What's up everyone and welcome back to the Epstein Chronicles. Cecile de Jean, who has been caught up in the Epstein Maltstrom, down in the US Virgin Islands, has now filed a motion to try and dismiss the lawsuit that alleges that she was colluding with Jeffrey Epstein and Jeffrey Epstein's criminal enterprise. Now Cecile de Jean was a very, very highly placed person down in the US Virgin Islands. In fact her husband was the man who was running the whole entire show. Meanwhile she was in Jeffrey Epstein's employ and the working on Jeffrey Epstein's behalf at every turn in the road. Now all these years later, she's using the same exact defense that all these other scoundrels used. Oh, I had no idea. I had nothing to do with it. I didn't know who this man was. Meanwhile she spent countless hours with him. She advocated on his behalf with lawmakers of the Virgin Islands.
But now that the butcher's bill is due, she has no idea who Jeffrey Epstein even was. So let's dive into this article from the St. Thomas source and let's get caught up. Cecile de Jean files motion to dismiss New York suit alleging collusion with Epstein. This article was authored by C and Cobb. Former First Lady Cecile de Jean has filed a motion to dismiss a class action lawsuit brought by six victims of Jeffrey Epstein and Manhattan federal court, calling their claims that she and other VI officials aided the sex trafficking scheme, a 225 paragraph of mess of vague and scatter shot allegations, uh, what? There is zero doubt. Let me be very clear. Okay. There is zero doubt that people in the Virgin Islands likes the Cecile de Jean help Jeffrey Epstein along. If it wasn't for their help, if it wasn't for their patronage, if you will, Jeffrey Epstein would have never been able to do what he did in the Virgin Islands.
And now that the Virgin Islands got greedy and they wanted to get this lawsuit, well, the survivors, they're not just going to sit here as the USVI takes more of their money. So they decided finally to sue the USVI and it's been a long time coming in my opinion. If it was one of my loved ones who was abused by this sick bastard, I would have suggested this a long time ago. How long have I been saying that the USVI is culpable here? Not only does the New York court lag jurisdiction overcrimes alleged to have occurred in the US Virgin Islands, the Jean was never properly served. The summons was delivered to a doorman at her brother-in-law's New York apartment. And regardless, she is immune from prosecution as the former First Lady and also because the plaintiffs executed broad releases in their settlements with Epstein's estate, which included his employees and anyone who had otherwise worked for him, according to the 20-page memorandum, accompanying the motion to dismiss. Always the same bullshit, huh?
Loopholes and technicalities. She can't stand on the merits of the fact that she's saying she didn't know Epstein or had nothing to do with it because that's a bunch of BS, so instead she has to rely on loopholes and technicalities. The Jean, who managed Epstein's St. Thomas Office from 2000 to 2019, also wants the court to strike as false, immaterial, and highly prejudicial, two paragraphs in the complaint that alleged she was aware of two violent rapes by him at the office between 2002 and 2004, but did nothing to stop them. The plaintiff claimed she was at a desk outside the door and must have heard the assaults. Well, we can certainly assume that Cecille de Jean heard what was going on, but that's going to be difficult to prove, right? What it does, though, is it builds the foundation and helps along the other allegations, because once you have multiple allegations, multiple people telling the same story, well, Cecille de Jean better have some explanations for us.
