4:12My friends, welcome to your meditative prayer on morning gratitude. To get the most out of your spiritual journey, use pray.com every day and make prayer a priority in your life. Our goal for today's meditative prayer is morning gratitude. So just hit pause for a second. Before the rush of the day starts, let's spend a moment with God. Close your eyes. Take a deep breath in and then exhale out. Now take every thought captive and shift your focus to the Word of God. Take a moment to pour out your adoration to God who sustains you. What I give you praise for your Word is eternal. As the heavens are higher than the earth, so are your ways higher than mine. God, your thoughts are higher than my thoughts. Now, praise you because you are the everlasting God, the creator of the ends of the earth.

5:18You do not think or grow weary and your understanding is unsearchable. Being on God to direct your life can be daunting and demanding though. Sometimes it requires the absolute highest level of trust. This can be difficult. Not knowing what to expect yet, being expected to trust can seem frightening. Human nature drives us to seek knowledge of what will happen next. Whereas trust in God asks that we seek His assurance over human nature. Perhaps you have been struggling with your nature. Perhaps there have been moments in your life where fear was prevalent. Situations were doubt disabled your ability to trust. Come before God in this moment. Cast upon Him all your distrust and disbelief. Tell Him of the times your heart faltered and feared.

6:19Now, take just a few minutes to dwell on the loving kindness of God towards your life. Thank Him because His faithfulness is not beholden to yours. Thank the Holy Spirit for empowering you to overcome fear. Think of past situations where your trust in God brought you blessings beyond compare. Thank God for those past experiences and future ones to come. Thank Him for His discipline and direction in your life. Thank Him because His plans for you are good and better than you could even think or imagine. Thank God that through His love you will no longer be bound by fear, but instead you will operate in perpetual trust. God is present and He is listening to you.

7:19With the dawning of each day we have a new opportunity to approach God. So seek God this morning and ask Him to speak His loving kindness over you. Ask Him to give you direction for this day to guide your steps onto the best possible path. Ask the Holy Spirit for help in the decisions you will face and to bless the choices that you will make. God delights in blessing you. He wants to give you the desires of your heart. Remember God calls to you with loving kindness. Trust in the truth of His word that He knows what's best for you. Seek His plans for your life and His counsel to direct your steps. Do not fear. God plans to prosper you and not to harm you. He plans to give you hope in the future. So be courageous.
