This happened at a plans committee meeting last Thursday evening, March 19th. The project's aim to boost recreational options in the area as the community grows. The first site, called Cuffellans Park, sits off Seton Road just north of Mount Surrell. Mount Surrell Parish Council proposed it mainly for the historic Mount Surrell Castle Cricket Club, the county's oldest. It beaters a cricket pitch, a full-size football field, open green space, a kids' play area, 25 allotments, plus a pavilion and community. Hub.
