But I will sing of thy power, Yay, I will sing aloud of thy mercy in the morning, for thou hast been my defense, and refuge in the day of my trouble. Psalm 59-16, Dear Lord, You are a mighty tower, a strong and reliable fortress when I am in need of shelter. You have proven time and time again to be faithful and reliable. Your power alone is worthy of worship. You display mastery over nature, nations, and the heavens. You also have authority to enact judgment on me for my sins, but instead you have shown abundant mercy. You are my defender, and not my accuser. You are my advocate, friend, and hero.

Praise be to you, O Lord, in Jesus' name, amen. Thank you for joining me in prayer. It says, but I will sing of thy power. Yay, I will sing aloud of thy mercy in the morning. For thou has been my defense and refuge in the day of my trouble. Let your worship rise up to God. God I praise you for you are mighty to save.

I adore you because your mercy is renew each and every morning. I praise you for you are my deliverer during my times of distress. I worship you for you alone have power and dominion over all the earth. And I give you my adoration for you are in control over everything and every circumstance. At times, let's be honest, life can be trying and filled with troubles obstacles and obligations can make you feel overwhelmed and overcome accusations and afflictions continuously threatened to drown you, keeping your head above water becomes an unendurable and unachievable task. But think for a moment on what is making you feel feeble and faint-hearted. Now confess those areas of weakness and weariness to the Holy Spirit. Share with them your helplessness and your hardships.

Tell the Lord of the storms that threaten to flood your heart and drown your spirit. Bring yourself up to Him and reach out for His refuge and reassurance. Now consider all the times God provided you relief and rescue and thank Him for it. Thank the Lord for being your fortress and times of need. Thank God for being your safe harbor in the storm. Thank Him for His power and His mercy. This thanks to God for all the times in the past you felt weak and found shelter in Him. For those seasons He became your refuge and your fortress. Thank Him for the access to safety you will always have in Him. Never forget, God is present and He is listening to you. Come before Him and ask Him for the strength to survive the storm, to give you the ability

to navigate the waters of this life. Ask God to teach you to lean on Him during times of trouble, to know that He will never fail you, that He will never forsake you, and ask the Holy Spirit to empower you to have faith in God's mercy, to know that defense and deliverance can always be found in Him. God is God to teach you to seek Him as your sanctuary in your stronghold, to know He is a tower that will never shake or succumb to the waves of this world. Remember, God is your defender and your protector. He is a shield that cannot be splintered nor shattered. God is the rock upon which you can stand. He is a firm foundation. So sing your praise to the Lord this morning and allow His power to assure you. God loves you.
