Çalışma, Architecture Lobby topluluğunun Architecture Beyond Capitalism School (Kapitalizmin Ötesinde Mimarlık Okulu) buluşmaları sonrasında öğrencilerin bu çalışmaların Türkiye ayağını organize etmek istemeleriyle ortaya çıktı, farklı şehirlerden katılımcılar bir araya gelerek enformel bir öğrenme ve paylaşım alanı yarattılar.
