Nat Williams Defends Kawhi, Grinds for NBA Minutes

Nat Williams, the Rochester native, better known in the NBA as a tough guard from the streets, recently took on one of the league's biggest stars. Playing for the Golden State Warriors on a two-way contract, he was assigned to defend Kawai Leonard during a matchup against the Los Angeles Clippers. In early March, Williams, who goes by Nat professionally, shrugged off any awe, saying he only fears God thanks to his gritty upbringing in Rochester, New York. The Clippers pulled off a comeback win 114-101 after trailing by 17 points. Leonard scored 23 points with 8 rebounds and 4 assists in nearly 29 minutes. Williams, a 6-foot-5 guard, has bounced around the league since going undrafted in 2022.
