Nastiest: Washington Commanders Target Ar'maj Reed-Adams to DOMINATE Offensive Line in 2026 Draft

We're going to start it all off with Arme Reed Adams, guard out of Texas A&M because he comes out of this class as my best fit for the Washington commanders, which if you're an every day or an every episode or and you listen to the mock draft Monday episode that dropped on Monday night, you're not surprised because Arme Reed Adams ended up being one of the picks that we took in said mock draft Monday episode. Left guard is obviously a big need for the Washington commanders after potentially moving I should say not after because it hasn't actually happened yet, but with no word on the streets right now, Chris Paul is coming back. We don't have an expectation one way or the other to be quite honest with you, but until that spot is filled, that spot is open, Brandon Coleman certainly could compete for that position, but bringing in someone like Arme Reed Adams at a Texas A&M would make a lot of sense. I don't know why during the NFL network broadcast called him the quote unquote nastiest lineman in the draft class and that sounds like something the Washington commander should

2:02probably be a little bit interested in certainly a trait that'll be highly, highly valued by those Washington commanders staff. Then you have his his heavy hands usage in the on field drill that you saw for yourself currently projected as a day to selection, not necessarily round two, but day two, which aligns perfectly 71 if he gets there could potentially be a future starting caliber guard without a top 10 pick. That would be great. PFF big board ranking has him at number 164, so obviously PFF and the NFL network guys see things a little bit differently, but we took him at 71 overall in our or no, we took him back here, remember, but it was a little bit lower than that day three, not day two, more in line with PFF because that's the site we use for our marked draft simulator. He was there for us, NFL network believes that he may not be there based off of their words. We'll see how those big boards change after the NFL scouting combine. Of course, because guys like Trevor Sikima and those guys out of PFF, they're out there in Indianapolis, getting all kinds of information like everybody else is trying to as well.

3:05Best commanders player comp, this is something that we added over the weekend to our series here. Give me a second for the name. I don't want to butcher these guys's names. I want to be respectful as much as I can. He goes by Venga, which is very easy, but Olaiva Vega, Iona Vega, Venga, Iona, I actually messed up the abbreviated easier say name, which is ironic, but Venga, Iona at a Penn state kind of reminds me of Brandon's shirt, right? I think it's the closest stylistic comp for him as an interior on the line. He's got that molar mentality, I think going on, Iona has been described as a quote, unquote, force of nature, quote, unquote, finisher, guys like that. Sure, obviously, I was known for his ability to kind of do some of those good things, but injuries, obviously, a big part of the problem I'm told, I didn't cover Brandon's shirt to be completely transparent because the year that he left was the year that I got here, but looks like the comp would fit reliability. Iona played a thousand snaps at Penn state, which of course is what Suref was doing on

4:05a regular basis during his peak years here in the DMV in the DC area, high character, high football IQ, always been played or praised by coaches and a lot of people look at Iona as a plug and play prospects who could be a pro ballerad, the gate, which is why he is the number 25 player on the PFF bigboard, which is far too rich for the Washington commander's blood, because they're not going to, well, I can't, I guess we can't say won't. I guess you'll never say never, but not likely or not supposedly going to have a pick around the mid 20s levels. It's an honorable mention fit here, Spencer, Fano, Fano, tackle guard combo, Utah, and I would say the tackle position has a little bit more certainty to it, but it doesn't mean you don't necessarily cup it a guy that can do both if you need him to. You are bringing Andrew Wiley back, who's at that tackle guard versus Tilly as well. Brandon Coleman has shown tackle guard versus Tilly as well, but Fano has not given up a sack in the last 746 pass blocking snaps, and again, has shown that he can potentially move inside the guard.