And unfortunately for her, she hasn't had any of those so far, only loopholes and technicalities, and we all know that's the strategy of somebody who's guilty. These allegations are untrue. Mr. Jean did work in that office during that time frame, and is familiar with the described desk outside Mr. Epstein's office, but she never sat there, and she never witnessed or heard Mr. Epstein sexually assault anyone. The memorandum states, Oh, I'm sure. I'm sure that your whole time with Epstein was all on the up and up. There was never any young girls there. You never did anything to try and further his criminal enterprise, and all of this is just a big misunderstanding. You know, one way we could have gotten to the bottom of all of it, folks, or Rico case. Oh, sure, they'll bring a seco case down here in the US Virgin Islands, because they want to collect a bag, but they don't have the courage to bring a full on Rico case. Do they? Nobody in the federal government, nobody in the US, vi, nobody has the courage to do it. You better believe, though, if Epstein's last name ended in a vowel, there would be 17
Rico cases, and everybody who ever even sat down with Epstein would be under investigation. But I guess if you're Jeffrey Epstein, that kind of shit don't happen to you. I had my own private office of my own. It shared a wall with Mr. Epstein's office, but that wall was very insulated with thick wall paneling. It was virtually impossible for me to hear anything that happened in his office from my own. The Zhang states in a declaration filed as an exhibit with the memorandum. Additionally, the plaintiffs have alleged the suit's relevant timeline is when the Zhang was first lady from 2007 to 2015, and the purported rapes fall outside of that period, the memorandum states, and in any case, bystanders cannot be held liable under tort law in New York at ads. Yo, all of this reads as somebody who knows that she did wrong, but she's trying to use the system, the loopholes and technicalities that people like her wrote into law in the first place, as her lifeline.
And the sad part is, she's probably going to be successful. Her New York attorney, Amelia J. Schmidt of Kaiser PLLC also filed notice that the Zhang wishes to join a motion to dismiss the case that was filed March 8th by the V.I. Justice Department on behalf of fellow defendants, former governor, Kenneth Mapp, and former V.I. attorney general Vincent Frazier. So the USVI is out here protecting its officials, just like I told you folks from the jump. The USVI is not a hero here, they don't care about victims justice, and they certainly don't care about Jeffrey Epstein's victims. If they did, you really think they'd be taking all their money? And then you have the audacity to have the Department of Justice step in and defend these ex scumbags who gave Epstein all these deals. So don't tell me about accountability, don't tell me about Denise George, don't tell me about anybody from the USVI, the whole entire place is corrupt. Her husband, former governor John DeJong Jr., represented by Daniel Lewis Savales of Savales
and Wong LLP in New York and David J. Caddy of the Caddy Law firm on St. Thomas filed his own motion to dismiss in January, and also seeks to join the government's motion, saying it raises substantially the same issues but is more fully briefed because the court allowed Mapps and Frazier to file 40 page memorandums in support of their motion, while the other defendants are limited to 20 pages. So what you need 20 more pages for your denials, you fucking stupid idiot. Allegations of a sprawling conspiracy. The class action suit filed in late November in Manhattan federal court by Jane Doe's one through five and amended in December to add an additional plaintiff, accuses the V.I. government of a sprawling conspiracy to aid Epstein's ex trafficking scheme. The wealthy financier, pedophile 66, who became a registered sex offender after pleading guilty to procuring a minor for prostitution in Florida in 2008 in a controversial plea deal, died by a parent's suicide in August 2019, while detained in New York on federal
human trafficking charges. His primary residence was in Little St. James, his private island of St. Thomas, where for years he ran a complex web of shell companies, registered in the U.S. V.I. that enabled his crimes. All of this shit was done by these same people who are now saying, oh we don't know who he is, we don't know what he was up to. He just showed up down there with a bunch of money and you had no idea who he was, nobody did any research, then he shows up with all these young girls and everybody's just like, oh this is cool, this is normal behavior. Go get fucked man, I'm so tired of these people being let off the hook. Some with the da jongs, mappin' Frazier, the suit names, delegate to Congress, Dacey Plaskett, former senator, Celestino White, V.I. Port Authority director, Carlton Dow, in his role as then senator, and John Doe's one through 100, who are variously described as U.S. V.I. air traffic controllers, U.S. V.I. airport baggage check agents, U.S. V.I. police officers, and U.S. V.I. Coast Guard agents.
