Who replaces Emmett Johnson for Nebraska football?

That might be the wrong question.

Johnson gave Nebraska far more than carries. He provided physical rushing, receiving ability, third-down reliability and an underneath security blanket. Instead of asking one inexperienced running back to reproduce all of it, Nebraska may have several players capable of replacing different pieces of Johnson's role.
