Shalom beloved, Godwishly bless you for joining us today for another time in our morning glory devotion. This is the only cup I see from Havish Japan International. Let us kindly share your weight of prayer. I heavenly Father, we thank you for this new day and wear presence with us as we gather to hear your word, please open our hearts to receive your truth. Sweet Holy Spirit, please teach us and guide us into your truth in Jesus' name, we pray with them together. Amen. Let us take our confession together from the Book of Jewish chapter 1, verse 8. This book of the Lord shall not step out of my mouth,
but I shall meditate and then stay in light, that I may observe to do according to all that is written in it. For then I will make my way first verse and then I will have good sexes. Amen. Beloved today we conclude our three parts devotional series titled The Profile of the True Disciple, and in this episode we will be looking at the third profile, the mark of Christ's likeness. This profile shows how a disciple's thoughts and gifts are expressed in daily life through Christ's life character and actions. Our Bible reading shall be taken from Romans chapter 12, verse 9 to 21, reading from the NLT version. Don't just pretend to love others, really love them, hate was as wrong, hold tight little words as good,
love each other with genuine affection and take delight in honoring each other. Never believe but work hard and serve the Lord enthusiastically. Rejoice in our confident hope, be patient in trouble and keep on praying. When God's people are in need, be ready to help them, always be eager to practice hospitality. Bless those who persecute you, don't kiss them, pray that God will bless them, be happy with those who are happy and weak with those who live in harmony with each other. Don't be too proud to enjoy the company of ordinary people and don't think you know it's all. Never pay back evil with more evil. Do things in such a way that everyone can see you are honorable. Do all that you can to live in peace with everyone. Dear friends, never take revenge. Leave that to the righteous anger of God.
For the scriptures say, I will take revenge. I will pay them back, say the Lord. Instead, if your enemies are hungry, feed them. If they are thirsty, give them something to drink. In doing this, you will hit burning calls of shame on their heads. Don't let evil conquer you, a conquer evil by doing good. Amen. The mark of Christ's likeness. Beloved, a transform mind changes how we think, an expression our gets changes how we save, but true discipleship also shows and how we live every day. God is not only interested in what we do, but also in who we are becoming. This is why in Rolans chapter 12, verse 9, 21, the focus shifts to the character and behavior of a believer. Paul begins by saying that love must be sincere. This means that a true disciple
does not pretend to love others, but loves genuinely from the heart. Our love should not be based on convenience or personal gain, but should reflect the love that God has shown us. As believers, we are called to hit what is evil and cling to what is good. This requires intentional leaving. It means we must choose what is right even when it is difficult and refuse to follow what we know does not please call. Another important part of Christian behavior is humility. A true disciple does not see themselves as better than others, but learns to value people and treats them with respect. This creates unity and peace and relationships. Life will not always be easy, and there will be times of difficulty and opposition. A scripture teaches us to remain patient, to stay prayerful, and to continue trusting God through every situation. A disciple does not give up his nearby remain steady in faith.
One of the most challenging instructions in this passage is to bless those who persecute us. Instead of responding with anger or revenge, we are called to respond with kindness and grace. This is not easy, but it is a powerful reflection of Christ in us. When we live this way, we begin to stand out. Our lives become a testimony to others. Beloved, a transformed mind, a life of service, and Christlike behavior all come together to show the world what a true disciple looks like. This is the full picture of discipleship. A life changed from the inside out, expressed in service, and revealed through Godly character. Amen. Let us take our memory verse from Romans chapter 12 verse 2. And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind,
that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfects will God. Amen. Let us pray. Lord, we thank you for speaking to us today. We thank you for teaching us how to think rightly, serve faithfully, and live according to your word. Please help us to apply all these truths in our lives, in transforming our minds, in using our gifts, and in reflecting your character in all that we do. Please strengthen us to be true disciples in every ear of our lives, that others may see Christ in us. In Jesus' name we pray with thanksgiving. Amen. Beloved God, we truly bless you for showing in us. Remember, a true disciple thinks right, serves faithfully, and lives to reflect Christ in every part of our lives. Let your mind stay renewed. Your gifts be used to bless others, and your actions reflect God's love and character.
As you walk in these profiles, you will live as a disciple who glorifies God and impacts the world for his kingdom. Call which lead bless you. Shalom.