All of those people said that they saw young girls get off of the plane with Epstein. This episode is brought to you by Spreaker, the platform responsible for a rapidly spreading condition known as podcast brain. Symptoms include buying microphones you don't need, explaining RSS feeds to confused relatives, and saying things like, sorry I can't talk right now, I'm editing audio. If this sounds familiar, you're probably already a podcaster. The good news is, Spreaker makes the whole process simple. You record your show, upload it once, and Spreaker distributes it everywhere people listen. Apple podcasts, Spotify, and about a dozen apps your cousins swears are the next big thing. Because if you're going to talk to yourself for an hour, you might as well publish it. And this is the same stuff that I heard when I went to New Mexico. Plaskit, who was represented by Eric Arbreslin, has until March 28th to respond to the suit,
while White and Dow, last month both requested more time to answer the complaint until they secure New York attorneys. The plaintiffs then have until April 11th the file and omnibus opposition to all outstanding motions, judge Aaron Submarian ruled on March 4th. So Stacey Plaskit is something else. Ladies up here, sitting in judgment of other Americans when it comes to January 6th, but she doesn't answer to any questions about her relationship with Jeffrey Epstein. You want to talk about hypocrisy? Is anybody going to call her out? Is anybody going to say to Stacey Plaskit? What's the deal? Of course they're not because again, they can't go after their faves, can they? And all those people who are silent now, they sure were calling for accountability when it was Alex Acosta, weren't they? The V.I. Justice Department has said in its filings that it does not consider first ladies to be government employees, a decision that to seal Dejon's attorney disputes, and it is unclear why it is representing only MAP and Frazier, and not John Dejon Jr.,
White or Dow, though it makes passing reference to the fact that they were government officials, only for part of that alleged time period. Alright folks, we're going to wrap up right here, and in the next episode we're going to pick up where we left off. All of the information that goes with this episode can be found in the description box. What's up everyone, and welcome back to the Epstein Chronicles. In this episode we're going to pick up where we left off with the St. Thomas source article talking about Cecille Dejon. The author of this article is See in Cobb. The JP Morgan connection. The Jane Doe's complaint leans heavily on information, uncovered through discovery by both sides in the V.I. government lawsuit against JP Morgan Chase, Epstein's banker from about 1999 until 2013, that was settled in September for 75 million. Money that should have went to the survivors once again goes to the U.S. Virgin Islands,
and then they have the audacity to get up here and act like they deserve a bag, like they've been wronged, like they have suffered all kinds of pain, all kinds of injury, all kinds of suffering down on the island. Meanwhile it's the women who are suffering because the U.S. V.I. officials sat on their hands and did nothing, and in some cases actively worked with Epstein to cover this bullshit up. And I didn't need the whole entire JP Morgan lawsuit to know that, it's not that difficult of a task to connect these dots. And when you have something going on, like we saw down here in the U.S. V.I., that doesn't just happen in a vacuum. That sort of thing is planned, there's people involved, and those people that are involved are usually people in positions of power, and that's exactly what we saw here. In fact, the complaint states that it was not until the V.I. government sued the bank and territory officials were deposed as part of that case that the plaintiffs in public learned of the many acts committed by defendants which contributed to and caused plaintiffs injuries.
Well these were receipts, right? We knew that this shit was happening, and we know that when you're doing stuff like this and you're getting tax breaks, you have somebody like Cecil de Jean working for you, you have all these other people that are in positions of power, eating out of your trough. Well, what? You're doing it because you're just a nice guy, and you want to give them a couple of bucks just because no, you're doing it because you're expecting something on the flipside. And what Epstein was expecting was preferential treatment, and that's exactly what he got from the officials down in the U.S. V.I. It levels many of the same accusations that attorneys for JP Morgan did to highlight the V.I. government's cozy ties with Epstein. That the de Jean's borrowed 215,000 from Epstein, so Jean de Jean could resolve a criminal case against him over the use of public money for improvements to his private home. I'm sure that came with no strings attached. There's a loan, and you know, just do whatever you want, Mr. Governor of the whole last
island. Really? Is that what you want me to believe that there were no strings attached? Epstein was just dulling out money like we give out Halloween candy? Okay, sure. That plasket visited his Manhattan home to seek political contributions and he gave money to her reelection campaign and to the local Democratic Party. Uh oh, big trouble, folks. We mentioned the Democrats, they're going to be out for blood. You can't talk about any of them. God forbid you call them out on their bullshit. That's the point we're at. We're in such an absolute estate that if you call people out on their bullshit, oh well, what are you a Trumpian? What are you? Maga? No, I'm just somebody that's tired with all the bullshit. And if that means that it's the local Democrat Party that's up to the bullshit, you better believe we're calling them out. These scoundrels are down here, putting money in their pocket, hand over fist while Jeffrey Epstein's out here raping people and then Stacy plasket, well, don't even get me started on her. This lady's something else. She has the audacity to tell people that they should be in prison when she's taken money
from Jeffrey Epstein and in fact, he's basically bankrolling her whole entire run. But yeah, she doesn't have to answer any questions, right? That he gave the local charities favored by the governor, that government officials facilitated visas and licenses for his victims, that he attempted to influence the territories, sex offender, legislation, in his favor, eventually receiving a waiver of the 21-day notice of travel down to 24 hours when Frazier was Attorney General. Yeah, he was basically able to do whatever he wanted. And that was the role that Cecille de Jean was playing. She was that facilitator, right? She was in the office with them, then she'd go home to her husband, who was running the whole last show, and you know, give him Epstein's demands. And you're certainly not going out on a limb speculating that because we all know that Epstein wasn't passing out money just because he also received lucrative tax breaks for his businesses were 300 million from the Economic Development Commission, including when Plasket wasn't attorney there.
