Maxx Crosby SPEAKS OUT on Baltimore Ravens Nixing Trade

0:00What's your takeaway on the trade that didn't happen? Just how the Ravens operated. I mean, Max Crosby was in Baltimore for a long time. Not only was he in Baltimore, he was flown into Washington, DC and then driven two hours to Baltimore, put through a whole bunch of stuff, especially physical testing. And then at the end of the day, Max Crosby is just looking to talk to the new head coach and then Eric the cost of their GM and he can't find them. And when he eventually gets to meet them or see them that day, it's an awkward conversation because everything is about to change with that trade. Just how the Ravens operated and how Max Crosby and his side of things should be a bit mad at the way Baltimore operated. You knew what you were trading for. You got a doctor in Baltimore who, you know, was playing the almighty basically. I mean, I guess that's his job to make an informed decision, but Max is a doctor who's

1:02incredibly well-respected. Things he's going to be ready for training camp. So are you really not going to trust the doctor who's well-respected? They did the surgery. It just seems off. Also, the timing of when they, they get there, they already know they're not bringing them up. But really, all of that is semantics really. In a lot of ways, it's all BS. They saw an outrout with Trey Hendrickson and then the outrout was there before they made the trade. Yeah, but the market had to come down for like, Trey wasn't signed on the first day of free agency a few days past and now all of a sudden you're like, oh, wait, we can get Trey Hendrickson for a different price. Okay, that's the Bragg's conspiracy theory that it's not even a conspiracy to me. It's what happened. Because they immediately signed Trey Hendrickson the next morning. I understand that. The timing of that is impossible to ignore. I mean, the Ravens should, there should have been some sort of punishment for the Ravens where they handled this.

2:03Well, end of the day, forget about all that. Like, my biggest takeaway from it and I was never on board with trading to first round graphics for Max Crosby. But Carm, interview, judgment, character, watching him on podcast. This guy's awesome. He would have been so much fun here. And for him to be that transparent about what went down is great. And the whole thing is amazing where he talks about when he gets the call and everything else. And he's also the fact that what the way he moved forward, the dude's literally in the facility back with the Raiders, the next day at six in the morning because he can't sleep. And he's already just, he's like, I'm not going to make this awkward. I'm just going to walk around and say hello to everybody because I know who I am. And this is the way it was meant to go. Like, yeah, where's the GM? Yeah. So, and it wasn't, to me, that's amazing too on the Baltimore side. If you go and trade for Max Crosby and you put him on a plane, you fly him out there.

3:04Is it the GM at the airport to meet him and ride with him for two hours back to Baltimore? Right. Like, you would think, if you're making that level of investment in somebody, you would be, you would be jumping up and down doing your cheerleader act when he gets off the plane. I don't get that. And what's crazy to me, obviously, is somebody that wanted the Bears to get Max Crosby and the Bears. I guess did try in some capacity. We won't know the full scope of how hard they tried. But at the end of the day, they did try and I'm like, just sitting here annoyed because Crosby was done with the Raiders. And the Ravens pissed him off so much that he's like all in back on the Raiders again. I don't think, look what you did, Baltimore. I mean, at the very least, at least he's not a lion, so at least he's not in the NFC. So I can take that consolation prize, but I'm just irritated because it felt like the Bears had an avenue to get him after all that, but you pissed him off so much. Now he's back to being loyal to the Raiders.

4:06Well, that was one of the fun parts of the podcast, too, where he talked about his phone is consistently blowing up the Ravens sign lender bomb, the Ravens, like they signed 12 players. Yeah, I'm sorry, the Raiders, I see my bet. The Raider, you know, he's getting all this Raiders news of everyone they're signing. A guy that never wanted to leave there. And now the roster's way better. That was funny. What do you got to see? So yeah, I had a little off. So it was Diner, a senior that reported on the Rich Eyes and Show. She said that Max Cross and his family were in the Ravens building while the Ravens were attempting to sign Hendrickson. So he wasn't necessarily in the building, Hendrickson, but they were discussing the solvers of a deal. So right, so it was there. So they get the M to me, what happened, and clearly, despite Bragg's outstanding conspiracy theory, they, their doctor did not agree with, with Crosby's doctor, and they're, and he gave him, dude, this is bad. He's going to be dead, and they were like, all right, we're out. And they quickly, let's get, let's get, let's get tray on the phone.
