0:00You're gonna start the week here with Brooks Davis, University of Montana, wide receiver. Thanks for doing this, man. How's it going? Good, how are you? Good, man. Yeah, I appreciate you for joining us. Thanks so much for taking a minute. So first of all, you got to tell us just about getting on the board. You got to touch down over the weekend. So I just take me through the play, take me through how it just went down your eyes. No, I felt really good. You know, please put us in a great position to score. I saw just one on one with the safety, made a move and he saw the ball in the air and just had to make the play. Good throw too. It seems like he's grown in that element, kind of throwing guys open. So how have you seen him sort of progress? Yeah, you know, he's, you know, he's the facilitator of the whole offense, you know, nothing runs without him. And, you know, he's been a huge leader for all of us, you know, picking his brain. And, you know, coming just feeding off his energy, you know, he's a great leader, you know, leading our offense. So it was great. Just wide receiver wise, how do you think you guys have come together as a group? You got a couple new guys, a couple of guys have been here for a while. So how'd you just describe the receiver so far? I think we've mowed it really well. I think we've become a bunch of dogs and we're just hungry to get on that field and get in front of the stadium and show the fans what we've been working on.

1:04Well, and ransom goals popped immediately to me, right? The first day of fall camp. And he's continued that and he went over 100 on Saturday. So what sort of addition do you think he's been and what sort of strengths do you think he has? Great, a great addition. You know, he's a great leader. He's a great locker room guy. You know, great all-around guy, you know, big in the way room. You know, he's a pretty big guy. As you can see on the field, he plays really strong and fast. So it's a great addition to our team. And for you, I mean, what sort of things have you worked on this off? See how have you seen your game progress? Just everything trying to get bigger, faster, stronger, you know, polish my routes, you know, build that connection with Kalee in the offense and just learning football. The, to me, one of the things that stood out the most about the offense so far is the offensive line. I think the grades, I mean, these guys are great now at a super high level. I mean, right now, per PFF, Iouts had the most time in the country back there in the pocket. So how important is that, though, for you guys to have, especially in the past game, those guys be as solid as they've been? Huge because nothing works without them. They've been working their asses off in the weight room, you know, in the field, on the field in practice, you know, so it all flows through them.

2:06And I think they've been doing a fantastic job on the field. Must be fun for you two had to have sort of had a front row seat to watch this record book assault by number 10. Eli Gilman. I mean, he's just, he's so fun to watch. I keep saying it by Hope Gris fans are appreciated and soaking it in because he's just really, really special. But when he broke that record, what was your guys' just thoughts on, on, you know, him, him, right, his name in the record books? Kind of just magical. You know, I look up to that guy. He's, he's amazing on and off the field. Like he's one of my best friends on the team. So just seeing him, you know, break that record, it was all just special for all of us. And I think he deserves every single bit of that, you know, he's the hardest, one of the hardest workers on the team. And I mean, if things go his way, it's going to be, I mean, he's going to put those records way out there, right? Not even close. He's going to break all of them. It's supposed to be cool for you though. He's sort of beyond a unit that is producing one of the greatest. I mean, again, if it goes his way, he's going to be going down as one of the greatest players in the history of this conference. Yeah, I wouldn't be surprised. I wouldn't be surprised. I think we all just feed off that energy and, you know, just try to become the best offense we can possible. What's next for the

3:09offense? What are some of the things you guys want to work on and prove on all that? I think maybe just gluing all together, you know, we weren't a perfect last game. I think just working off of our mistakes, you know, all getting stronger and just building that connection. You taught tech coming to town, anything you've seen that's a point of emphasis this week as you prepare for the trailblazers. Just try to play our game, you know, focus on us, you know, it's mainly like I said, focusing on us and just trying to go one and a... Brooks, name us here on ESPN Radio. Thanks for doing it, man.