Ah, Stacy Plasket, huh? So where are all the articles in the Daily Beast about Stacy Plasket? Where are all the articles about her ties to Jeffrey Epstein? We're not going to see those, are we? Very few people talk about it. And you all know why? Got to protect our faves, right? Like Nancy Pelosi's daughter says, can you imagine the fit they would throw if the shoe was on the other foot and say it was, I don't know, that Marjorie Taylor Green lady who was down there hanging out with Epstein? How do you think the media would react to that? How about some consistency, huh? Do the extent the plaintiffs complain about these territorial decisions? They must bring their cases in their Virgin Islands. Contacts with New York are insufficient to warrant jurisdiction in this case. The Justice Department argues, but also says that transferring the matter to the territory would be improper because case law asserts that courts should not waste judicial assets on cases that are clearly doomed. And because it would reward plaintiffs for their lack of diligence in choosing a proper
forum. He's talking about the survivors. That's who they're talking about here when they're filing this paperwork. And what are they so scared of? What's the US Virgin Islands so scared of? Remember all the people out here talking about how great the USVI was and how great Denise George was and the rest of them? And I was raining on that parade? Well, this is why. These people don't care, folks. Have you think any of these people down here in the USVI give it damn about Epstein or Epstein's bullshit? You're crazy. All they care about is profiting off of it on both ends. Indeed central to the motions to dismiss is whether the district court for the southern district of New York even has jurisdiction to hear the case or is the proper venue, given that the alleged crimes occurred in the US Virgin Islands. While Epstein on the mansion and other properties in New York and the plaintiffs all live there, the defendants are all residents of the USVI and add little to no interaction with them in that state, let alone business dealings, according to court filings.
To the extent plaintiffs rely on the government's prior suit against JP Morgan in this district, that filing does not authorize exercise of personal jurisdiction here. The government's motion to dismiss states citing case law that a party's appearance as a petitioner in one proceeding does not necessarily subject it to personal jurisdiction in another matter. Even in the same court, let me translate. That means we're scared of shit that we're going to get our pantsuit off of us and all the money that we typed is going to get taken and given to the survivors. That's what that means. Moreover the Justice Department argues the suit should be dismissed because the plaintiffs were required by law to deliver copies of the summons to the governor but did not. They're requesting that a federal court in New York hold a non-New York sovereign government responsible for human trafficking of its residents in the US Virgin Islands that can plaint fails to state a claim for relief and sovereign immunity bars trafficking victims protection act and negligence claims against government defendants.
Can you imagine? This is what they're saying in court, not that they didn't do any of this, but they're using all these loopholes and technicalities. This really needs to go before a jury, that's what needs to happen. And I don't want any settlement. We need discovery, we need some discovery in this case, finally. And if it gets to that point, we all know that the USVI is cooked. The complaint also erroneously names the John Doe's as employees of the USVI. It says all the John Doe defendants except the police officers are federal, not territorial employees. Cecille de Jong and Stacey Plaskett were not government officials. The remaining individual defendants were government officials only for a part of the alleged time period. Thus, the complaint fails to state a claim because most of the allegations are not attributable to the government, the Justice Department argues, oh no, not at all. Who gave them the tax breaks? I'm sure that that was the local papaya vendor, huh?
