00Let us kindly take our confession from Joshua chapter 1 verse 8. This book of the law shall not depart out of my mouth, but I shall meditate in the day and night that I may observe to do according to all that is written in it. For then I will make my way prosperous and then I will have good success. Amen. Today's message is entitled, God your peace. Let us hear the word of the Lord. So they took Jesus in the booth and started out, leaving the crowds behind although other booths followed. Bassoon, a fierce storm came up.

01High waves were breaking into the booth and it began to fail with water. Jesus was sleeping at the back of the booth with his head on the cushion. The disciples woke him up shouting, Teeja, don't you care that we are going to drown? When Jesus woke up he rebuilt the wind and said to the waves. Silence, be still. Suddenly the wind stopped and there was a great calm. Made the Lord add his blessing to the reading and hearing of his word. Thanks be to God. God your peace. God your peace. Sometimes when the going gets tough and we seem not to find solutions to our problems and answers to our questions, when a certain pattern repeats itself, we are likely to give fear a seat in our hearts. Our faith may be shaken to the core

08and our peace completely sharted. Unfortunately when peace is lost nothing gets better except frustrations. Jesus was right there in the booth with the disciples before the storm began but it chose fear over faith and right there their peace got shrunk. Jesus came in, rebuilt the storm and brought calmness into the booth again. Beloved, whenever you lose your peace, focus in gets blurred, progressing gets retarded and the aspects of life comes to a halt. Peace is that gift of God that fuels your heart and mind with soundness, joy, calmness and assurance in the midst of chaos. It keeps you moving even when you are not sure of the outcome. It does not matter the battles with our daily, there is appointment we

11keep receiving. We will always have the positive energy to keep hoping and believe in the ultimate part of God that brings rest in every area of our life once our peace is in motion. In moments of turbulence fear gets heightened but let not go off your peace. How do we guard our peace? By constant fellowship with the Lord in prayer and with the word. You will have daily assures us that you are not alone, hence no need to be afraid. You must also be selective with what you listen to, what you watch, places you visit and the people in your circle. Amen. At this time for us to take our memory verse and our memory verse will be taken from 2nd Timothy chapter 1 verse 7, 2nd Timothy chapter 1 verse 7, reading from the amplified version.

14For God did not give us a spirit of timidity, of cowardice, of craving and cringing and foreign fear, but he has given us a spirit of power and of love and of calm and well balanced mind and discipline and self-control.
