difference that's the huge talking point to Wayne I'm going to tell you talking my friends in the states and reading this stuff coming out of there they're viewing this as some sort of experiment that could have an impact on the way sports teams travel because it's a complete opposite as you mentioned the nine is here for like a week to get acclimatized and the ramp is literally flying in playing the game and flying out so depending on how it turns out you know this might be something

2:06that other people look at going forward well the Rams are overwhelming five it's will five it's this game and to win the whole thing out they yeah they are yeah a lot of people think that is to they're going to be uh end up in the Super Bowl which will be really interesting the two team split split games last year of course they're in the same division along with the Super Bowl championship LC Hawks which is remarkable three really good teams in the same division so it's going to be interesting game and I think that's the other thing Dwayne that people kind of forget is this is a legitimate regular season football game it's not you know a team coming over and just having to having a laugh and showing off for fans this is a legitimate game it's going to mean something could really mean something coming into the season now so and it's the perfect time zone so that's why we're playing it early um second game of the season so essentially we've got the eyes of the football world honest the American football world and everyone's going to be watching what little Melbourne's looking like absolutely and I think you can't discount the social media stuff

3:08that's coming out of here particularly from the 49ers uh uh reporters they're just making the place look incredible and the other thing I'm going to mention is a lot of people don't realize is that a strands are very familiar with American culture for a number of reasons Americans not so much they don't travel as much they don't have passports so it sounds kind of ignorant but it actually is just more like people discovering how great this place is so I find it pretty funny that well how does the coffee you know it's a good app but but literally you know people don't understand what the city's like you know I had two friends in for the Australian Open last year and the first thing they said when when I ran into them was what a great city you have why didn't you tell me this so you know it's your beauty's in the eye of the beholder I guess well the Rams won't get to see much of it though were they they're flying fly out so they'll see the road they'll see telemaring freeway and mcj and then telemaring freeway in the airport again yeah it's pretty strange isn't it and I think considering that they're like the home team that the team has been sort of given this

4:09region to market and they have done a pretty good job prior to this it is pretty strange though that they uh I've sort of let the 49ers win the hearts and minds and 49ers have a lot of fans here anyway dwayne going back to the mountain mountain of years and you know so I think there is a bit of a nine or fan base here that's going to be really interesting to see what the split looks like at the G on Friday yeah it's it's going to be enormous and um the weather looks like Bayon Ikay as well doesn't it for Friday so that's a good news story as well yeah certainly is that would be the worst thing they've had that before members of the game in Mexico city where they actually had a move because the field was in such bad conditions so that that's not going to be an issue and obviously the mcg curators do such a great job anyway but yeah the weather good weather will help it mentally because both teams like to kind of open up the offense a little bit so it could be exciting I hope it is I hope it's an exciting game now it should be a rip or end uh it's part of well we're going to see more games or will it be one a year from now and do you think here in Australia that would be my guess I think uh the travel is still an issue on the other hand if the
