41:53lot it doesn't I love the game and I care about the game but it doesn't bother me how long half time is if you told me that I'm going to the game this week and half time is 12 minutes then I'd be far more than that if you told me it was 22 minutes I'll be far more than that as well grunt I don't know people do you think people want to be at the footy longer and by which they'd be happy with the longer half time we do you think they want to be at the footy less um by which they'd like a reduction in time at half time which which one well I think you ideally you'd want to keep the same amount of game time but reduce the time when no sport is being played which is what the other things have done do you think like if they reduce in between goals from 60 seconds to 40 seconds do you think that's a massive issue for Channel 7 and their broadcast deal being able to get their ads in or is there other way for safe time rather than chopping it off when the sports actually being played yeah so I don't again because I work for Fox it doesn't bother me if they shorten the break after goals to 20 seconds or 25 seconds because I'm ready to go so but 7-1 on that break

42:59so I kind of get it I understand that pays the bills 7's ad breaks pay the bills there is this thought with us at Fox Grant that it's in that 35 seconds or 40 seconds when 7 are going to the ad break that that's when we really come into our own because we're offering the viewer 35 the 40 seconds of analysis and replay that they don't get on 7 so even though at Fox we're happy if they don't add break time or it gets reduced we actually like it too because it proves you know to us and maybe to some why you better off watching on Fox because you don't get an ad you get more analysis yeah I agree with that I'm a Fox sports watcher as well I just I just think it's going to be a real issue the fans need to keep their voices heard about to make sure that what we love about the game is not reduced because we need to shorten the game time in the AFL's eyes what we need to do is to reduce the time of game of the sport reduce the time when no sport is being played and that'll

44:00shorten the overall experience yeah good to have the discussion with the Grant you made some really good points and it is Henry if the game starts at two and it goes for three hours and you're walking out of there at 315 then that kind of feels about right to me and whatever we do to tinker with it to make the three hours that you get even better than ever I'm great with that but I don't think that we need the game blowing out to three and a half minutes three and a half hours at the footy for example I think that's what the AFL is where we are because you know you can go to an NBL game and you can go to a lot of other sports these days and get a lot more action in a shorter amount of time what we don't want um strangely enough I'm saying this for the NFL in time in town is we don't want it like the NFL where you've got to allocate four and a half hours to it and there's so much downtime yet do tend to lose interest in it but hey I'm saying this in the or 10,000 or NFL fans here about the tell me that I'm talking garbage they'll love the fact that it goes for and a half hours Sam and Keele down talk to you Sam. 1:38:47important to you? So it wouldn't so much movement? Yeah so like in the competition why is the club so important to you? You want to stay here? I think the culture we have here is just it's unbelievable I think for me especially this year I've really noticed that just coming in the club and just I'm really enjoying myself um we've got a great bunch of lads coaches um and we've had a lot of success and I think we're such a tight group so I think that's a major reason for my reasoning and probably a major reason for a lot of the boys wanting to stick around here I think over the last or my time here um we've kept a fairly similar group I'd say um and yeah as I say we're very tight groups I think that'd be one of the main reasons. Is that because everybody has been packed with the boys this day and you know if it was almost complete you know is it connected? Oh not an official fact but I think you saw yeah I think there is an a way I think a lot of people have taken less to stay here um and I think we've been able to yeah keep a very similar group and when you do that you can build a team around that and um yeah I think I think that's really important to have

I think throughout the year it was 50-50 I think as I said there was a bit of interest there and and something that I had to consider but yeah I just love it here so much and I really wanted to get a deal done here so um in the end it was also a decision for me and my partner to make sure you also loves it here and is very settled in yeah I said lovely is that that's was the ultimate factor in the end. How do you feel about facing out the line now? I'm just waiting how are you feeling? Get it all with that around it? Yeah now it's interesting I don't know I'm not really going to try and bind too much of that I think it's it's done now that the deal's done so yeah I'm sticking around so I'll just go out there and just play like I normally would. We're hearing now like Lovyn's happy to sit down and start talking about extensions as well how important would be for him to sit around and sign on long term and so on? Oh it'd be massive to get him he's obviously going to be a superstar of the game for the next 10 to 15 years all the show in this year and keep 50 plus goals is just an unbelievable player and yeah so is in his second or third year at the club so to think about that is just unbelievable so yeah I think I think that'll be working hard to reassign him. So how do you see your role sort of like it's like changing or sort of yeah I like over his time you have between now and two thousand and thirty four would you like to become like sort of a you know a leader?

1:41:51Yeah I think yeah it's definitely an area of growth for me I haven't really been considered a leader but yeah slowly working at China improved that part of my game not everyone's going to be a vocal leader but I think yeah this area is my game like on field that I can really improve in do you just laugh at that because you know are a leader at the moment? Oh yeah no I don't know I say I'm not in the lead to group or anything like that but I mean you can still have an impact in other ways not necessarily having to be in that group to be a leader.