They really think you're stupid folks and they really want to get away with this shit. My advice is don't let them. A stay in New York for surgery. The John states in her declaration that she stayed in New York City apartment owned by Epstein, reserved for friends and guests, when she had knee replacement surgeries in June and September of 2017, because the procedure was not available at the time in the USVI. She was on medical leave and only work she performed was to file some urgent insurance paperwork in the aftermath of Hurricane's Irma and Maria that September, according to her memorandum and declaration, that's not the point to seal the John. The fact that you're the governor's wife and you're out here hobnobbing with Epstein and working for him in his office, that's the problem. Allegations in the plaintiffs amended complaint that the John stayed at the apartment to advise and assist Epstein in securing the USVI's cooperation as a safe harbor for his sex trafficking ring are demonstrably untrue, it says, demonstrably is it?
Okay, well, I can't wait to see that in court. Even construing the complaint to a ledge that venue is proper because the John traveled to New York in 2017, that happened two years after the alleged relevant time frame and does not come close to meeting legal requirements that the venue must be where a substantial part of the events or emissions given rise to the claim occurred, it states, and they want it down here in the USVI if it goes to that point so that they can massage the situation. Have a judge that's favorable to them, you know, the whole thing. This episode is brought to you by Speaker, the platform responsible for a rapidly spreading condition known as podcast brain symptoms include buying microphones, you don't need explaining our SS feeds to confused relatives and saying things like, sorry, I can't talk right now. It's unclear whether the John is being sued or official capacity as first lady or her individual capacity. The memorandum argues that she should be considered a government official for public facing duties as her husband's assistant when he was governor from 2007 to 2015. But that ultimately does not matter. It asserts because the plaintiffs released any claims they may have had against her in either capacity when they settled with Epstein's estate and then were back to the dumbass, stupid ass settlement situation they set up. And the way they set it up is straight garbage. The whole entire point of the compensation fund was to avoid depositions. It's amazing that more people don't talk about that, but that's exactly what it was.
They want to keep all of this under wraps, folks. Have you not been paying attention? The release, which clearly covers claims against her in her individual capacity is so broad that it should be read to include official capacity lawsuits too. But even if the court disagrees that the release bars official capacity claims as a government official, Mr. Zhang is immune from the claims in the complaint. The memorandum states, yeah, above the law, I thought nobody should be above the law. I guess only Stacey Plasket and Cecille de Zhang, huh, Jane Doe's granted anonymity. All discovery in the case has been stayed pending an initial pre-trial conference currently set for May 3rd. The Jane Doe's have been allowed to proceed anonymously, given the sensitive nature of sexual assault cases. And on Wednesday, the judge denied without prejudice, the government's request that their identities be revealed to the defendants to enable a full defense. Plaintiffs represent it to the court in their motion to proceed anonymously that plaintiffs
counsel will confidentially disclose plaintiff's names to counsel for the defendants. The Bramian wrote in his order, plaintiffs have not indicated that they are backtracking from the representation, and the court will hold them to it. Plaintiffs' main grievance is not that the names should not be disclosed, but that there is no basis for disclosure now before discovery, and while motions to dismiss are being filed, he said. For their part, defendants don't explain why immediate disclosure is warranted. But defendants fully acknowledge the sensitive and serious issues raised by disclosure of the identities of sex-traving victims. If defendants can articulate a justification for immediate disclosure prior to discovery, then the court will consider it, the judge said. The plaintiffs are represented by Jennifer Chloris-Plotkin, Jordan K. Merson, and Kimberly A. Kramer of Merson Law, PLLC. All right, so there's where we're at when it comes to the fast-moving lawsuit down here in the USVI, and hopefully it gets to a point where we're at discovery.
Because I've had my fill. All of these people that are using these deals, all of these suits, as a reason that they shouldn't be sued, that they shouldn't go to prison, tell me you're guilty without telling me you're guilty. But unfortunately, folks, I expect the same to occur here. I expect settlements, I expect payouts, and I expect silence.