5:05If he need him to, he's on a athletic profile, we're in a sub five second 40 yard dash. So when you're looking at an offense, it's probably going to be pulling a lot and doing a lot of that kind of stuff. He was certainly fit again. He is a high, high prospect on the board, ranked number 21 right now on PFF's bigboard. So a little too rich for the commander's blood, but because anything can happen, we're going to talk about all of these guys, including the top 10 performers at the offensive line position coming out of the Indianapolis 2026 NFL scouting combined. 9:19Daniel George Jeremiah noted he has quote-unquote really good athleticism and quote-unquote is really excellent at the run game which is something that Chris Paul was not great at as he left guard for the wash commanders last year if he does not return certainly that will be a position that is open back end of the first round is where Fondo was expected to go so outside of some trades probably not going to happen same thing goes with Vega Iona guard at a Penn State plug and play type of dude force a nature again didn't allow a single snap a snack sack over his last thousand snaps DJ mentioned that he has strong powerful hands quote-unquote and is a quote-unquote finisher as well he is another late first round pick getting into some day to go actually to stay in the let's stay in the late first round here number 22 on the pff big board Monroe Freeling is a tackle but did very well and we want to be fair to everybody not just to exclude anybody ran a 49 540 yard dash outstanding 172 10 yard split uh Daniel Jeremiah talked about his ability to redirect talk about his ability to pick off the defenders at the third level uh making

10:22him a late first round prospect as well moving a little bit later into the board Max Eonacho out of Arizona states and uh those of you been there for a while know that I love my Arizona state guys Max Eonacho certainly is one of those guys tied for the best 40 yard dash in his group uh DJ notice his really strong hands talk about his knee bend potentially moving him up into the first round he's another off its tackle so again not likely to be a target for the wash commanders that early but did a very good job someone who could be a potential target for the wash commanders if he is still there Logan Jones Center out of Iowa clocked a 49 40 yard dash which is a great time for a center uh really good strength on display good on combo blocks things like that when you turn on the tape uh just kind of represent that Iowa lineage uh some other guys that are going to be a little bit hit or miss like number 30 in the pff big board number 41 in the big board so depending on how they slide if they slide things like that whether or not they're available Kaden proctor another tackle prospect so again could be hit or miss for the wash commander 352 pounds posted a 32 inch vertical that is a lot of man to be launching a lot of inches height tall whatever up

11:29uh danger of my call him a quote mallard in the run game and quote uh and noted that his strength is on display firm play in past protection as well very good prospect a manual pregnant plays guard which is more in the commander's wheelhouse coming out of Oregon Josh Connolly junior connection potentially uh plug and play type of prospects who understands the necessities for speed and movement skills quote unquote according to the NFL network broadcast a massive 11 inch hand measurements uh he is projected number 41 so unless the wash commander somehow get a second round pick in a trade back probably a little too rich for their blood uh number 88 which is kind of right in that number 71 wheelhouse is another tackle uh which you know uh never say never but again not likely 519 40 yard dash high football intelligence phenomenal flow use praise for his hair that's what that means uh danger amaya noted that he's a very good baller shows great movement as well Jennings dunker which you probably have heard or seen him on social media so again don't

12:29want to discriminate against tackles just because the wash commanders seem to be pretty much set at tackle at least as far as spending premium draft capital's concern so certainly some tackles in there some other notes uh Caleb Laumou out of Utah we're in a five second flat 40 yard dash uh he also gave up zero sacks during the 2025 season uh danger amaya mentioned that he has really quick feet but does need to get a little bit stronger Jake slaughter is someone out of Florida that we've talked about before here on the program really smart center great awareness finished this group with 50 starts which is a lot of uh experienced Kalin slaughter or Keelin slaughter Keelin slaughter Keelin Rutledge someone out of Georgia attack uh very athletic uh strength really fights to finish off each and every rep uh successfully returned from a serious car crash and nearly cost him his foot so obviously he's coming back from some serious stuff that type of resilience is attractive to anybody Parker Brailsford out of Alabama undersize the 289 pounds but uses that for his quickness as lateral movement uh to make sure that he makes up for it and then RMA Reed
